No it's not half fry. Half fry / sunny sideup eggs are made on Pan/Tawa ( Basically flat surface). But poach is made on tadka pan ( curve surface) .

At least at this time when you have 100k+sub, please do research before uploading videos. Not everyone is so lucky to have 100k + subscribers so please🙏 don't educate wrong terms to your sub's, I am a Chef tooand I am offended by the Definition u destroyed and misleading others. (For example there is difference between hotel and restaurant, 79% of people in india still call restaurant as hotel similarly people in Bihar call it poached egg or poach egg and i don't know why🤔🤔) . And By the way in Tamilnadu this dish is call Karandi omelet it's common snack there. And to add on there is a big difference between poaching,boiling and frying even though all of these methods comes under cooking technique's.

Hi Abhishek, thanks for your kind words. Here is the thing, I am not educating any wrong terms to anyone. Title clearly says "Street style poached egg", I have mentioned in the video as well that this what we get in the name of poached egg in Bihar and UP. I live in Bangalore and if I want to try typical bihari poached egg I get it from local streets and for another one which gets cooked in boiling water and mostly it is served as a english breakfast, I would rather go cafe. And yes I am from Bihar. I hope everything is clear now.

U don't even know what is poached egg or meaning of poached and what terrible explanation you gave brother. Please explain.. (Before answering do a through research ) and also research what is definition of simmering/simmered.
