No idea how you can describe those petroglyphs as having "fair-skin, blonde hair, and blue eyes." For one, the image you showed of the Saharan rock art clearly resembles black or red-brown skin tones common in Africa today, along with a few people sporting literal afros, and there is no indication of eye color in a visual style so elementary. Also the current scholarly consensus about the traits you described is that genes associated with that phenotype didn't begin overtaking the dark-haired, dark-skinned (but possibly blue-eyed) Mesolithic Europeans until as recently as 6,000 BC. The Saharan Petroglyphs and entire Green Sahara period are much older, dating from around 12,600 BC to around 3,500 BC. Eurocentric wishful thinking at its best, and entirely unrelated to this video, the authenticity of its claims I am now forced to question. Genotype =/= Phenotype, and as is shown by the Haplogroup R1b (shared by the people of Chad and Western Europe) and, for example, Haplogroup D (shared by the Ainu, Andaman Islanders, and Tibetans), Paternal Haplogroup is not necessarily the only defining factor of physical appearance or traits like "blonde hair, blue eyes, and fair skin."

Interesting. I remember reading about Balkan hunter gatherers mixing with Anatolian hunter gatherers before the Anatolian farmers migrated to Europe. Since haplogroup R is Siberian, perhaps this subclade migrated around the Black Sea into the Middle East, and from there it spread into Africa with farming. Perhaps it would help explain the Chaoskampf myth pattern that is observed most often in people of Ancient North Eurasian ancestry, but also in the Middle East and Egypt.

Yes, the Harvard group has an interesting theory that I was initially attracted by, but I don't think there's much evidence of R1b haplogroups being of SW Asian origin. The evidence is clear that R1b has a very old presence in Europe, and last time I checked, the immediate predecessor haplogroup of V88 is found in Eastern Europe where various subclades of R1b originated - is this still accepted? My understanding is that further back, R itself originated somewhere between central Asia, western Siberia, and the fringes of eastern Europe. I do not buy that it originated in Ma'lta, despite the earliest known sample.
Remember that the Masai are cattle herders, and the original cattle herders were from SWAsia (Anotolia to NW India) which is where domesticated cattle also originated. Therefore SW Asia has to be the place where the R1 haplogroup originated, not W Europe.
I am curious why you think it didn't originate with the Ancient North Eurasians at Malta-Buret? At the Yana Rhinoceros Site, which predates Malta by thousands of years and is in the vicinity of Malta in Siberia, an even older ancestral clade is found in a population called Ancient North Siberian, who are ancestral to Ancient North Eurasians. The sample recovered was haplogroup P, a clade directly ancestral to both haplogroup R and Q. The haplogrouo Q is currently the dominant group in Native Americans, and we know they also have Ancient North Eurasian ancestry. So in other words, Yana RNS cam be interpreted as being ancestral to both Europeans and Natives. Both haplogroup R and Q. Haplogrouo R does not occur outside central and eastern Siberia until much later. All evidence points to Siberia as being the origin point of haplogroup R, and its subclades likely originating in related groups.
@@jonswap9097 Nonsense because all African cattle were domesticated in the Green Sahara from African Auroch these cattle are genetically distinct from Asian Aurochs. Different lineages of cattle. Steppes people carried R1b but Anatolians didn't so did they go to Africa using Ethiopian Airline? They came from Europe.
We don't know half or what you say or draw on the map. First of all R did not originate in Siberia but almost certainly in South Asia (where R2 abounds, and also the precursor of R and Q: P1) or less likely in West Asia (where R1a and R1b, as well as their cousin Q, originated). It's certain that R1b migrated from West Asia both to Africa and Europe but we know that R1b was present in Europe as early as the Epipaleolithic (Villabruna), so to this day is unclear if European R1b was co-opted by farmers after ariival (as happened with I2 as well) or was brought anew with the Neolithic migrants. Even less clear is what happened in Africa, because it's a different branch (V88), however it is also present and quite diverse in Sardinia and Italy (but almost unheard of in Iberia or otherwise in Western Europe), so V88 is likely to have been carried by farmers from West Asia. However they did not arrive to Africa the way you said but almost certainly via Sudan (where both R1b and I2 are surprisingly abundant), from where they spread as pastoralists to the Chad region, where founder effects probably amplified the impact of the patrilineage. So, sorry but I have to thumbs down: way too many fantasies and a very mixed bag with data.
@@ario4795 - I thought it was R* but in any case... so what? How many ancient samples we have from Southern Asia? There's an intrinsic bias in ancient DNA research in favor of colder latitudes, for reasons of preservation. This bias must be acknowledged and accounted for and balancing must be done from other data, be it archaeological (which establishes the factual "pecking order" of human expansion in Asia-plus) or from modern DNA (which is a complementary source of infor and IMNSHO can and should be used to trace the routes taken by our ancestors in their epic and millenarian journeys). Both these complementary sources very strongly suggest that Y-DNA P originated in Sundaland (modern Malaysia and West Indonesia, cf. Karafet) and that P1 (back-)migrated westwards across Northern India and Pakistan, leaving a trail (P* in Bengal-Bihar, R2 across India, incorporation of South Asian IJ and T, etc.) The same story is told by mtDNA (N/R and M1), adding some uncertainties because mtDNA evolves much slower than Y-DNA so the fine detail is lost. Archaeology also strongly tells us that there was first a migration into "the Indies" (tropical and subtropical Asia east of Iran) c. 100-90 Ka BP (with previous stage in Arabia and Palestine since c. 125 Ka BP) and, separately (intermediate stages are poorly studied yet), that the West Eurasian colonization was a single massive wave c. 50 Ka BP involving West Asia (core region, maybe also including southern Central Asia), Europe, Central Asia (incl. parts of Siberia) and NE Africa (where another matrilocal admiture happened with the natives, incorporating Y-DNA E1b to the West Eurasian genetic pool most notably, also some lesser L(M,N) mtDNA lineages). This last is the early Upper Paleolithic and the former is Middle Paleolithic of various types but quite notably Aterian and Nubian techno-cultures very clearly in India and persisting across the Toba ashes (cf. Petragila).
It's like questioning the truth of ooa's theory. how many samples were taken from the rest of the earth? you just don't want if R comes from Siberia though P and R basal even the oldest Q found there.
@@wftvtfrctyhrtd - Again, the problem is exactly what you mention: "how many samples were taken from the rest of the earth?" Or, in this case, from ancient West and South Asia? None: we have some West Asian ancient samples only from the Neolithic and South Asian ancient DNA is almost non-existent altogether. That's a bias of researchers, a problem of state introduced barriers and difficulties to prehistoric research (India especially has not been very collaborative), a problem of wars (before the civil war, Syria was one of the most productive countries in the region in terms both archaeological and archaeogenetic) and a problem of preservation (the hotter the climate, the worse DNA is preserved). So what I say is that it's only natural that we have many early derived branches in Siberia, because it's cold, has always been cold, and, before this very year Russia was very accessible to research. That doesn't mean that people originated there but that branches from further south arrived there and left remains that we haven been able to find and analyze successfully. It's an intrinsic bias we must beware of.

Both descend from F (also coalesced in South Asia, unlike its "brother" C, which seems more oriental), which also includes H (typical Souh Asian) and G (a bit more mysterious but I'd say that derived from some lesser ancient South Asian clade whose trail we have not found). In general F all the way to K seems to have coalesced in South Asia but K2 migrated eastwards, where it may have put pressure on C and D, displacing them outwards from the more fertile regions of SE Asia, there split between K2a (N and O), which headed to the north or stayed in Indochina and K2b (incl. P, M and S), which seems to have coalesced in Sundaland and sent branches to Australasia (M and S) and westwards back into South and West Asia (P1). The key point of disagreement among us seems to be that you force P1 to go through North Asia in a time when it was almost deserted of modern humans, and not accounting for related developments like the westward expansion of associated mtDNA (which left a trail in South Asia, notably R subclades but also some of the N(xR) variant), or the Y-DNA P1 trail it also clearly left there (notably P1* and R2 but maybe even R1 coalesced in the subcontinent, judging on the available data, R1b and R1a however seem from West Asia already. Another key indication is that in their back-migration westwards that population incorporated some South Asian patrilineages, notably IJ and T (but not L for whatever random reason), as well as some H (somewhat common in European Paleolithic ancient DNA) but not a single bit of South Asian mtDNA. Therefore they must have been matrilocal, which is also confirmed by the gender-unequal admixture pattern in or near Egypt. This is very unlike the patterns we observe in the two clear Paleolithic Siberian expansions, that of proto-Amerinds first and Uralics later: these show very marked patrilocality instead, retaining most of their ancestral Y-DNA but incorporating very large amounts of mtDNA from where they found other peoples. I must also add, even if it may be less obviously supportive of what I say, that they also carried some Y-DNA C with them, leaving a trail of C5 in South Asia and of som C1 (distantly related to Japanese C1) in (again) the Paleolithic European ancient DNA data set. Don't just look at the Y-DNA and don't just (please!) accept that findings in Siberia mean automatically origin in Siberia. Siberia is just a freezer that preserves DNA better than in other places, especially the tropical and subtropical landscape that our ancestors favored originally.

R1b in Europeans is clustered in archaic populations like Euskadi. It’s not particularly surprising to find it in subSaharan African populations because it’s very old and the European and African populations are both descendants of an older population that lived in the Sahara before it became desertified.
R1b entered the Chadian gene pool during Baggarization. Baggara Arabs spoke Arabic, not Chadic, implying that people carrying R1b-V88 were not responsible for the spread of Chadic languages, which may have spread approximately 3,700 years ago. One of the things we never explore in these videos is the transformation of dark skinned humans who are the aboriginal peoples of all continents into the people we see today throughout Europe, Asia, and mostly in the Americas who are not Africoid. These stories into the genetic diversity doesn’t neatly square into both archaeological evidence, as well as many of the forensic evidence we find in cultural references. We are likely missing a exciting chapter of our humans story, merely looking at such a myopic view and thinking it is the complete story. That way, surprises of finding a “European“ gene inside of the African continent could be explained by connecting the aboriginal Europeans in the north, who likely initially had Africa white features that then got spread to later populations, who migrated there afterwards. Investigating this will also prevent us from applying today’s Geo political realities to history that tends to hide or even disparage the realities that these areas were once populated by different races of people. This is likely the case of populations throughout northern east Africa, to the entirety of the Arabian peninsula towards the civilizations of the Fertile Crescent, as well as the Indus valley, given other videos, which expressed key parts, showing that the oldest human populations have by far the greatest level of phenotypical differences as well as genetic variations, it makes sense that those jeans would find themselves in populations that today look nothing like the progenitor phenotypes.

I think people have to really understand that haplogroups for the most part don't mean genetic makeup as we think today. There are some white people who have E1B1A ( not a lot) but the issue is that people have to understand that a haplogroup being "european" in origin does not mean that the origins of that haplogroup population are the same people of today. What it means is a single male won the genetic lottery. r1b is 20, 000 years old. The europeans that we see today had an african ancestor that migrated to eurpe and formed subclades. Some traveled back to africa, some kept moving through europe. Therefore the genes will return to africa and dispersed in europe. For example that people can understand..... If 100 people in a Nigerian village left and went to the UK, then they marry each other's daughters and sons off, the offspring will form a subgroup or subclade due to concentrated breeding. ( The recessive genes will be very dormant and the dominant genes will be very expressive which formed that new subgroup.) We'll call this new subgroup N1B. It will be a European ORIGIN haplogroup originating in the UK. The males will now carry this lineage. If some of the males return to Nigeria and have children with local women, Then those males will still carry haplogroup N1B. If the ones that stayed in the Uk have children with women in the uk, those males will still carry N1B. Thus sharing a common male ancestor. If the sons marry white women in the Uk and their sons do the same, Then you will have white Uk populations with N1B (if it becomes dominant) and black populations in nigeria with N1B.
My 👊🏿😅, see hein the problem is that Europeans want to connection to Africa , hence a subclade is formed for those that returned to Africa but the one in Europe remains the same … R1B V88 for the African one 😂… I’ll tell you the problem , see hein the Roman Empire had so many black soldiers and these men fathered so many children across the western coast of Europe hence the Y chromosome is still there as well as in Africa in high concentrations. For the origins of R1b and R1a we should really look at the Latitude at which Mal'ta Buret and Afontova Gora are found....even the route they travelled would have been approximately at that Latitude. Somewhere between 24 000 and 18 000 years ago. If I remember correctly the Villabruna cluster is estimated to have started to form around that time already....18 000 years ago. My guess is R1b formed somewhere between the Southern Urals, Caucasus and the North Eastern Carpathians...
It's most likely Central Asia. There are multiple R1b subclades that are relatively absent from Europe, but unique to Central Asia. R1b's age is also 23,000 years old, and the oldest rooted R1b, older than all the rest INCLUDING Villabruna, comes from Uzbekistan. Villabruna is only 14,000 years old In addition to this, Mal'ta Boy shares a high degree of affinity towards Iranian neolithic people, meaning that there was a migration of Iranian-like DNA into Siberia by 24,000 years ago, which is right around when R1b was about to arise. @@geonomad1 Hey no problem! The study employed a new detection methodology called IBDmix, and based on the populations sampled I was wondering if you believe their findings are generalizable to the entire African population. Would enjoy hearing your thoughts, if possible. Thanks!
i have less than 2% neanderthal and my y group is R1b-P25 so that means the neanderthals intermingled with R1b way down stream and that is more than likely how Europeans turned white because they were originally darker. @@jasonborn867 All human populations, who are not modern indigenous hunter gatherers, have Neanderthal, Denisovan or unknown archaic introgression or a mixture.
@@captivesojournerThe last academic paper I read claims that if Neanderthals mated with humans it happened in the Levant/Arabian Peninsula area 50,000 years ago which was before modern humans populated Europe. The original anatomically modern Europeans were dark because they consisted of several direct out of Africa migrations that began over 30,000 years ago. R1b was a back-migration. It consisted of dark-skinned Africans who left the continent following the herds of animals into Asia. Those same Africans migrated to the Levant and some of them returned home to the African continent. They eventually became pastoralists of the wet Sahara. When the Sahara dried, they were isolated in the south. Africans have the highest frequency of albinism. My theory is one of the groups of R1b that did not return to Africa were albinos. They migrated to the Caucuses mt. region and settled there for thousands of years. Eventually, the albino trait became fixed, and those light skinned R1b carriers migrated to Europe. Based on models they killed all males who were not R1b and mated with the females.

Hello…The fact that a nation carries a haplogroup to a large extent does not mean that the source of that haplogroup is that nation. The important thing is that they carry the oldest genes and have many mutations. Kurds carry the R1b haplogroup, which is the oldest form of the r1b haplogroup. Neolithic farmers in southeast Anatolia carried this gene. Thousands of years ago with cattle herds, R1b spread to the world from southeast anatolia. Not only did it spread to Europe, countries like Chad and Cameroon also carry R1B (v88) almost entirely. The source of haplogroup r1b is the neolithic ancestors of the Kurds.. This is proof that haplogroup doesn't identify ethic group, but instead genetic mutation. You claiming they are Europeans because of their mutation but I can argue that Europeans are negro Africans because R1 mutations can be trace backward to them. The Fulani aren't Europeans because modern Europeans have that mutation but instead they are Africans who migrated back to Africa while another group migrated to Europe. This proves that Fulani was the original while those who migrated to Europe became further admixed with the "Europeans".
The primitive Fulani people were members of the Mandelian language family, who lived and grazed around the Niger River. Initially, the Fulani people were E1a, which can be found in places where Fulani people were present. Later, only more Atlantic Congo language speakers, such as E-M2 (E1b1a), were mixed in because they were speakers of the Niger Congo language family and were easily assimilated. The population of the Chadian language family (Kirdi people) is very exclusive, and the Fulani people dislike them. In the 19th century, the Fulani people launched a holy war to invade their territory, and the Fulani people enslaved their Chadian language family (Kirdi people). The vast majority of the Chadian speaking population are farmers The truth is that 86% of Fulani people in Cameroon are African patrilineal haplogroups, with the majority being E1a (E-M132), while Fulani people in Sudan are close to 54% R1b.
They don't want to hear that especially as they again attempt to insert, steal or otherwise modify history to place themselves as being the father of all mankind... Amazing, these people have spent centuries staying as far as possible from anything Negroid, next they will become Haplogroup Adam, A00 which is the goal...They traveled all over exploring and leaving their seed along the way. That's how I see that foreign seed taking hold, not much unlike slavery.
As a Welshman I am chuffed to Beans to have 'family' in Africa irrespective of Skin Colour. If this truth doesn't destroy Racism I don't know what does. I suppose the R1A lot might get ansi but that's a whole other ball game :-)
@@famitsus987ok let me post the lastest study of R1B in the region. They found that genetic diversity in Chad was broadly divided by a north-south axis. The core ancestry of Southern Chadians was Central African, most closely related to Pygmies. Southern Chadians then experienced four waves of gene flow over the last 3,000 years from West-Central Africans, Eastern Africans, West-Central Africans again, and then Arabians. In contrast, Northern Chadians did not share Central African ancestry and were not influenced by the first wave of West-Central Africans but were influenced by Northern African ancestry. found that Y DNA haplogroup R1b entered the Chadian gene pool during Baggarization. Baggara Arabs spoke Arabic, not Chadic, implying that people carrying R1b-V88 were not responsible for the spread of Chadic languages, which may have spread approximately 3,700 years ago. We found no evidence for migration of Near Eastern farmers or any ancient episodes involving Eurasian backflow.
@@famitsus987investigated the genetic history of Chad, in the context of the Sahel as well as in the global context. We did not find evidence of immigration of Near Eastern farmers or ancient Eurasians of any sort. We found that the Y DNA haplogroup R1b correlated with the presence of Arabian and Western Asian ancestries in the Sudanese gene pool. Using autosomal data, we found that Western Asian and Arabian ancestries mixed in the 13th century prior to entering the Sudanese gene pool. We found that Arabian ancestry migrated from east to west, having entered the Sudanese gene pool 20 generations ago, the Chadian gene pool 15 generations ago, and the Cameroonian and Nigerian gene pools 10 generations ago. Linguistic data
The red dots he showed are locations of ancient skeletons found with the haplogroups named. Ancient skeletons compared with modern sample groups is how we know where each comes from.

Ice sheet are more than 3 kilometers thick most of the times.
Plus the snow in the mountains melted into rivers,
Plus water springs in the earth exposed when the earth, or mountains (ancient plateau of the origin'al garden) is eroded, creating some giant leaks, mud floods and mega rivers like amazon rivers...
Remove 3 kilometers of water from the ocean, see the video '' nasa drains the ocean '' and add 50% to recreate the erosion, invisible, on top of that, for the "re-emerged lands".
I am pretty sure than less than one million years ago, the ocean did not even exist.

Thats why we should take these videos with a grain of salt

The universe started from the head of the Aryan Nordic man in the void of supersymmetry
@@jonswap9097 the original cattle herders were from the pontic steppe, not SW Asia. And R1b also comes from the pontic steppe, not west Asia.

@@夜行者-s2x You may mean K2, not K, which also includes K1 (IJ and LT essentially), which coalesced in South Asia.

I think v88 migrated from europe via the sea
( The recessive genes will be very dormant and the dominant genes will be very expressive which formed that new subgroup.)
We'll call this new subgroup N1B.
An african ancestor?
Who?
R1b didn’t originated in Africa.
Maybe you mean the E1b1b father of the europeans who carry it.
But because they don’t like to admit to common sense then stories are created .. But really they absorbed our kingship and our ways and then resented us till today… Which is why the message of slavery regarding African people has been the only message in the history books 😅, you see the deception all to take peoples attention from the real truth or truths

Or albinos fleeing from thousands of years of being treated like animals in Africa?
And thousands of years of being sold as slaves in Africa, from the time the Tower of Bable fell in the Book of Jasher: until the United States Marines fought on the shores of Tripoli in Libya in the 19th century, Europeans and eventually Americans were fleeing slavery, and were commonly sold as slaves in Africa.
Look into it online...
"Like a hunted animal run to ground, the little girl was cornered.
Branded a 'ghost' on account of her striking white skin, Mariam Emmanuel had been chased through her African village, in a remote corner of Tanzania, by a bloodthirsty mob.
Exhausted and terrified, the five-year-old slumped in the dust at the end of an alley. She whimpered and cowered while the adults surrounded her and sharpened their knives and machetes.
Then they set to work, butchering her and dividing up her remains between themselves."
They're worth more if they scream loud and long, so...
'Mariam did not have the benefit of being unconscious before she died,' said one shocked investigator.
'She was killed, like an animal, by grown men who showed no compassion for another human being.'
Mariam's crime? She was an albino, one of more than 17,000 black Africans who suffer from a rare genetic condition that makes their skin white and their hair red or blond.
In many African nations - but most commonly in Tanzania - albinos are butchered in the street.
Their remains are used in the macabre human potions used by traditional healers to treat the sick.
Believing it will bring them good luck and big catches, fishermen on the shores Lake Victoria weave albino hair into nets.
Bones are ground down and buried in the earth by miners, who believe they will be transformed into diamonds. The genitals are made into treatments to bolster sexual potency."
Another very interesting point is that one-third of the Y chromosomes of African Americans come from Western and Northern Europe.
The genetic peer-reviewed research seems unclear whether certain sub-Saharans do not possess Neandertal DNA, and I've heard genealogical reports also confirming certain African individuals show zero Neandertal DNA. Can anyone confirm this finding, and also clarify whether certain African populations likewise show zero Eurasian admixture? Thanks for any assistance on these topics.
It's unclear whether or not Neanderthal genes have been found in people living in sub-Saharan Africa from what I know and know. Sorry for not providing clear information.
@@geonomad1 Hey no problem! I have located some studies where several sub-Saharan populations showed Neandertal ancestry, but the key question is whether these results may be generalized to 'all' sub-Saharan populations. Have you read the peer-reviewed Princeton paper titled, "Identifying and Interpreting Apparent Neanderthal Ancestry in African Individuals"? The study employed a new detection methodology called IBDmix, and based on the populations sampled I was wondering if you believe their findings are generalizable to the entire African population. Would enjoy hearing your thoughts, if possible. Thanks!
i have less than 2% neanderthal and my y group is R1b-P25 so that means the neanderthals intermingled with R1b way down stream and that is more than likely how Europeans turned white because they were originally darker. My family is from Jamaica (west African diaspora) most people in that area with R1b have V88. the separation at around R-M269 reminds me of the story of Esaú and Jacob. V88 (Jacob) did settle in the levant for a time before migrating back to Africa. and his brother went into the caucus mountain region before migrating west (yamnaya) which is interesting

This haplogroup R is not European and has no connection to Europe. It entered Europe and came from Asia as invaders and exterminated the original inhabitants of Europe. Haplogroup R is Asian and the ancestors of the Africans who carry this lineage never crossed Europe.
The vast majority of the Chadian speaking population are farmers
The truth is that 86% of Fulani people in Cameroon are African patrilineal haplogroups, with the majority being E1a (E-M132), while Fulani people in Sudan are close to 54% R1b.
