Got mine a few weeks ago, love the 615 blocker, nice balance and pop. 590 glove I’m loving. The pads amazing slide and seal, have the hybrid laces, find my knee is landing low in the knee block, it’s the right size, but trying different things to get my knee landing better in certain RVH positions
You really can't go wrong with the 590. And yeah you can play around with a few different things to get your knee to land right. How do you do your FRS? I do mine loose on the top and a little tight on the bottom
@@BonesyTV yea that’s exactly how I do mine, I had the same issue with my 12.2, they were an inch too tall but the knee block was good and when I switched to skate lace my knee block issue was solved. Tried it with HZRDUS the skate lace last week but same issue. So I moved the ProLaces all the way to the inside to see if that helps, fingers crossed !

ive used mine about 4 nights a week for the past few weeks. trying to break down the knee a bit to close up my 5 hole - but maybe i just ordered too small a size im not sure. love the pads though
How would these work for a bit of a narrower butterfly tendy? I Thought I would be forever limited to the Optik z shape but seems like with proper sizing and the single break that 5 hole coverage would be very good on these even with a slightly narrower fly. What are your thoughts?
Gear looks sick!! Love the sound of weave sliding. My only problem with the gear is the price 😳 if I could afford it I’d be ordering a set. Great video as always Bonesy

I'm curious how the glove is holding up. I am enjoying my Bauer Vapor 90 however it's Pro palm is starting to wear after a little over a year of heavy use. Thinking about a custom 580 True. Can you comment of the palm protection? My custom would likely be a Pro Xtra palm.

Yeah ideally it'd be nice to get two to test them both out but I just had my 12.2 590 rebuilt by the goalie glove guy so I can still use that if I want to go back
Hope you have more luck with the 580 than I did. I tried 3 different brands of 580s and hated them all. I play fingers up so its just not as good as a 590 for that style.
Yeah you really have to change your hand position with that. I’m still playing around with different styles but 590 is ole reliable

Whats the sizing like compared to True 12.2? I have 12.2 in a 32" +1 and am thinking about picking up a Hzrdus Px4. I was thinking about sizing down 1" to 31" + 1". Your thoughts?

I use the koho ones with the carbon plates. Exited for the ccm pros next month.

I’ve always been in love with the 590 break. The 580 definitely has my attention though but 590 was love at first catch

@@BonesyTV thanks man. I assume you got the stiffest option. Tried on the pads at store here in MTL...LOVED them. But have a more narrow butterfly however don't want something too soft that will wear out over time. Would you recommend the mid-stiff option with an internal double break?
I'll stick with the Knee rolls PX3 line .Those look too thin for my old school jam .
I feel that. I'm more of a knee roll kinda guy myself but I like to change it up every once in a while
