Baby cobra removal!

Francois received a call-out for a baby zebra snake in someone’s garden. The snake hid in some garden plants which made it quite a struggle to get it out due to the various hiding places. Eventually he got the snake out after almost unearthing the plants.
The Zebra snake or Western Bared spitting cobra is one of 4 Spitting cobra species that is found in Namibia, and also the most commonly found. They are mainly nocturnal snakes, but are sometimes seen during the day, and they feed mainly on rodents, but are very opportunistic (trash cans), because they will eat anything they can overpower, no matter what it is.

Luckily not. Snake venom degenerate so if it lands on your skin it has no effect. Luckily I wear a mask to protect me
