Capture of a sweet little constrictor.

The SON team, Francois, Kerstin and the newest member Christian received a call out for a snake the homeowner came upon while renovating. they description they gave us suggested that the snake was a Brown House Snake, but we were proceeded cautiously until we could confirm that is was indeed a Brown House Snake. and it turned out the by a cute little one. He did have some old healed injuries on the body that looked like burn marks.
These harmless constrictors are incredibly common throughout Namibia. The name "brown house snake" is derived from the fact that it is frequently found around human dwellings.
Above dark to light brown with a cream white belly. There are two whitish to yellow stripes on each side of the head that runs from the tip of the nose, passing respectively above and underneath each eye, to the back of the head. This snake emerges at night in search for food.
