My dad bought a new SMTA in 1954. I spent many hours on his lap behind the wheel of that tractor. Your video brings back alot of memories. Hope someday I will add one to my collection
That is awesome 👌
Got her looking good. There's a few fields around me that still have standing corn. Nice update. 👍🍻🚨💯💪💥
I bet the deer are loving it
Looks great and sounds great.
That MTA looks fabulous!!
She sounds nice and strong too!!
Looking good!!!
That was a nice addition to your lineup. Looking forward to the next ones.
I'm very happy with it
What a great tractor. Always look forward to your videos. All the best 🇬🇧.
Appreciate it
Looking good! Nice improvements to the tractor.
Thanks
Hell of a nice tractor especially now!
Excellent video Gino :) also happy MT/A going super 👌 👏 for you and running like top ! My old neighborhood neighbor farmer late Bill had and bought new from Farmall dealer also baby it too!
Lovely tractor that and the throttle response on it is just spot on 💪 Red Power 💪💥
Awesome buddy the snow makes that red shine even more than usual
Yeah and a little bit of water for even more shine 😁
You've got a good one. Really nice SMTA
Thank you
Right on, Loved the story of improving one of the most Iconic tractors of all time. Great Video
Thanks 👍
Another day closer to Spring! Getting my seeds this week!
I'm about a month away from seed and fertilizer
What a good looking tractor!
Thanks
That is a sweet looking tractor Gene.👍❤️😁
Thanks
Sweet looking tractor. All those little things you did makes a big difference on the overall looks.
Thanks...some are just worth doin'
Very nice SMTA! IMO one of the best models ever made by Farmall
I totally agree
I love them older IH tractors, I still remember the very last Super H my dad had. Sweet tractors, BOOM !
I can't stay off of them
Hell of a nice tractor 😮
Thank you
Very nice!
Those Rear tires look awesome!
Thanks 👊
Cool old tractor dude ❤
Thank you
Definitely a workhorse ready to go and grow for you. Sure is a beautiful tractor.
Thanks Kyle
That S-MTA is the pride in your fleet. All your Farmalls are awesome but this one, well, you should be very proud!
Definitely
They are a beast of a tractor
My buddy's dad had one that we ran. The old muffler turn cherry red at night. It was a power house. I did love gas.
Thank God gas was .60¢ back then.
We got to make sure you get your crops in earlier. That picker would be fun.
TAKE CARE AND STAY WARM !!
Great sound once you got it started😅. Nice looking tractor.
Good job on video red power the tractors looks good in video's of tractors thanks for getting me into the old tractors some of video's got me into some red power tractors it hard find a farmall m tractor in wide front tractor
Nice tractor. Enjoy it. I need to get mine finished.
Definitely
Cool buddy
Nothing wrong with that start. Nice
You've got your MTA and Pete's got his 856 Custom torn down. It's getting pretty interesting.
Dang nice tractor
SMTEEEAYY WEDNESDAY 💥BOOM! 💥
You know it
Yes sir I enjoyed every video that you put on here and hereing about red power
Red power forever
Good video, l have a 1954 SMta Good tractors.
Definitely
Looking good! Yep those small things add up after awhile the next thing ya know the whole thing is done. Noticed all the deer tracks in the field must have a pile of em. If ya do good for you our deer population is really down the creek. Enjoy it all while you can have a ball!
Yeah there are a lot of deer around
That really is a nice tractor 🙂
I know I am sold l o l
You've done a lot to it, but it's a very good tractor. I'm amazed they didn't fix some of those things when they painted it.
I was too
I would say driving the SMTA is about like driving a new one now.
Can't believe you left that beautiful SMTA out in the rain.😮
A few hours don't hurt em
Sweeet machine!
Thanks
The red link belt made it your own. I hear you on the salt on the tractor. I spray my steel lines on my loader with WD 45. If it wasn't for family needing snow plowing the tractor would not see the salt.
Yeah I just didn't trust the belt long term
That is one nice machine. Dont think you could ask for better
Agree 👍
You did a lot with it! That’s why I can’t have one!😂
With your new found TH-cam success, you can own 10 of em! 😁
@@FarmallFanatic 😂😂😂
Let the Thunder roll

I am anxious to see what your next addition to the fleet will be!!
The looking n searching is the fun
@@FarmallFanatic I bet it is!!
Super MTA....all the way.....!!!!
What just throw the Brim away?

SMTA Red Power
❤💪🏼❤
💥 Boom 💥
You know it 😁
Because it was so dry here by the time the mill got my burn down applied. The ground was very dry when I was able to plant. Then it was six weeks before we got rain. As a result i had a lot suicide germination on one of my fields. I ended up replanting on the 4th of July with an 84 day corn, then call the mill and told them it needed sprayed again. It took them a month to get it done. By then the summer grasses were waist high and my face was as red as that tractor. Ended up getting four full loads of ear corn with my big gravity wagon and a full load with my neighbor's small gravity wagon. I went out and decided to get the field picked off before this last snow storm at 34%. I grind about a batch of feed a week so I should have that all gone before warm weather comes.
Got my eyes on a Super M that my friends dad had. It wouldn't surprise me if they bought it new. I hope can work out something on that one.
I'm guessing your red face was from anger 😠... If you do end up with that super m, you're gonna be surprised at the power that little tractor has
@@FarmallFanatic it's been sitting for a while now but I have driven it back when it was regular use. If I can get it, it will be the fifth local tractor I've been able to get. We also have one on the dairy I help out on that we raked hay with and other jobs.
Yes I was pissed off and ended up buying a sprayer of my own and I'm looking into getting an applicators license.
even 1 set of wheel weights will make it look better.. i want more for my 1586. & could use a set for the 400.
Definitely
Whomever redid this Super MTA did a nice job on it for the most part..
Have you got a crank handle to crank start the SMT? Next question if do are you ready for the kick back? Nice video on the good looking tractor.
You can never be truly ready for the kickback... I just monkey grip it, so my thumbs not around the handle and cross my fingers
I need a SMTA again so badly i miss the one i used at the dairy farm i was working for
Took me a while to get one...not gonna part with it
@@FarmallFanatic They are like the OG muscle tractor for farmall. We used to use ours for raking hay, tedding, baling if we needed to get hay done fast so we had the smta on a john deere 224t and out 966 on the 336 baler and then hauling hay wagons and silage wagons with it. Just a perfect tractor
I am currently restoring a SMTA, the forth cylinder is locked, and the starter is shot. I can't find another starter like it. It also has a power steering unit from a Buick.
We have several places around here that rebuild starters
my dad tells me a story about plowing with one of those and switching gears and being on two wheels for a while
I've done it many times... There's a certain point where i'm no longer comfortable lol
Nice tractor Gino , I’ve heard people say the 400 was really the SMta is that true ? Thanks 🇺🇸
Basically...different sheet metal and the 400s were built 3 years instead of 1
I gotta get me a pull linkage parking brake thing for 1949 farmall M since my belly is getting bigger.😅
That's why I got it l o l
Thanks for the ride. Are you just a hobby farmer. ???
Only on youtube
What about a top condition 806 diesel for sale not far from you? Would that soothe your troubled brow?
How far are we talking?
The tires on this always look excessively crowned. My thought is that they are mounted on a narrower rim. We ran 15.5x38 Firestones on our 766, they never look crowded.
Nah these are on 14 inch rims...perfect for 15.5. 15.5x38 is not enough tire for a 766 in my opinion
@@FarmallFanatic. 766 came with a 18.x34. I can imagine those 15.5’s look out of place on it.
@@onehappyfarmer3461 my guess is you never farmed sugarbeets on 22 inch rows. 15.5 tires are the widest you see, most run 14.9 or more likely 13.6. During row crop work we ran singles, all other field work was with duals. We got pretty good at moving tires out to 88, back to 66 then add duals. We ran dual 13.6 on our 966 topping beets the rest of the year 18.4x38 duals.
@@FarmallFanatic always dualed for field work. Row crop low power work on singles.
@@challengerhitchman Oh I’m very familiar farming with narrow tires. Been on 20 inch corn and beans for 26 years. I understand you having 15.5’s. My apologies.
Where is the missiles
You told me they scare your dogs
Man she sure is sweet!!
I don't have a smta 😢
You gotta want it l o l
I thought I’d save money running 87 octane with ethanol. Poured in 5 gallons and it ate up the needle and the whole 5 gallons wound up on the ground. Lesson learned no more ethanol
Yeah, its those rubber tips on the needles.
Where did you get your manifold? I need to get one for my Ohio 4fiddy . Probably go to a LP manifold. Your MTA is looking good
Lesgo Brandon to ALL the deep state rhinos and Dems alike including the three letter agencies
I can't remember where I got it and yes you are correct
Beautiful tractor. I just had my choice between an M an H or a Massey Ferguson 65, I got the 65
Yeah now you can go back and get an m and an h
