I live for Melodylane and her theme song. Seriously though, your tutorials are the best there are. Cricut should hire you because you're just so clear and concise!
Have you ever used masking tape to lift up stencils and transfer them to surfaces? Masking tape works for vehicle stencils. I had seen it being done in a sign-making workshop years ago. Just put strips of masking tape in rows over the cut stencils and lift.
I know I've see this video before, but now I have the adhesive foil and wanted to watch it again before I use the foil. Can't thank you enough for all the information you share with everyone, Melody. I just finished a project with regular vinyl for my grandson's wall and what a project that was. Blue numbers on a white circle on an orange circle (Mets logo stuff), the orange being 11.5. Six of those with different numbers and words and I was swearing off vinyl for a while. lol. Thanks, Melody.
Hi, I wanted to know if this will stick on skin? I'm trying to make stencil sticker and use it for body paint and then remove the sticker. Do you think it will stick to skin so paint doesn't go under it?
Melody, do you have any tips to use vinyl foil. I made a small project for my daughter; I weeded the image but when it was time to put on transfer paper, it wouldn't stick to it. I had a very difficult time. Thank you so much for your videos.
Melody, can you use this technique with Cricut’s HTV? It’s hard to line up 2 different colors perfectly when using the iron on IF THEY DON’T INTERSECT ? I’ve watched so many vids, but there’s just not a great one out there? I did watch your slice technique:) Any techniques you might have up your purple sleeve for htv? Thank you so very much:)
Hi! :) What particular gold vinyl did you use? I've looked online for the Cricut metalic gold vinyl, but the pictures show it to be matte and dull looking - nothing like what you used here. Could you help?
Melody Lane- Where do you get the extra strong transfer tape, I have been unable to locate it. I've looked in all my craft shops and online @ Cricut.com. They don't state on the roll that it is extra strong. Help????
☆•WOW•☆ This looks like so much fun!! It isn't much different than normal graphic designing... I cannot wait to finally get one of my own!! Thanks Melody for another great video!!
Hi melody ! Quick question I'm wanting to make a mimosa bar sign on 12 x 12 cardstock , would I be able to use the foil on cardstock , or would I ruin the cardstock with the transfer paper ? Idk if that makes sense lol please help !?!? 😍
Love it!!!!!!! I just ordered the November mystery box using your code. Thank you for that!! I did not know that Cricut had foil until after I checked out and was browsing the site. I will definitely be ordering some soon!!!
@@melodylane man! I consider myself a creative person... I mean I went to the Art Institutes at one point and love gall things crafty. I had been out of the game for some time due to cash flow. Buuuuut then... I SEE THE CRICUT! (I believe I may have begun salivating at that point and it didn't stop for some time. **dabs face with towel**) So, I wait until the Maker arrives and hubby gets his tax return and he got me one. Well... I've made a shirt... a shirt, Melody. I've had it for about 8 months. o.O (love the shirt, yes, but I hate the software with a passion) and I've been staring at the thing for months. (h I made 2 decals too.) But I'm stuck. I feel like I Lost my creativity and I've never had an issue creating. This machine is just staring back at me. I have a room full of giant printers from poster size down, a sublimation printer, a heat press, about 40 blank shirts, umpteen rolls of vinyl, paper for card making.... extra Cricut maker blades I THOUGHT I'D USE, but which are still in their packages. I kinda wanna cry. I learn by example (in person) and doing. Learning via TH-cam and with no crafting community or friends in my new area (moved states) is no bueno. I dunno what to do. I want my craft room to look like YOURS, Melody! And I would like to know what I'm doing but I just keep acquiring stuff to "do" with but I don't "doooo". So, maybe I'll have a craft room like yours but that might be the extent of it! LAWL. I wish there were a "Crafting Institute". (There's an idea....maybe it's time to start one!) I dream of a business. I have lots to start with but no IDEA what I'm doing (which feels maddening). If you have any idea how I could get to know others (super safely) in my Texas area who come together to craft with this thing, I'd be delighted to know. Sorry for long message I was just siting here really REALLY frustrated. (I mean "You need to calm down, chica. You're gunna burst a vein in your eyeball." - type frustrated) then I saw this video and message. BTW... I like that you're so colorful. I'm a "gimme some rainbow bright" type hair gal too. Anyway, Novel over! May God bless you and thanks for sharing your excitement and color with all of us, even those of us who are sittin on our hands! :P
Jose Antonio Tabares, check canvas on the left side panel, under add text. Then, you should be able to pull up a canvas. Hope that helps. I have a Mac, that's how mine works.

I've been thinking of using the cricut foil to make a wall decal. Do you know if it's easy to peel off the wall if I want to change it out?

Hello! Can use glitter iron on layering with iron paper transfer?
can i add the foil adhesive to water bottle ?
Yes you can!
Since the star (registration mark) pulled up so easily, won't everything else? Did you not burnish them the same?
which blade did you use to cut the foil?
Can you use this with the htv adhesive for a shirt?
Yes, you can use it with Iron on!
MY cricut will not cut the foil proper I used the setting for foil adhesive but just doesn't cut clean. can't weed it
Judith Dreitzler I have the same issue 😞

Where did you buy transfer pepar?thanks
Let us know how long it lasts on your phone. Mine gets pulled in and out of my purse so often I think the foil would catch and come off.
How do you overlap iron foil?
My explorer is not cutting the foil all the way. What can I do??
So I tried using transfer tape but it did not work
I don't understand why u put the star for.
how well does this stick?
I missed, what the purpose of the star?
Is that paper transfer paper?
Hi Melody....Can I use Adhesive Foil on Cards?

Why my DS doesn't have any canvas? Do I have to purchase them?
Melody Lane I'm not I have an iMac, so when I click CANVAS it shows BLANK CANVAS, nothing else..
Jose Antonio Tabares, check canvas on the left side panel, under add text. Then, you should be able to pull up a canvas. Hope that helps. I have a Mac, that's how mine works.
