I used parchment paper to place over the foil. It took awhile to determine the correct heat but worked perfectly. Best not not to move the iron in circular movements just a firm downward pressure starting at the top and working downward. Didn't always have much luck with a laminator, kept missing spots.

Blessings just came across your video and I was amazed can you tell what foil is it can you use the wrapping foil for gifts just let no what can I use and thanks for sharing
Hi Karen. The foil is special heat reactive foil. You can get it from craft stores. It definitely needs to be this special foil though. I hope that helps!
I think that fuse tool would be a great way to use the scraps left over from larger projects. I never throw my scrap foil away. I always stick bits of it onto other projects. I'm kinda frugal I guess?
it's a good idea to save them stacy @ scrapbookingmadesimple has a you tube on how to use every tint bit left on your foil sheets onto another project, if I ever get enough little bits of color, I'm going to do a Christmas tree with a ton of ornaments and lights all in many differentshiny colors
@@24get24give you can gold or any color foil with a tackle half dried glue on anything..frames, tins, plastic anything without heat using real gold foil and glue and brush. Heat foiling is a new expensive money taker. Look up gold leaf online or Etsy, Amazon.
I got my first heat foil in the early 90’s when we got a mono laser printer. I love that you can again get the foil - I have a stash now! LoL! The bit with the glue-stick looks more like a lot of gold/metal leaf looks. Gold was applied over a reddish color traditionally - I think to make it easier to see missed spots. There has been a glue ink pad although i don’t know if it is still made. You can use it with stamps. :D I also have some heat-activated glue for fabric, which again, I don’t know if it is still available. I do love glittery sparkle! you can paint glue on with a brush - the kind used for metal leafing. It stays tacky for a long time which is why it works so well. SO many things that are possible!
Thank you. Was about to purchase a laminate.... but I am going to hold on that and use a heater. Trying to just foil a business logo on a business card. That technique is perfect for me.
Hi there. I've never tried with any other colour other than black from a laser printer, but I can't see why not. As long as its toner ink it should react.
Thanks for sharing your cool experiment. I like distressed-looking foiling and I really liked the glue stick result. Foiling is such a fun effect to add to so many thing! Thanks again for sharing. :-)
thank you for this video, i have been attempting to learn how to use or apply foil laminate, in order to revamp some emblems from my car, as the foil laminate (ill assume thats what it is) has weathered and become worn and some has come off, and my cheapo single temp heat gun blew up on me last week, so its great to learn that i can use an iron or other around the house items to apply the foils thanks
THANK YOU FOR THE INFORMATIVE VIDEO!! I would like to know as well, if you need to apply the foil immediately after printing? I don't have a printer at home so I need get it printed outside first.😕
Sadly inkjet printers do not use toner. However Some copy machines do and so if you say printed out a sheet via your inkjet printer in black print or design or outline shapes you can take to a copy machine or to Kinkos or similar copy shop and ask them to print it out in toner and return home to foil with those copies. Hope that helps out those who do not have a laser printer or laser copy machine. (I just bought a tiny older model but brandnew Brother laser just so I could play with foiling and cardmaking etc. I am thrilled so far with results. Hubby had an over 24 year old monochrome laser printer that he upgraded last year to color laser and those also work with foiling across any of the colors as it does not have to be black to react with toner sensitive foils. Anyway his new printer is sensitive and does not like cardstock. He could no longer find cartridges for his older one also a bit touchy with cardstock so I finally searched and found this printer for less than 90 dollars brandnew and small tiny foot print too. I love it and allows so far for me to pass cardstock straight through without bending to pop out the top. It's been fun foiling with a laminator to date. Yes I went with the monochrome non wifi model but they make the same machine in a wifi for 79 more dollars and a color version and a wee bit bigger for 100 plus more. I decided we don't need two color lasers and I wanted the smallest with good reviews. Funny the manufacturer said the machine was not compatible with cardstock. The bullet points listed when I bought it said it was as did some reviews so I bought it and it's great and for less than 35 dollars I bought a set of 4 full size toner cartridges generic that should last me years even though I've been playing with full sheet black out toner and foiling the entire sheet then die cutting out the plastic foiled cardstock. I found both 65 and 85 pound smooth white cardstock has been great to tone and foil this way. Did not try 110# or higher yet. I'm so pleased I doubt I'll want to go up in thickness.. Anyway a lot of paper crafters have access to copy centers in more populated areas. We live in rural Montana near Canada border and nearest would be 100 miles away. And just not worth the fuss involved at that distance. But great option for others who have one in their neighborhood so to speak.) Also I printed toner on a medium rasberry cardstock not hot pink but deeper than regular pink cardstock and foiled it and it was beautiful. I was making tags for a friend who sells sock gnomes. I just had to cut out two circles back to back using one round die cut shape that allowed me to have perfect sized circles for each side. I foiled the gnome drawing on one circle and wrote text on the other and foiled both. Had 8 tags on one sheet of 8.5 x 11 inch paper/cardstock. Cut each out with circle. Glued half way end of tags leaving a way to pop open top of the two to insert a ribbon or string to use to attach to a gnome for sale. These were not price tags but more ID tags from the seller's point of view. So one side said Peace Makers by....her name with a Peace sign in the center that foiled slightly different color than the full text in the circle I designed. Which made it really more interesting and neater. On the flip side then was a little foiled gnome drawing (I had 3 different gnome drawings in a thick outline like shape.) then I colored in all their noses and a few the dots and stripes left white on their hats and robes. They were adorable and the sparkled foils I opted for tiny star patterns and small blue blosoms for one foil just worked out really neat. I used rainbow foil for some and solids for others but the textured or tiny printed like stars worked the best as these were small tags. About 2 inches. I am making a larger size more fill in foil for a friend using a Boston French bulldog like design for her handmade yarn goods. That's my next project this week.) Anyway lots of ideas here for foiling using toner even if you don't have a laser printer...you can design on your computer and print out on your inkjet in blackwhite and take to a copy center that uses TONER copy machines and or can copy and print via toner laser printers for you. I recommend you test one or two designs before going all out to insure you do get great results. Some centers allow you to use your own paper or cardstocks too others require the options they sell you. So that varies from business to business. Good luck.
Did you print your original papers on an inkjet printer or on a laser printer? And have you tried stamping and then foiling or stamping with glue and then foiling?
Hi Cindy. These kinds of foil need to be used with laser toner to react, but I have tried lots of different ways to foil. Check out my foiling playlist for them all! Thanks for watching!
Thanks so much for risking it all in the name of art! It encourages the timid amongst us to try some new things! I don’t have a laminator (budget) so its nice to know i could use an iron! From a few things i read seemed to say glue with high tack is good with foil. One thing i think makes your foiled fuse squibles better than markers is that you can’t get the shiny reflectivity with markers that you got with fuse + foil. 👍👍
can you foil over any printed (laser or inkjet) design..if you have a background colour and black writing will it adhere to everything or just the black?
Hi Sophie. It needs to be printed with a laser printer. I haven't tried too much colour and then black, but you'd need to print the colour with an inkjet and then the writing with a laser for it to work. I hope that helps!
As someone said, you can use double sided adhesive sheets to cut out shapes, but besides freehand cutting, you can use a craft punch, manual or electric die cutter to get a shape or text to foil. Other foils that work with these adhesive sheets are Couture Creations, Jones Tones, Art Accentz Foilz, and icraft Decofoil by Thermoweb, who also have meltable adhesive sheets that work with foil for fabric. You can also buy adhesive craft foam to foil for a raised effect, or make you own, using adhesive sheets over the craft foam before cutting. You can apply adhesive over mini wooden or chipboard embellishments to foil them. Most of these are good ways to use up small scraps of unused foil.
Have you not looked at Teflon oven Liners? I use them for sublimation and they're great at distributing the heat more evenly. May help with foiling through the laminator.
I'm new to foiling and don't know anything about it , on the paper that has Dream Printed On it , was it sticky ? I don't understand how it stuck to it 🥰
Hi Susana. For the foil to transfer, you need to use a laser printer. The Toner in those kind react with the foil and thats what makes it stick. I hope that helps!
There with a steam iron, you do have to make sure the areas where the holes are given heat. When I was growing up, my mother had jut a non-steam iron which would be perfect for this!
What about using a Xron sticker maker? Either fussy cut the item or if you have a cutter making the shape and running it through the sticker maker and foil that?
Tally I just got an image in my head of you heatfoiling shoes, cake box, ties, books, doors because that is what I did decades ago when I discovered stamps and embossing powder. Lol. It is heaven when your head is spinning with ideas and creativity, isn’t it? 😍
Hey there, pages need to all be printed with a laser printer as it is the toner from the printer that reacts with the foil. Thanks so much for watching!
Hi, first thanks for showing the different ways to hot foils. I have a question about the nail foils.. they look the same, but do they tranfer with heating too?? I want to buy a hot foil machine, for my sentiments on making cards... and i have many nail foils, bught from aliexpress.. but not sure if i can use them..
you probably could, if they are heat reactive, or if they're on a carrier sheet (like couture creations, deco foilyou , and I'm not sure who else's can try using them w/ double stick tape, a glue pad, or pen or just painting on some regular glue, let it get a bit tacky, whichever kind of glue you use then press your foil down well and then lift it off to reveal a perfectly foiled sentiment, if you're not getting good results w/glue, run the paper through your die machine w/o a die for the added pressure
Some of the nail foils work, some the heat transfers ALL the foil, not just to the toner, and the only way to know is to try them. But even the ones that transfer all the foil work really well with the glue that stays a little tacky when dry (Tombow Mono Multi is one) or with Scor-tape (racing stripes!)
Hi There. I'm not so sure with nail foils as I've never used them. The tips from the wonderful peeps below should have helped though. As Cheryl said, if you're using glue the foil will usually transfer very well. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge 💕 I do not work with cardboard or paper, my crafts are in fabrics and vinyl, imitation leather, I am looking for how to stamp names manually. The freehand technique with hot soldering iron or electric pencil is great 😍 what temperature do I need so that the Foil paper doesn't burn??? thanks for your advice greetings from Costa Rica 🇨🇷 Gracias por compartir tus conocimientos 💕 Yo no trabajo con cartulina ni papel mis manualidades son en telas y vinil, polipiel estoy buscando como estampar nombres en forma manual. La técnica de mano alzada con cautín caliente o lápiz eléctrico está genial😍que temperatura necesito para que no queme el papel Foil??? gracias por tus consejos saludos desde Costa Rica 🇨🇷
I've never had the foil paper burn on me.. but I do play with paper so that might be different. I think that the manufactures wouldn't make it so it got that hot. I think the best way is to just give it a go and see what happens, that's always my best advice! Good luck!
If you want to do more of a shape with the glue method, you can use a stencil and the dot glue. It won't be solid (though you cooould probably roll over more to fill in more spots but the dots are cute so why would you), but you can get the shape.
I know this message is a year later for this video, but I like that this video is still available for us people who see the foil but can't afford to buy just one more tool for crafting! LOL... but after seeing the one with the glue - I think if you had a glue stick that was like a pen - then you could write with it and set it aside.... or for the fuse tool - it reminds me a lot of a wood burner. I have a wood burner that is dual or multi-usage, because it has temperature gauge. I know I can use it with regular foil and wood burning as well as embossing powders. These newer foils have that plastic or vinyl that they are on, so I often wondered... I guess I will just have to test that type of foil with my woodburner and see how it does compared with my other foil, that is well... on foil.
I have recently purchased a Quickie Glue Pen which is working pretty well for just adding a fine lines of glue. A wood burner I think would also work, I just don't have one so I cant't experiment with it! Thanks so much for watching. I always leave my videos up so you can enjoy them forever! :)
Hey there, I am sure you could but I don't have a wood burner so I can't try. I would think anything that was hot and the heat can be controlled would work. Thanks for commenting!
Hi Tiyasha. It is a regular print out, its just printed with toner ink from a laser printer. The toner reacts with the foil which makes it stick! Hope that helps!
Hey Georgia, thanks for commenting. It is just black laser (or toner) ink on the page. Then it's just adding the foil. Very easy if you have the right printer.
Nice to know that we can use an iron. I have never used foil... yet. Thanks for sharing this DIY video. I do love your accent too :) I think everyone has an iron in the cupboard.
When I try foiling with the iron method it doesn’t do anything aside from making the foil curl from the heat afterwards. Nothing gets transferred despite having max heat and pressing really hard for several minutes. Any guesses on what’s going wrong there? I have to do this for a commission.
Hi 3, I am so sorry for the delay in my reply. What did you print with. It has to be a printed from a laser printer for this to work. I hope that helps!
@@PlumMashable already firgured it out, didn't know back then that it only works with laser printers. Luckily I had an old one in storage so I used that. Unfortunately I did have to find a different method for my project after all. (Making Stamps)
How cool IS THAT? Oh yes it is. I just happen to have a FUSE Tool set too and have never used it. Now I may have to get out some foils and play about. I'm not sure about the foil you are using however. Textile toner foil might foil better when you are using the toner/laser blacked out rectangles. The foil is a bit different product and maybe you'd see a bit of a difference then too. I've got both types of foils however. I don't have minc but do have two similarly sold foils plus a 16 different textile/toner foil rolls so lots of foil to play with. Your demo's today are sure to get my mind wanting to try your methods out plus more. I have an old hair straightener tool but never use it for my hair. But not impressed with it as a laminator/foiling tool either. I have one of the WeRMemory foiling free style pens too besides the Fuse Tool set. So I suspect some wood burning tools if they have a means to control the temperature might also work for free style foiling. Plus there are specialized design tips that might be really fun to use. I gifted my hubby with a woodburning tool 8 years ago and I think it came with some fancy tips too. Off to search in his tools for that. (Hey he grabbed hold of my fancy top of the line jigsaw saw years ago and I've never been able to pry it away from him long enough to use so after 50 years together we share in a round about way:)) He gets to use and play with all my laminating and binding punches and supplies so we do share. He just ground down these terrible dashes/dots on a new die cutter I bought that interfered on how big I could make my cards. really it was so limiting had they left those off I could do far more wonderful things with the die. So that was so sweet of him. I foiled a whole sheet of toner black paper I'd run through my laser and then cut out designs with this new die. Really came out adorable and the lamination was like platicized the whole entire sheet of paper. Cut beautifully too. And the dies were the thin ones with slight embossing in some areas. So I'm now wanting to try this with the textile/toner foils with the Fuse tool and freestyle pen. Thanks for your shares and vidoes.
It's great to hit the stash and see what you have sometimes that might do the job instead of buying something new. I definitely need to experiment more with different foils though! Thanks for the tip!

It was awesome to hear a fellow Aussie! Most of the crafters I watch on TH-cam are from the US, it’s hard to find Aussie craft channels. Definitely a new subscriber here. Thanks For sharing ❤️🇦🇺
So glad you found me and enjoy the channel!
I loved those silver stars in the black sky...✨😀😀👌🏼✨
They did turn out very pretty! :)
I keep most of my scraps too! I haven't thought of using it in the Christmas tree though! Thats awesome!
I keep scraps too @Lisa Leone! Nothing wrong with being frugal!
@@24get24give you can gold or any color foil with a tackle half dried glue on anything..frames, tins, plastic anything without heat using real gold foil and glue and brush. Heat foiling is a new expensive money taker. Look up gold leaf online or Etsy, Amazon.
Can we use a heat press? If so, what temperature and how much time?
Oooh.. I never tried a heat press. I'll have to give that a go! Just give it a go, its a lot of fun trying and failing! :D
Do you need to use laser printer? Would inkjet printer work?
Thank you. You answered a lot of questions that I had. Thank you
So glad to have been of help! :)
@Melissa Sullivan I actually have a couple of empty ink pads - I forgot I had them! Thanks!
Wow. What great info. Isn't it funny how crafting trends go away and come back again!
Great tip Melissa!
Ha! I am so looking forward to packing up my craft room just to see what I actually do have!
You can also use the blue glue. Let it dry clear and then rub over the foil.
Great tip Cherrie! Thanks!
Been foiling years before "Foiling Machines" came along. Keep watching Utube before wasting money on faughty heat foilers.
Blue glue?
Hi, how does the foil just stick to the lettering? I’m confused 😬
Fab vid, what printer did you use for the dreams Dos? X
I used a Brother HL-L2305 Laser Printer
Thank you. Was about to purchase a laminate.... but I am going to hold on that and use a heater. Trying to just foil a business logo on a business card. That technique is perfect for me.
Glad I could help Tricia!
Will a toner color other than black work?
Thanks so much Deborah! I love to experiment with things!
Do try it with laminating machine as that have even heat n consistent movement.
Also can try it out using a bottom of a heated pan (flat type)
Thanks for the comment! xx
An electric wood burning pen would be so fun. There are so many shapes and sizes of tips! 🤯😋
I would have to see if I can find one, but great suggestion!
thank you for this video, i have been attempting to learn how to use or apply foil laminate, in order to revamp some emblems from my car, as the foil laminate (ill assume thats what it is) has weathered and become worn and some has come off, and my cheapo single temp heat gun blew up on me last week, so its great to learn that i can use an iron or other around the house items to apply the foils
thanks
These will only work with heat reactive foil on toner ink. I don't think they'll use on emblems on your car. Just be careful.
THANK YOU FOR THE INFORMATIVE VIDEO!!
I would like to know as well, if you need to apply the foil immediately after printing? I don't have a printer at home so I need get it printed outside first.😕
No worries at all. I've never had an issue with waiting to foil it. You could wait days or weeks in my experience :) Good luck!
Loved the whole of it!! I'm definitely gonna try these out. Here's a question, would an inkjet printer work for the first technique you used?
Hi there. Unfortunately, you must use a laser printer for the foil to stick. It's the toner in the ink that reacts. Have fun!
@@PlumMashable 😪
I just
had to cut out two circles back to back using one round die cut shape that allowed me to have perfect sized circles for each side. So one side said Peace Makers by....her name with a Peace sign
in the center that foiled slightly different color than the full text in the circle I designed. Which made it really more
interesting and neater.
Thank you for clarifying for me.
Ha! It was fun! I did have to ask very nicely for permission to use the iron though in case I did ruin it! Thanks for the tip with the fuse tool! xxx
can you foil over any printed (laser or inkjet) design..if you have a background colour and black writing will it adhere to everything or just the black?
Excellent tips! Thanks.
Fantastic tips Kathy! Thanks so much for sharing them!
Have you not looked at Teflon oven Liners? I use them for sublimation and they're great at distributing the heat more evenly. May help with foiling through the laminator.
I haven't looked at those Gary, but that is a great idea! I'll have a look into them. Thanks so much!
Can I use my injet printer or my sublimation printer to do the foiling ? Plz help
May i ask how to do a pattren in foil that you can watch a different shape from different angel like holographic or lenticular but on foil
Love your video ! Would a laminator be too much like a mink machine to count !
A laminator is where all these ideas came from. Check out this video to see how I foil using a laminator th-cam.com/video/BNBvNzvJGH0/w-d-xo.html
Question, does it work only with laser print? or it works with inject prints too??
Hi Waleska. Thanks for the comment. It has to be laser prints, its the toner ink that reacts with the foil and the heat. I hope that clarifies :D
I'm new to foiling and don't know anything about it , on the paper that has Dream Printed On it , was it sticky ? I don't understand how it stuck to it 🥰
Hi Becka. There is no sticky there, it's just that the foil reacts with the toner ink that comes from a laser printer. I hope that helps! xx
Hola en qué impresora hizo lás impresiones? Muy bueno él vídeo
Hi Susana. For the foil to transfer, you need to use a laser printer. The Toner in those kind react with the foil and thats what makes it stick. I hope that helps!
When you use the iron, don’t move it over the sheet because the foil will move. Just pressure and heat.
There with a steam iron, you do have to make sure the areas where the holes are given heat. When I was growing up, my mother had jut a non-steam iron which would be perfect for this!
Thanks for the tip Deanna!
We have a heat press now too that I should give a go with foil... hmm.. ideas! Thanks for commenting Kathleen!
Have you tried wide width tear and tape instead of the little dispenser? Thanks for sharing, I’m going to find my iron again and try it.
I haven't tried that, bit I'll do some investigating. Thanks for the suggestion!
Did you use a laser printer or an inkjet please?
Hey Sylvia. You need to use a laser printer for the foil to adhere. Hope this helps!
Thank you so much for getting back to me x
What about using a Xron sticker maker? Either fussy cut the item or if you have a cutter making the shape and running it through the sticker maker and foil that?
Ohh.. I didn't think of that. I'll give that a try and report back!
You can foil with stamps using clear embossing, it works great!
Oh now you're giving me ideas!!! Thanks so much Dawn!
@@PlumMashable i bought clear embossing 4 days ago to try xD i'm in a crazy foil situation this week on every possible methods to applicate foil xD

Love it at 2:40 when you see how much dust is on the iron- really not kidding about not using it!
No idea the last time I used one. Fortunately, the husband has gotten a job now where he kinda has to, so at least it's not wasted! he he he
iron didnt work. idk what else to do. id rather not spend money on another tool for the cricut but i just spent money on stuff that didnt work.
Hi thank you for the video!
what setting was the iron? 🙏🥲
Hi KtrannPikachu. I had it on the highest setting, cotton I think and with no steam options.
Hi did you use any special ink?
I'm new to all this, does the pages need to be printed on ink-jet or does laser work aswell?
Hey there, pages need to all be printed with a laser printer as it is the toner from the printer that reacts with the foil. Thanks so much for watching!
Thank you for sharing. Instead of tape dispenser. Double sided tape works a treat. And even better with a laminater
Oooh... I'll have to try that. Thanks Catherine!
@@PlumMashable there are videos how to use the lamator and easy glue to use as the foiling tack. Find instructions also on Amazon.
have you thought about using a easy press, with parchment paper?
I have thought about it Bonnie. I don't have an Easy Press yet.. I wish I had one :(
Can I print it out and do the foiling later? Or does it effect the foiling if there's a time lag between them
Hi. I've never had any issue with printing and then foiling later. As long as it's with the laser printer, you'll be fine! :) Have Fun!
I’m confused do you need a lazer printer ? I only have an ink jet printer
But even the ones that transfer all the foil
work really well with the glue that stays a little tacky when dry (Tombow Mono Multi is one) or with Scor-tape (racing stripes!)
Hi There. I'm not so sure with nail foils as I've never used them. The tips from the wonderful peeps below should have helped though. As Cheryl said, if you're using glue the foil will usually transfer very well. Thanks for watching!
I used the fuse tool but it burned the foil (same with the plastic to make a fused pocket), it make holes on the foil. Or it was too hot?
Try not holding it there for quite as long. You need to be pretty quick with using the tool. Hope that helps!
Thanks. I will try again.
What printer din you use to print that words in paper and what paper???
Question I want to know if I could use the foil dies without a heat tool ??
Hey Maxine, I am not sure what you mean by foil dies?
Great video. What all does the foil stick to?
The foil sticks to the toner. When you heat it up it then reacts. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge 💕 I do not work with cardboard or paper, my crafts are in fabrics and vinyl, imitation leather, I am looking for how to stamp names manually. The freehand technique with hot soldering iron or electric pencil is great 😍 what temperature do I need so that the Foil paper doesn't burn??? thanks for your advice greetings from Costa Rica 🇨🇷

I've never had the foil paper burn on me.. but I do play with paper so that might be different. I think that the manufactures wouldn't make it so it got that hot. I think the best way is to just give it a go and see what happens, that's always my best advice! Good luck!
which printer did u use to print the sheets???
Amazing!!! I love it!!! I love it!!! I love it!!!
Thanks CJ! :D
If you want to do more of a shape with the glue method, you can use a stencil and the dot glue. It won't be solid (though you cooould probably roll over more to fill in more spots but the dots are cute so why would you), but you can get the shape.
Is that a soldering iron or a special quill pen?
It's an old We R Memory Keepers item called the fuse tool. They now have more specialised foiling tools, so check them out!
Just a simple question did you use a laser printer or inkjet to print out your sheets ? Really enjoy your videos TFS

Thanks so much Dibright! I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
ditto!
Thanks for your suggestion.
I was wondering if I could use my wood burner also...
Hey there, I am sure you could but I don't have a wood burner so I can't try. I would think anything that was hot and the heat can be controlled would work. Thanks for commenting!
Is it's just a regular print out? How is it sticking just to the letters and not the rest of the paper?
Curious for a project.
Hi Tiyasha. It is a regular print out, its just printed with toner ink from a laser printer. The toner reacts with the foil which makes it stick! Hope that helps!
Really great video! Is it just black ink printed on paper your using on the dream then do words, or do you coat them in something before foiling..?
Hey Georgia, thanks for commenting. It is just black laser (or toner) ink on the page. Then it's just adding the foil. Very easy if you have the right printer.
This is awesome! My cheapie laminator does not do well at all so I am going to try my iron!
As long as you're careful, there is no reason why you can't use anything heated!!
Nice to know that we can use an iron. I have never used foil... yet. Thanks for sharing this DIY video. I do love your accent too :) I think everyone has an iron in the cupboard.
I never use my iron. It's seriously a complete waste of space! But so glad you loved the video! :)
the paper with the Dream then Do Dream is not printed from a Laser printer, correct?
The paper is printed from a laser.. it has to be to react with the foil. I hope that helps.
Hi, do use some spacial paper or ink? I see you to from Argentina.
Paper is normal, any kind of paper will work. Ink must be from a laser printer as its the toner that reacts with the foil. Hope that helps x
The heat pen tool thing would be cool to make foil signatures!
It would. There are now actual foil quills that will do that quite nicely.
@@PlumMashable oh cool!
Hi. Can this work too using a sublimation printed paper?
Hi Jad. I've not had any experience with sublimation paper so I'm not quite sure. Sorry I can't be of more assistance.
WRMK have heat resistant stencils for the fuse tool. Thanks for sharing
Oh! I'll have to check them out. Thanks for that Angela!
(Making Stamps)
can u use without laser printer? just a normal print?
Hi Shenny. No, it has to be a laser printer as the toner reacts with the foil. Thanks for watching!
Lol😂! "I've found a use for my iron!" 😂
