WOW!! Between you and Danny no wonder you get so much done! You are both incredibly hard workers!!! I’m so glad you found one another definitely two people meant to be! God bless!🥰❤️🍁🇨🇦🙏🏻
Thank you Mrs. Wanda, I'll be saving my apple peelings next year and follow the recipe. Beautiful display board you used also, I remember the log that it came from. It was from the garden area of an older home in Nashville.
I could tell those are good apples from the crunchy sound while you were cutting them up. Yummy goodness for sure. Thank you for sharing this information.
You can store apples in your fridge for a few months, in the crisper. I also store apples in my basement. Like a root cellar, it is unfinished.they will keep for months. Individually wrapped in restaurant basket paper. In a tote. Just go through them here and there and throw out the bad apples. You individually wrap them, cause you know, one bad apple will spoil the bunch. My aunt wrapped them in newspsper, put them in a barrel in the barn, that is how they always did it back in the day. I've found that the restaurant wrappers keep the apples fresher longer, imo.
Hello, Wanda, wondering if anyone else noticed this? I did right away, the “sound” of you slicing through those honey crisp apples that they were This Year’s fresh crop! I might have to order some for myself, I really love a good sweet apple, which are very hard to come by, grocery stores fall short of this! Thanks for sharing this , company with us. 🍎
I put up 8 cases of ambrosia, red delicious, and granny smiths this year. I know I'll be grateful that they are ready to go, but I am so glad apple season is over! That was a lot of work! 😂I didn't save the peels this year, I gave them to the goats and chickens who enjoyed them very much! Shalom
Good morning. Apple peels will do that next year. Have 2 people to get organic apples from. Just. Have to pick your self. Made vinegar with peels this year. Nice video
Good morning Wanda from ontario canada I'm so glad to see you doing cooking videos again, you are a great teacher. You look amazing in your new kitchen thank you so much for taking the time to do videos the apples look amazing take care and God bless
Looks great Wanda! We did Apple sauce a couple of weeks ago, next up are Apple slices like you did. Fortunately we have quite a few orchards in our area, one is just 10 minutes down the road. Since I'm going to do slices I'm going to try out the peel recipe, they sound good for a snack 👍💝💝
Liquid Motivation - I like it. Thumbs up. I made vinegar for the 1st time this year using the apple cores and peelings and it turned out amazing. Now I'm going to have to make those candy apple peelings you made they look and sound sooooo good.
I know that there are varieties of apples that will grow and bear fruit in the Deep South. I’m having to make sure that the varieties are adapted to heat and humidity, because some varieties are adapted to hot and dry conditions.
Lovin' this video, we absolutely love the dried apple peels, the only thing that we do differently is to add about a tablespoon of our homemade maple syrup to the peels. We were wondering what you use the canned sliced apples all for? You had mentioned that you do the med syrup for recipes later, be sure to let us know all the ways that you use the canned apple slices. Thank you again for a wonderful, informational video~! We didn't get many apples this year, but we will be or sure canning and making dried peels next year~!~!

Good Morning from Central Missouri!
Awesome thanks for the video
I hope I get my apples before they run out of them

Morning
Great video!
❤❤❤Yumminess!!!
Looks awesome! Ops Good Morning :)
GOOD MORNING MS WANDA, WHERE DID YOU GET YOUR STAINLESS SPOON FOR DIPPING YOUR SYRUP
Don't know Danny had them when we got married.
Yum!
Are you going to be freeze drying any of your apples? I know that raw apples freeze and thaw into mush.
Did the one's you left sitting that cut start to brown even a little? They've got gmo apple's out now that don't oxide when you cut or peel.
These are all non GMO organic apples
I put lemon juice on mine or citric acid. They don't turn. But some i cut one day, i didn't put anything on and they turn brown.
I just canned apple slices in no sugar... just water and citric acid
Nice👍💕💕nj
Yummy!
So which apples were your favorite?
Only boil the apples 5 minutes? There is a exceptional amount of air in apples and that doesn't seem to be quite long enough.
Good Morning, yes the standard time for apples in a simple syrup ranges from 20 to 30 minutes depending on size jars, pints are 20/25 minutes for water bath canning🌷
Ball canning book. Apple slices 5 minutes in syrup and pints 20 to 25 minutes in boiling water bath
Looks like sugar in the raw
