How to remove Genesis Coupe door handle(includes side mirror, door trim window trim and window)

1st I want to say Thank you for explaining the right way to remove it and replace it,but I did it just by removing the top Door trim,and I skinny screw driver about 1ft long n I popped the connector...works the same way n took me about 10min

Actually I dose same way all the time but I just want to not show cut way to people who goes to do it for first time than later they can figure it out by themselves

@@djent4life178 no you don't have to,either put the window up or down depending on what's easier for you but you don't have to remove it

@@wickdwrapz5268 it’s the same process for reconnecting the harness right? Either raise or lower the window depending on which gives you better access?

@@djent4life178 yes same thing just go backwards on your steps,don't over thigh bolts and make sure you test everything before you actually put door panel back

It has only one side rail which is on left side so first match glass with rail and than other side will going down by itself than check holders brackets at the bottom if it matches well time to put bolts are on ( left and right side bolts looks different) after everything done pull window up and down to see everything works well

Once it’s plugged to the new door handle, can I press and locks it and unlocks it? Or I have to still take it to the dealership and get it programmed?

Do I have to dissemble everything if am going to swap the complete door ? Someone brake in my car obviously they smashed my window so I found this génesis owner that is willing to swap the whole door but am trynna see if I can just unscrew the door by the harnesses? Instead of removing all door panel

i did this but the bottom big screw on door that holds window when down became misaligned cause i took out all the screws

Adjust it well and hold it by ur hand from behind and at the same time screw the bolt back
Definitely ask for other hand to help u

Your video sucks you don’t need to remove window for trim or take off the metal piece for the handles
