My Dad worked 2 jobs for 35 plus years. One state job and a county job. When he was forced to retire bc of cancer, we didn't know, but he lost his life insurance. All because he wasn't a current employee. We barely had enough to pay for the funeral. My mother is still paying on a joint credit card from ten years ago with him. We literally had nothing left and he never got to enjoy his retirement because he died Sept 5, 2013. It's all a set up. I totally agree with you. None of them care about us. We have to start caring about each other. ❤

I’m so very sorry to hear of your experience, your father was a HERO! I’d give anything to have had the experience of someone like your father. It’s no ones fault, it’s the system, it’s most definitely set up for failure, and all the taxes that we all pay when they can print money, nothing makes sense. At least you had a father that focused on his family, my father was addicted to gambling. He’s in his late 80’s and has nothing to his name, he worked his ass off for all the wrong reasons. Guess who takes car of him now…my oldest sister carries a lot of the weight and she and I help financially. There’s no way they could survive without all the help. Your mother should talk to a lawyer if she hasn’t already, theirs something on hardship if I’m not mistaken. Also, you can negotiate with the hospital to bringing down your payments, in case you didn’t know. Life is most definitely a struggle, however theirs so many great things about humans, we can sometimes be resilient if we know how to navigate. People in the world are genuinely good, here we are wishing you a path of greatness, please stand for the fight, I have to do it everyday. 💕💕💕✊

Sure he might be throwing rocks at elitists but he's also serving the interests of the folks he rails against by punching down on welfare recipients who are just as poor and put upon as him. I've never seen so much UNITY come from the original song by Oliver Anthony, and this remix is the best so far to bring it to more people of different musical tastes and different cultures.

The original touched me so deeply. All of us are struggling. I have changed jobs twice and while I'm making more, I can't get out on my own. My dad wouldn't make it without my help either. My grandparents had their own home by my age, and they could travel. They worked up until the last years of their lives, but they had trips they could take, and health insurance. I don't have either and it kills me that I won't be able to leave anything for my nephew and nieces

Work before having kids teach your kids that. Working 12 hour shifts with kids and spouse w no time to spend as a family. To tired to move with the kids and spouse making each other feel guilty. broke people need to blame themselves for thinking marriage will last. This has nothing to do with the bible or faith, this is bad decision making from the lack of education early in life.
Please don't change jobs chaing money try and chase your dream you'll never have enough money we can only look for happiness and that's not in a dollar....I hope you figure either out and make it all work

You're most certainly not the only one! When i first heard Rich men north of Richmond, i was hoping that Dax would do a Remix. He writes lyrics(with substance) that resonate and inspire so many people. He's making an impact and healing us at the same time! I heard you mention that we need a platform where you're free to speak your mind without fear of censorship. I see a lot of youtubers/creators also posting on Rumble, as you can speak freely without the worry of "am i going to get demonetized, a strike against my channel, or banned? all for speaking my opinion. I watch a few over there. Stevie Knight's, Black pegasus and a few other's. Just a thought.
This song is so incredible an instant classic for all of the working class and dax took it and gave it such an amazing take on the song
