I don't actually agree with this. There are many players that worked much harder than these guys and didn't even make it to the NFL. You think Randy Moss and Deion Sanders were just staying home working on their abilities rather than going out and having fun? When we played intramural flag football, he took my head off without even trying. Just a giant, and gifted. We called him Neck, due to his apparent lack of a neck.

Just to clarify, quarterbacks don't necessarily have to be tall/big. The passing yards leader all time is Drew Brees who is 5'10" which is considered short for a quarterback. The Arizona Cardinals QB is Kyler Murray who is 5"9' and he's a top half QB when not injured. Some QBs like Michael Vick and Lamar Jackson are genetic freaks who play a totally different game than others at the same position. However, QBs often aren't the "best athlete" on their team, it's just the most "specialized" position in that you have to have a specific skillset.

HIstoically prototype QBs need to be tall but that changes as the game evolves. Same thing that you now have small players play WR when back in the day guys of that size would have had next to no chance of making the NFL.

I watched Bo Jackson in both Football and Baseball and he was simply unbelievable! You could not believe your eyes at times since he was huge and had unreal speed.

I guess someone like me, seeing, knowing of and being part Native American, (Cherokee and Choctaw) African American, and European American, helps many of us know he is just by looking.
Some people of color say "We can recognize our own", and in my personal experience, it's pretty accurate. Someone may look white to many, but to many others, facial features, undertones of skin color, and hair texture can be quite noticeable and tell that a person is "of color".

Oh, please. You can't speak for "every white dude", and it's definitely not true that _every_ man who is white claims to be Native American. I've never known anyone in the US who is from Europe, claim to be Native American, but I don't know _every_ man like you do.
Also, if the names are listed within any records to prove someone is of any part Native American, they're seen as such.
There are many people who are half or less and are recognized by their Indigenous people.

Jim Thorpe, a Native American (Indian) was a great athlete who went on to become head coach of the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame. In many towns he was forbidden to room with teammates. He persevered and went on to being the best athlete of his generation.
Hey fun fact, Bo ripped his hip out of socket. Doctor's at the time didn't even know that was possible. That's how explosive he was.
Bo's hip had to be replaced with an artificial hip. During his recovery, Jackson developed a bone disease called avascular necrosis (AVN).
I once heard there was a reporter doing an interview with Bo in Auburn, AL before his senior season maybe, and he said he lost count of how many flies he caught with his hands just sitting in the dorm doing the interview.

Seems like a super obvious selection, as he is one of very few players that other players were actually terrified of (especially quarterbacks). Facts, Polamalu was absurdly athletic. You know you have a freak when the opposing offense has to be worried about ands game plan for what you bring. 4.3 speed, hit like a linebacker, has hands like a wide receiver, and the best pure football instincts I’ve ever seen. Extremely difficult to game plan against Troy because he was so intellectual and instinctual.
