Damn, I remember being a Knick fan watching Kenny play for the Nets in the early 90s. I honestly thought he was going to end up in the HOF, he was so talented not just physically but he had tremendous PG skills. Although he never lived up to his potential and had his demons, I am glad he is getting his second chance. As a former Queen native who lived 15 minutes away from Lefrak, wish him nothing but the best.

Only real ones will ever remember & appreciate how good & special this guy was on the court and off too.
People throw the word 'prodigy' around... but when you saw this guy play, that's exactly what he was. Before there was the LeBron James phenom, there was Kenny Anderson. I'll never forget how he would LIGHT UP the ACC and Duke, who were just a powerhouse then. The announces all loved Hurley and would talk about how hard he tried but Anderson was so freakin' good, you couldn't deny his talent. That UNLV game... when he wasn't on the court, that was the big difference. We're talking... UNLV 90s... LJ, Augman, Greg Anthony, Hunt...
I was a HUGE fan of his. The thing about him going to Georgia Tech... is before him, they had Mark Price. After they had Travis Best and Steph Marbury under coach Cremins. Man those were the days

Great choice by Fisk! Dude can hoop, knows hoop, and, as a pure PG, he knows how to communicate with players individually & as a team. He terrorized the ACC when the ACC was loaded and nation's best. If he gets his hands on the right young leaders who have game & passion to hoop... it only take 1 or 2 good recruiting years to find 3 or 4 DAWGZ to lead the pack. They're on playgrounds all over America, wandering aimlessly from court to court for hella competition. College classes are the primary deterrent, since they likely felt relieved to be done with high school. That's gonna be where he finds a gem or 3 because many are attending 2yr colleges or plan to. They need options as much as directions & instructions. Some are living as bums shortly after high school, and hustling money for wins on courts. The classes are gonna be a hard sell, but he only needs 3 or 4 guys who see the options and accept the challenge of changing the course of THEIR lives while they're still a few years pre-prime.
