Kenny Anderson sets the Georgia Tech school record with 50 points against Loyola Marymount on an outstanding performance in a fast paced game. Kenny shot a spectacular 18 of 27 from the field and 6 of 8 from the collegiate 3 point line. He sure was the treat of NCAA college basketball during this time, perhaps the greatest point guard in NCAA history out of New York City. Kenny also had 7 assists in the showing as well.

Players had career games against LMU. LMU lead the nation in scoring with Bo Kimble and Hank Gathers but the were the worst in team defense in the nation 🤷🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️❗️
