EDD is completely worthless. Ive been trying to get through for 2 weeks and nothing. No answer at all!
I knew it. These EDD workers did nothing. The back up workers have to take the blame for the real EDD workers. We the people that need jobs and are honest can use a job helping these investigators do the audit. Yet those that are not getting the full amount and get $69 a week need to keep looking for work.
I’ve been a full time Lyft driver since 2013 & still haven’t received anything from the EDD. I’ve called 1,744 times and wasted the last 7months on hold. Now I’m being told that Lyft is blocking our EDD. I’ve already lost everything. My credit is ruined.
Meanwhile rich celebrities accidentally received PUA all the way back in May.

This isn't new! I got unemployment in 2019 before the pandemic and they also didn't answer their phones. They know you need them more than anything and would put up with it.

A women was so rude today with me on the phone earlier I wanted to explode with emotion I’ve been waiting since May 26 she was unbothered and seemed she had no sympathy I had every answer to verify myself and she treated me like a scammer I have a 12 year old son and we have suffered while scammers drug addicts and unrequited people received undeserving money she actually yelled at me And told me that she can’t do anything and I believe at one point while saying hello for 3 min after getting yelled at she walked away from the phone as I was asking for her name she hung up on me 😣 luckily I called again and another women helped and told me I was pending for I’d verify but my portal is stuck on 2017 claim still smfh edd your FAILING BIG TIME

my card was frozen from December to now the edd made payments the whole time I see all payments made on edd portal but now my card is unfrozen but the funds are in thin air . any advice ? thanks
I'm on hold right now. I called at 8:04 am and it said hold time is 1min. Now it's 8:24. Gees. I bet I'm on hold for an hour or so.
