The game of my childhood. I remember running home from training just to play this game with a friend on a pc. It's a shame they broke down and the 3rd one won't happen. I recently found an old half broken ps2 slim and got it fixed and everything just to replay this game and the 2nd one again.
Fantastic playthrough. :) I love how you make it seem like a movie. Oftentimes I find myself frustrated with TH-camrs who have clearly played the game before; they always seem to rush through scenes. You, on the other hand, always manage to find just the right pacing. You don't play it too fast, nor do you play it too slow. This gameplay style, combined with the dramatic camera angles that the game had already, truly made it feel like I was watching a movie, albeit a badly animated one. Thank you very much for your time and dedication. :)
Obscure by name, obscure by nature. While titles like Silent Hill were psychological horror, this game delved into teen horror. That's horror where you scream back at your tv. Like the Halloween or Friday the 13th films. This game was made to be screamed at by people playing. I think it was 2004 this came out, I know it came out at around the same time as Silent Hill 4: The Room. This was very much a sleeper hit, was not advertised or hyped up by gaming magazines (that hype went to Silent Hill 4) but Obscure did pretty good. Got lots of good word of mouth about it. I really liked it.
noticed a few changes from the PC Version 1:30:52 on PC this camera angle is not used. 1:53:52 on PC this cinematic did not play. 1:56:42 on PC that door behind the bookcase does not exist. you just enter the room normally through the door.
This is a game that really need to be make as Movie or tv series the story is so amazing and had amazing storyline (sorry for my english.still learning)
0:18 wouldn't it be easier and probably more better to get the steam version instead of the ps2 emulator, you know they removed the licensed music anyway and you don't have to remove the music, also the developers would have stayed open and update it more.😐
I kinda agree with him this whole emulation is really unnecessary plus games that have been ported don't always get many needed updates when they don't get much attention or money I mean grandia 1 and 2 had been remastered on steam and now got a lot updates and it is ported to switch, so that's all I know

What I like about the game is, that it's not dumbed down. I don't need flashing symbols showing me every door/gate to open, every ammo stash, every key etc...
I know that the graphics have evolved a lot in recent years but at that time it was a horror game and it's still for me. I have many memories with this game. I hope you try it too.
not exactly the best games in terms of plot but may haps if this were given a remake it would lovely, in a way I pity the antagonists. one was simply trying to advance humanity no matter the consequences to himself but as demonstrated by his monstrous present self still deeply cared for others, a mad scientist would be heartless, he was merely a scientist who was too selfless in his endeavors and his brother though doing reprehensible things did it for his brother, one likely too far gone for it to be of use considering what he said about the teacher who still human, he was a monster........ but just as love can make a man of a monster so too can it turn a man into a monster

i love this game, it brings back so many memories. the atmosphere takes such a sharp turn in the last 3rd of the game.

Favorite Survival Horror duology of all time. Sad co-op Survival Horror didn't kick off then, had a blast playing these with a friend.
I played both the first and second game with my brother when we were still in high school. Really fond memories of easier times.
