Loved making this one and hope yall enjoy it! Glad to be back to non-Muppet content lol. If you wanna support the channel join the patreon or at the very least share this video and spread the good junk!
13:37 I hope you weren't being serious there, cause i'm so sick of loser Star Wars fanboys whining about Disney's Star Wars films being "woke"(which lets be honest is a term mostly used by alt-right ghouls as a catch-all term for "anyone or anything non-white and/or non-straight")and i'm especially tired of hearing all the whining about Leia's powers in Last Jedi.
I miss your videos man. They were a very bright spot in a dark time in my life. Your humor and nostalgia topics matching my age group exactly really spoke to me. I hope you are doing well.
You always deliver. Top-notch editing, great comedic timing, and good lord the references here were woven into this script as tightly as as kevlar, these are like perfect comfort videos to watch. Only a matter of time before you're at the 100K milestone!
Back then when I was a kid, the Mos Espa segment of the Phantom Menace was my favorite. I had save just in the entrance of the city to do it again, again and again. It was my first time I could experience roaming a city and talk to npc, making choice and quest, and collect EVERY item possible. I didn't have a PC back then, so the awsome games like Bladur's gate and Planescape was unreachable. This segment of the game gave me a glimpse (without knowing it) of what will become later trivial (but wonderful) in video games. This was my favorite moment in a Star Wars video games... Until I could roam the streets of Taris in the legendary Knights of the old Republic.
Thanks for sharing, I feel like we all have moments like this one with certain games in our childhood that were like the first glimpse of a future we so excitedly anticipated that which we have now become so complacent for.
Man! I loved this video! That era of Expanded Universe Star Wars (Dark Forces/Shadows of the Empire) pre-Phantom Menace was just.... chefs kiss. Great memories with these games and it looks like you had a great time making this video. I was pointing at my screen too when the Power of the Force action figures were on screen hahaha! Just a huge nostalgia hit. You're awesome for this video dude, definitely my favourite of yours so far!
Just wanna say that your videos are always top notch, man. The production, humor, editing, and topics covered always have me coming back to rewatch my favorites. Keep it up, Junko. You dun good.
We had Phantom Menace and Demolition back in the day; the last time I saw the latter, the disc was scratched to hell and back from sitting in a drawer for who knows how long.
The Max Reebo song snippet at around 24:18 seemed VERY familiar to me then I realized that they use this tune in Knights Of The Old Republic 2 as the Telos cantina music
That actor at 10:55 who played Ace is the late great Roy Conrad. Hes must known for voicing Ben in the LucasArts adventure game Full Throttle. Phantom Menace game is so good its practically memeable my favourite PS1 Star Wars game Apparently the Dreamcast version of Jedi Power Battles is the superior version, they fixed a lot of bugs that were in the PS1 version and gave Darth Maul dual blades when hes a playable character due to a glitch on PS1 version
That Chewbacca quick roar got me! Also, I used to LOVE Masters of Teras Kasi, Phantom Menace, and Jedi Power Battles. Super nostalgic for all of these games... Enjoyed it!
I remember playing The Phantom Menace game on PC as a kid and man did I love it. Nostalgia's sure a big factor but I just find it so charming. Great video Junko!
Junko, if you've never played *Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight,* I HIGHLY recommend it. It's level design is fantastic, and the live action FMV cutscenes are *waaay* better than Rebel Assault's. It's only on PC though, and I *highly* recommend playing with the "Remastered 3.0 Mod" as it uses a source port that makes the Game actually run properly, as otherwise it can be an absolute nightmare to get this 25+ year old fossil running on properly on modern hardware. It also comes with updated models, and upscaled textures, but these can be disabled in the options if you want the authentic, hideous experience 👍 *Mysteries of the Sith* also... exists, and also has a "Remastered 3.0 Mod" but the level design sucks doo-doo, and the cutscenes aren't live action, so I would only recommend this if you *really love* Dark Forces 2.
The platforming sections and speeder bike in Jedi Power Battles killed me way more than even the toughest enemies most of the time 😹 And Phantom Menace was just beautifully jank. Level geometry exploits let me skip sections of some levels and find whole unused bits of level, quite fascinating. Works in Theed and Coruscant if you jump at certain parts enough. I still have no idea how I found them. But yeah it's still great to this day just messing around in. Games like that are one of a kind.
My grandmother had Phantom Menace and a slim ps1 but I don't believe she had a memory card, so I played the opening level of that game with my cousins countless times as a kid, was really keen for you to bring it up in this video and I'm very glad it was pretty much the bulk of it. Seeing the later parts of the game was very cool, also the outro was so funny, keep it up Junko mate
I’m glad you didn’t hate on the phantom menace. It’s a guilty favourite from childhood and for the exact reason you stated. The exploration and the story building through talking to the npc’s
I'm sad that in TPM you didn't lead Darth Maul back to the village and have him kill a few NPCs, who then all immediately start shooting at YOU while Maul retreats and polygonally smirks at you from a safe distance. And speaking of Maul, once in JPB in the final batte, he glitched and fell into the hole, and never came back out, softlocking me. I fired some homing force projectiles down the pit to no avail and had to off myself and start the section over. That was fun.
Man, the phantom menace game is getting a lot of love these days. I had the ps1 version when I was a kid, I never got far in it but I thought it was cool. I never thought it would have such a resurgence in popularity.
I know the chances of you having it seen it are low, but your intro really brings me back to the Adam and Joe show (a British TV show from the 90s that was super ahead of its time) that had a bunch of sketches involving Star Wars figures.
This was like my favorite Yung Junko comfort food 👌😤 Great stuff! Also I'm glad I know about Demolition now; I'll be keeping an eye out for it at game shops from now on.
Star Wars: Rebel Assault II was one of the games I played as a kid and is such a joy to revisit it after 17 years. I looks better than I remember actually.
I think "Check Yo Self" might have been a better reference point for a beat that repurposes another beat from the 'golden age', let alone from Ice Cube.
For what it's worth, I heard the Dreamcast version of Jedi Power Battles is considerably more polished and easier to platform around in. Can't say that with experience, it's on my bucket list since I like Star Wars games better than the movies, it's just what I've heard. In any case, your videos are always a good time. I'm up for a series of Junko reviewing each 6th gen Star Wars game.
You never miss on these Star Wars videos and jokes YungJunko! I absolutely loved this video, and am really looking forward to the N64 one. Also, my memory is that Jedi Power Battles was a lot more fun (and tolerable) with a second player =)
Researching what I should... Find "backups" for... Also, the PS1 with a screen is something I've been wanting for a long time. Once I get that and the Nomad, I'll have all the 90s systems I've wanted
-there was always a controller with a half chewed analog stick. Somehow. Hahaha -omg, I never found Beru in Dark Forces before -I always remember Rebel Assault 2 as tough, boring, but also hilarious if you had a turbo button -young me really wanted Teras Kasi for reasons I will never understand, but I'm glad I never got to that one. Hahaha -I have always loved the episode 1 game. It was the first time I ever felt like I was able to walk through Star Wars settings and live in em a little, back in the pre-KotOR games. Love the RPG elements it has. Still a fun time! I'm also glad the code I memorized 25 years ago still works on the rerelease this year. Hahaha Fear Boss Nass, M'lady JPB has a lot of platform jank ruining it, but it was always fun multiplayer regardless! ...unfortunately, that makes it super hard to play and have fun with anymore. It's just all frustration I never expected demolition to be the other PS1 SW game to get another rerelease recently, but here we are! Twisted Carbonite returns Love the vids as always! Can't believe the effort that you put into them -- even just in playing so many games for one video -- but they're all a fun watch! Positive Vibes! [Twi'lekAndJunko.png here]
The Couruscant segment of phantom menace never made sense to me. When the air taxi gets blown up, why not just get back on the ship and move to another platform? Maybe one closer to the Senate?
JUNKO YOUVE GOTTA REVIEW THE ORIGINAL LOVE ACTION NINJA TURTLE FILMS!!! Reasoning: I think you'd absolutely love the humor of the 1st two films and the OG ninja turtle suits for TMNT 1 And 2 were created by Jim Henson himself!!!
Been watching you for like a year now and it's insane to me how you haven't gotten to at least 200k by now your videos are so well made though maybe it's cuz the nicheness of the muppets stuff the past while 😭 those vids were good tho
Thank you! And yeah the Muppet stuff definitely didn't do me any favors with the algorithm since it was a departure from the usual stuff. Everything in due time tho! Appreciate the kind words
I did not realize the PS1 version of Rebel Assault 2 had 3rd-person flight cameras. Not in the PC version. I guess because everyone was on joystick back then.
You can put darth maul in the hole with mace windu. When he jumps over the hole you do his lightsaber throw and maul will fall in the hole. The game will soft lock however and you’ll have to do the entire level again as I learned much to my chagrin.
The only game I played on here was Jedi Power Battles. I actually remember it being one of the very first games I’ve ever had and I don’t think I ever made it past the first level…..
I actually had a massive amount of fun with the ps1 fighting Star Wars game when i was a kid. But i rarely fought the ai, I usually just played against buddies. Maybe that made it more enjoyable

Why do you and Urinatingtree have the exact same voice?
If i share it will you love me?
Pretty cool video, reminds me a lot of Caddicarus's content especially the beginning skit.

Hope you're doin well, Junko. My YT timeline has been missing your vids. Looking forward to the N64 games video when it's ready!
You're my favorite channel to eat ramen noodles while watching specifically ramen noodles... You are the ramen noodle channel for me
Dammit now I want some ramen. Luckily I planned ahead.😊
Holy shit I was eating ramen and watching this
I ate nachos to this
Only problem is that it takes six seconds to eat a bowl of top ramen.
Honestly, being told your channel is comfy mealtime viewing is probably the highest praise.
You always deliver. Top-notch editing, great comedic timing, and good lord the references here were woven into this script as tightly as as kevlar, these are like perfect comfort videos to watch. Only a matter of time before you're at the 100K milestone!
"He fell" 😂 I thing this is my favourife bit in the video
Mine was 24:30 “I had to hold the square button for a really wrong time”
So excited to watch this video 3-5 minutes at a time spread out over the course of a week 💖
Hell yeah
what a horrible way to consume content
Holy shit, I cannot believe I've gone this many years without hearing about Twisted Metal Star Wars.
I loved the Ep. 1 game as a kid. I remember genociding Tatooine as Qui Gon and being unable to progress 😂
I loved the demolition game as a kid. Laughing my ass off at Yoda trying to sleep whilst all out war ensues outside his crappy hut!
Back then when I was a kid, the Mos Espa segment of the Phantom Menace was my favorite. I had save just in the entrance of the city to do it again, again and again. It was my first time I could experience roaming a city and talk to npc, making choice and quest, and collect EVERY item possible.

TPM's Tattooine levels gave me wayyy too much room to play around... and it was perfect.
Thanks for sharing, I feel like we all have moments like this one with certain games in our childhood that were like the first glimpse of a future we so excitedly anticipated that which we have now become so complacent for.
Seriously, if you get burnt out from TH-cam. Then I would seriously recommend trying a go at voice acting. You got range Junko!
God, I love your humor.
Man! I loved this video! That era of Expanded Universe Star Wars (Dark Forces/Shadows of the Empire) pre-Phantom Menace was just.... chefs kiss. Your content is so high quality, funny, and original. Love your uploads and can’t wait to see your next. Hope you aren’t pressuring yourself!
where did you go come back please 😭
Yungjunko comes in at the right time to breifly cure my feelings of doubt and self hate.
Thanks, Junko. Keep on digging through the trash.
love yourself ❤️
This showing up two days after getting to see Episode I in theaters? It’s just, ah….So Good.
Something about that sentence mixed "fuckin hoar" is funnier than any morshu or heavy tf2 mix ive ever heard
"Dont think.... Feel." Nice reference.
Where is junko?
Love u junko hope everything is ok
Where the Junko content at? Can't believe it's been so long since the Muppet review series!
We had Phantom Menace and Demolition back in the day; the last time I saw the latter, the disc was scratched to hell and back from sitting in a drawer for who knows how long.
babe WAKE UP new Junko just dropped
*YES!!!!*
Found your channel randomly one day and it's a treat. It's rare seeing someone edit with such effect for comedy. Kudos!
The Max Reebo song snippet at around 24:18 seemed VERY familiar to me then I realized that they use this tune in Knights Of The Old Republic 2 as the Telos cantina music
Man im in love with what u do with ur star wars game videos!! Can we get (even) more pls?
Amazing video man, keep it up!! Absolutely loved the figures sketches!!!!
That screen is a thing of beauty. Thank you for this wonderful presentation

Junk, that was the funniest stuff I’ve seen in like a month, thanks babe ❤️ glad you’re back to some Star Wars stuff, keep up the bangers 🎸🎸🎸

The yoda bit during the Demolition game got me waking up the neighbors. I was laughing too damn hard
Episode 1 and Jedi Power Battles was my childhood. I loved going around levels just killing everything, lol.

Your rant about the handmaidens was so real, man.
I’m glad you didn’t hate on the phantom menace. It’s a guilty favourite from childhood and for the exact reason you stated. The exploration and the story building through talking to the npc’s
Those are some semi-decent Star Wars impressions. Can't wait for the N64 Star Wars video.
Out of nowhere I had a very rough day, thanks Junko for bringing some laughs out with this video. It means a lot.
Junko, your humor is really taking off here. Always loved your content but this broke me a few times 😂 Awesome work!
I literally enjoy any videos you make, it dont matter if mippets or stsr ward i will gladly watched them as i finish my norning cereal

come back my beloved
I played the ps1 Phantom Menace on a PC at my daycare when I was a child, i didnt think it was even a real game dude. Like fever dream
It’s always a great day when Junko posts.
watching junko vids is the closest i will ever get to having a cool older brother
I know the chances of you having it seen it are low, but your intro really brings me back to the Adam and Joe show (a British TV show from the 90s that was super ahead of its time) that had a bunch of sketches involving Star Wars figures.
Every time you upload the YungJunko shaped hole in my YungJunko shaped heart is filled.
Say all you want about the prequels but at least the movies and series have variety of bad guys and minions. It's not just the empire.
22:20 so that's where Anakin learned his YMT (Youngling Massacre Techniques) purely meant to be theoretical of course
This was like my favorite Yung Junko comfort food 👌😤 Great stuff! Also I'm glad I know about Demolition now; I'll be keeping an eye out for it at game shops from now on.
"It's all your favorite Glup Shittos and it's incredible!" But is there Schlurpo involved?
For anyone who isn't sure, the timestamp for The Phantom Menace is supposed to start after 15:41, not 24:56 as the auto generated chapter thought so.
Star Wars: Rebel Assault II was one of the games I played as a kid and is such a joy to revisit it after 17 years. I looks better than I remember actually.
phantom menace on PC is the first game I ever owned, it was super fun to go through it as 5 year old, thanks for making a video about it :)
I think "Check Yo Self" might have been a better reference point for a beat that repurposes another beat from the 'golden age', let alone from Ice Cube.
Bro beat me to it by like a month...
I’ll miss the muppets for now but it’s good to have Star Wars junko back
High quality as always Junko 👍
“That’s for kissing my sister”

This channel needs more views and subs.
I've never laughed so hard in my WHOLE damn LIFE!!!
BEST...
VIDEO...
EVER!!!😂
13:40 I’m surprised it took until 2024 for someone to make that joke I always would make whenever talking about Teras Kasi with my old bud😂
jsyk 15:37 is where Masters of Tigara actually ends / Phantom Menace begins!
-there was always a controller with a half chewed analog stick. Somehow. Hahaha

The Couruscant segment of phantom menace never made sense to me.
When the air taxi gets blown up, why not just get back on the ship and move to another platform?

30:43 What’s the big deal they’re _JUST BODIES!!_ 💥Lol.

Big Adam and Joe vibes with that intro. You should check out their old star wars skits. I think you would like them Junko.
Power Battles was my childhood. God I miss being a kid.

Man, I remember playing the Phantom Menace when it came out. Never got past the first level.
Junko over here making so many bangers we won't starve anytime soon.
I did not realize the PS1 version of Rebel Assault 2 had 3rd-person flight cameras. Not in the PC version. I guess because everyone was on joystick back then.

30:46 Probably the most unhinged Junko moment
Star Wars Demolition an d Jedi Power Battles are so much better on the Dreamcast. I remember spending so much time on those back in the day.
I only watched this for phantom menace. One of my fav ps1 games
Wow I don't think I have ever seen so many people coincidentally fall in such a short period of time!
The narrator in that Rebel Assault 2 behind the scenes video voiced Roger Rabbit
I know, I was like who is this mf and looked him up while I was editing lmao crazy
@@YungJunkoKeep up the good work, PS2/GC/Xbox era star wars games next?
By the way the Millennium Falcon portions of Star Wars Rebel Assault 1 and 2 are why I can’t seem to beat those games
Wowweeeee!
Subscriber gained from the intro alone!
COME BACKKKK
Junko saves lives (but not the citizens of Mos Espa)
Your vids are so good
I actually had a massive amount of fun with the ps1 fighting Star Wars game when i was a kid. But i rarely fought the ai, I usually just played against buddies. Maybe that made it more enjoyable
Also, Jedi power battles was one of my first games when I was like 5, and man I freaking loved it. I knew nothing else! The nostalgia is real 😭😭
JungYunko back with another banger
What’s stupid is power battles the difficulty is tied to the character like qui gon is easy but the darth maul fight with plo koon just yeah someone jacked that difficulty all the way up
