100% agree about burden being a bitch fest. Rubbed me the wrong way and I dismissed the new chapter of AILD a bit. This song hit different though. Tough to get all the lyrics the first time through in any metal band that features harsh vocals. The way I interpret the song is how someone deals with past traumas and what they do because of it. More of a song about therapy but is actually a song of hope... "Lay to rest the memory, that hold you down."
Guys that have been married to an utter waste of humanity, can understand why Tim did what he did out of desperation. He did his time & repented, as it were.
