Literally my favorite band wish they were more active

This reminded me so much of a local band i saw a few times from the Bronx (im from NY) called Dalys Gone Wrong. I had never heard a band so seamless combine ska punk pop punk and hardcore (metal maybe even) AND do it live. I know a few bands from NJ in the early 2000s did this kinda genre blending - i love it. I hope more comes from it!

At the start of almost every episode of the Rookie, they do a small bit about a random crime that’s normally very comedic. With this one, it’s 2 different episodes, the first one was in season 5, they were doing a routine car stop in front of the garage band when the band improvised the song. But people loved the bit so much that they brought it back for another episode in the next season, which is when they used the choir and the bass solo.
