I always wanted to have the hearse aka Koarch that Herman took a hearse and turned it into a Drag racer car hot rod and the Coffin that Grandpa Munster turned into a drag car that was called Dragula which is where the name came from
I went to Aftershock in Sacramento in 2022. I wanted to see Slipknot. My darling and love was so impressed with Rob Zombie, he still talks about it to this day. I do say that he put on one hell of a performance! Very cathartic.
Rob and his wife Shari are two of the nicest people you'd ever want to meet. They're just genuine, honest, empathetic folks who don't take themselves seriously.
You need some real White Zombie!!!! ~ Thunderkiss 65’ ~ Black Sunshine ~ Super-Charger Heaven - Blood, Milk & Sky (short version) ~ Electric Head Pt. 1 ~ Creature of the Wheel
Girl, I just love your infectious energy. And the way you analyze lyrics leaves me speechless. You're always so spot on. I would love nothing more than to see you do some Killswitch Engage. A few personal faves are End of Heartache, The Rose of Sharyn, and Daylight Dies.

Having an evening of "reaction to" songs i love, I first heard Rob as White Zombie when I was 15 year's old cycling the Scottish coast at midnight and found so much music in his, music! At that point I was avoiding my schizophrenic father and even now I still find so much music when you look past the initial heaviness, so much poetry, musicality, experimentation. Love it, I have severe PTSD now with major anxiety issues that finally hit me later life lol, music though, such a release! I went for a drive n loud music session tonight and listened to this all the way to INXS, and a little Fontella Bass thrown in for good measure! Nice video about mental health I shall now listen to, some more!
If we want our dear friend to get a real challenge, we should have her react to these two: Rob Zombie - The Life And Times Of A Teenage Rock God Rob Zombie - Ging Gang Gong De Do Gong De Laga Raga
Honestly, I think you picked up on the positive feeling that most people get from this kind of music even if you couldn't translate something more direct from the lyrics. Similar to music from bands like Disturbed, it's the driving force of the music that people want. It's the inertia to say, "Yeah, I'm going to dig through the ditches. I'm going to burn through the evil in front of me. And I'm going to have a good time doing it." Sometimes we all need to fix our perspectives by looking at the challenges we face, cracking a smirk and saying, "That's all you've got?"
I believe Dragula was featured on House Of A 1000 Corpses when grandpa was eating dinner with Otis and they were watching The Munsters. Nice little gem in the movie. Great movie by the way directed by Rob Zombie.
Some music I do for lyrics and music (Rage Against the Machine, Slipknot, Bob Dylan, Ren, Nightwish, Pink Floyd), others I focus on musicality. For Rob Zombie it has always been the latter, so nice to hear some lyrical analysis on this as I haven't really thought about it as much with Rob Zombie or White Zombie, who I just find creepy and fun
Sometimes all we need to get through the day is a song that motivates us via intense beats or meaningful lyrics, either way, try to utilize the tools that make you as an individual feel pumped and get ready to "dig through the ditches". Great video! Be safe and have an EPIC day!
I love to see someone discovering this in 2024, also a therapist which is a mentaly healthy person losing his shit on a song i was listening when i was maybe 12!! 🤭🤣 Amazing and caring energy, keep going!!
Thats so crazy, I've always felt like this song meant to keep on pushing and going. Dig through the ditches, dig in and push through those low times, the hard shit. Burn through the witches, ignore all the negative people telling you you can't do whatever it is. Slam in the back of my dragula, turn all your negatives around and instead of holding you back fuel your fire to overcome all doubt.
Not only a great performer but a pretty good director for movies. Check out his version of Halloween. He actually got permission to do the movie from the director of the original. It's really good.
I love watching Taylor's breakdown's of the videos, the lyrics and I especially really appreciate how much the music resonates with her and acts as her outlet when discussing her past and her Trauma, but I also have to say that she's just so damn adorkable when she's rocking out. I paused the video to make this comment. And she's making funniest little face and it's just perfect. And I wanted to say that all of that is what makes her amazing, not just as a person but as a doctor and a reactor, and honestly, I just hope she continues to do this amazing for a long time because she is quite exquisite and amazing. Love the channel and keep up the great work. PS: If you're planning to continue going down the Rob Zombie rabbit hole, be ready to see that lady pop up in all of his videos because that's his wife, Sherri Moon Zombie
You should react to idiosyncrasy by Korn. It’s from their 2019 album “The Nothing” and it’s just a really good album that has a bunch of depth put in it. Like idiosyncrasy and The End Begins
This album has a music video for every single song some are live. My favorite song from the album is called Demonoid Phenomenon. It is hands down the heaviest song he's ever created. The very second Demonoid Phenomenon starts it is so dark and heavy. Let It All Bleed Out is equally as nasty and great. That song is from the album Educated Horses which is a very unique album title.
the fact that it came out in 1998 from hellbilly deluxe rob zombie and its has such a killer groove this sounds just as crisp and clean as the one from the album but thaty album was chuck full of killer grooves and psychedelic feel she clearly is getting something special
That opening movie clip is from the 1920 "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde". It's a good version of the story with some good effects. The big robot is from "The Phantom Creeps", a not so good serial with Bela Legosi.
Thunder Kiss '65 is my fav Zombie song. Ok Ok, it isnt Rob Zombie, it was his first band with his brother, White Zombie. But 2 of my favorite mental health songs are both by Metallica: Nothing Else Matters and Damage, INC. The first one is soft and mellow, the second one is pure scream therapy. Yeah baby!!
Just went to his show last September with Alice Cooper. Seen him three times. He puts on a hell of a show. Also, he doesn’t do drugs or drink. Heard him say, he wouldn’t be where he is with that stuff. Love his wife Sherry Moon also.
Back in the day rob zombie was the first real concert i ever went to here in Madison WI. I would love to take this girl to a zombie concert and stand dead center stage in the moshpit and just rock for an hour or two.
If you like rob, you might also like his little brother spyder. They used to be together in the band White Zombie, but they split the band as rob wanted to focus on horror metal, and spyder wanted to do sci-fi metal.... both band are awesome
I love how you had the I'm enjoying this jam face! If you like this you should listen to more Rob Zombie try superbeast, red red kroovey and feel so numb. Have a wonderful day!
She heard this on the radio and acting like it's her first time experiencing the song. I love that she gives her opinion on most good heavy songs... though most mainstream music isn't heavy. PS I take it she never watched the movie House of a 1000 corpses.
I love Rob Zombie’s grooves. Even if his lyrics are a bit nonsensical at times, the groove is good and the song has energy. How about some Pink Floyd??? It seems you might find a nugget in so many of their timeless tunes. Two albums, Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall might give you
Rob has some fun stuff! Please don’t exclude songs from when he was a part of White Zombie. This was obviously prior to his Rob Zombie days, but the music is just as good. For example, you could check out “Thunder Kiss ‘65”. Great stuff! Thank you for your positivity
If youve ever watched the original Matrix movie, you've heard this song. It was playing at the club where Neo met Trinity for the first time. Rob is a huge fan of the horror genre, and more specific, the older horror movies. He also loves the older TV shows such as The Munsters. I believe the car he drives in this video is an homage to that very car that Herman Munster drove in the show. And nevermind you just said that you knew that.
In the same vein as Rob Zombie, I'd recommend Powerman 5000 as they have a similar vibe and sound (Powerman 5000 is more old sci-fi themed) and Rob's brother is the lead singer. "When Worlds Collide" and "Nobody's Real" would be good songs to check out from them. Also any song by Soundgarden or Audioslave, most of their music relates to mental health (because Chris Cornell's feelings bled into his lyrics and performance A LOT). "La Mer" by Nine Inch Nails is a good one too. Even though Trent Reznor doesn't sing in the song, the background of the song itself is very personal to Trent and others. The entire album it comes from, "The Fragile", was made when he was getting through his personal issues that the previous album retained. The title song of the album is about his late grandmother who passed beforehand, so that's another one to look at. "Every Day Is Exactly The Same" is another good one from the "With Teeth" album, certainly replicates how depression or sadness can feel like. Any Depeche Mode song from the "Violator" and "Songs of Faith and Devotion" albums are good too, especially "Halo", "Enjoy The Silence", "Policy of Truth", "Clean", "Walking In My Shoes", "Condemnation", "Judas", and "One Caress".
This brings me back to twisted metal 4 days bumping this while going ham on the track. I need to find someone that'll dig through the ditches and burn through the witches in the back of my dragula 😢
Dragula was built by Grandpa Munster after Herman Munster lost the family car, The Munster Koach, in a drag race. So, the Dragula was built to win the Koach back on the drag strip.
Dragula is an actual car designed by George Barris for the Munsters. The car in the music video is the Munster Coach also designed by George Barris.
Drugster car
@@marekmarecki7065 far from that
I always wanted to have the hearse aka Koarch that Herman took a hearse and turned it into a Drag racer car hot rod and the Coffin that Grandpa Munster turned into a drag car that was called Dragula which is where the name came from
He designed the original Batmobile too
I love his love of vehicles. Black sunshine!
Please do more of Rob Zombie he has some phenomenal music that not a lot of reactors care to react to and it makes me sad.
I completely agree with this statement!
I 100% agree

Yep. Rob has so many great solo songs.
@@Papabear076 oh yes. La Sexorcisto.
I played that for a good year.

Considering Rob Zombie's tastes, "feast upon the cat" and the following line is probably a euphemism.
"dying (the "little death") as you "purr"" indeed
The entire song was
Huh. Maybe "Slam in the back of my (car/)Dragula" also means something...
