I've had the Peg 36 and Peg Trail 2, and the Peg Trail 2 is by far the most comfortable. I found the Peg 36 lacking cushion and too tactile for my needs - it's close to a hybrid according to Nike as I had some input when choosing. In the end I went for a Peg 37 Shield as I do mostly road and track rather than hardcore trail. Hope this helps.
Hi, Thanks for the great review. I ran in the pegs 36 trail but found them a bit too firm, and was thinking about purchasing these as a replacement. I run a lot in forrest and path and from door to trail. Not a very fast runner, looking for something with a lot of cushion for easy forrest run. Would you recommend me these ?
Great review.. One question, I saw a TH-camr video saying that your toe can slam hard into the forefront toe box when descending slopes.. bummer ..is that true?
La Sportiva offers Trail-"Shoes" with gravel-break heel and adidas as well. Sole-Units like at La Sportiva Ultra Raptor, Wildcat 2.0 and Akyra offer a gravel-break heel like adidas Eastrail, AX3, Swift R2 and Brushwood. Furthermore adidas offers the only Multisport-shoes with reasonable edge-stability for the via ferrata. The Las Sportiva Bushido Comedy nearest to this edge-stability but has Just a basic gravel-break heel. There are only few shoes in the market I would wear in (European) Alpine terrain. Well the adidas Skychaser (Prior 2020) and Skychaser LT with BOOST-midsole and Rockplate offer unbeatable grip and are best on the most difficult trails. Nike and Others offer nothing....
How do you like these compared to the Saucony Mad River 2’s? Seem similar being higher cushioned non rock plate shoes. Which do you think are best for wide feet?
He mentions 'fits true to size' and suspects it suits a wider foot although it fits him comfortably and he has a narrow to medium width foot. Is that what you're looking for or something else?
Great review and Thanks for sharing your love of running!!! Really nice looking trail shoe🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲
Nice review. Love it. Im all the way from Malaysia
Thanks for watching!
Excellent job
Thanks for the video, love the colourway
Between the the Wildhorse 6, Peg 36 trail and Peg Trail 2, which one would you recommend?
Inov-8! :)

Very similar indeed. Both good for wider feet. Mad River toe box is a bit higher volume maybe also a touch less secure.
Missing critical detailed information: Fitment and Sizing?
He mentions 'fits true to size' and suspects it suits a wider foot although it fits him comfortably and he has a narrow to medium width foot.

Would these work for sprint drills on turf/grass and walks intoning city snow or muddy puddles?
Yes if straight ahead drills but not side to side stuff IMO. As far as snow etc..not a water proof upper et..
@@RoadTrailRun perfect, thanks. Know if sizing is similar to regular (not trail) pegasus 36 shoes?
@@superseiyan clearly roomier. see written review for more details
Will this be a good hiking shoes ?
Yes but not as good on more technical terrain as many others including Kiger, Trail 2 more mellow trails, dirt roads, etc..
Are these breathable?
Yes. See our written review here for more details: www.roadtrailrun.com/2020/06/nike-pegasus-trail-2-multi-tester.html
Boas impressões, feio que dói, mas é o que precisa ser, um trator com boca de tubarão. Parabéns!
Onde que ele é feio?
Any thoughts versus Altra Olympus?
Never have run Olympus but expect less it is agile and smooth but more cushioned yet at forefoot.
