Respectfully foster parents VOLUNTARILY take on kids who’s parents can’t or won’t take care of them, so it makes sense that they get help to help the helpless. Parents CHOOSE to have kids, so it’s THEIR responsibility. Unfortunately those are the rules. I don’t make them.

@@sj5218 It would be cheaper for the state to help the mother take care of her own kids and better for the kids to keep them with their mother. The only reason we do it the way we do it is to penalize poverty. Everyone who refuses to hold deadbeat dads accountable while letting ALL of the work and responsibilities fall solely on Mothers.
I personally, like to troll the family courts whenever I'm dealing with them by naively asking who I can send my kids bills to get them lowered (like men can do) or how do I sign up for the program that lessens my kids expenses to just 50% (max support that can be taken from a dads paycheck fyi). It's fun to listen to them squirm trying to answer why none of those benefits apply to mothers. 😂

My husband and i both had the sad thoughts to give our son up for two years since he was born . The sad reality we can never bring ourselves to do it because we didnt just go through all this crap - family narcissistic abuse , poverty , loss of freedom , debt , sleep less nights and health problem for us both . We thought about it due to being at the point of homelessness living with his dad because my parents are abusive towards all of us .. they spoiled my son with candy, pushed boundaries and snapped when they didnt reenforce healthy boundaries, they worked my husband and i to a point of being literally sick and the verbal abuse ro hurt us and turn us against each other - it pushed us together . It was so bad we packed a bag and left , came back for our stuff and no contact.. my child had went through weaks of sugar withdrawal and they made it to where financially we could not leave without doing anything drastic , we had nothing when we left . . I had the door slammed in my face because i couldnt give all the rent money and i had to make sure my family had food and keep my car bill paid and my dad told me to pay it any time in the month and it was my mother saying i stole things , im trashing their house - i was the only one cleaning it . , im just using them so i dont have to pay my own bills , claimed myself and my husband is abusive and threatened cps on me .. for weaks we were asked can my baby stay for the weekend without us .. the only person in my family that checked in on me personally and told me i love you was my grandma in a text .. my husbands side of the family pulled what little resources they had to make sure we are taken care of and that is doesnt have to come to giving up our child for his betterment . Its out of pure selfishness we are fighting for our child . I wont lie to you .

I have considered it and it's always on the table if things get too hard. I already know how it's done. Any mother can bring their child there and state they are not able to raise and provide for the child. No one can force a person to sign up for government assistance and most single mothers are only able to raise their children with government assistance. So technically you can't afford to raise them if you're dependent on government assistance.

Now I agree that a woman could have some support and help from others but I don't agree with allowing them to just go off and not give any Aid or support in raising the child. They should be paying child support and still aiding in the child's care. The young girl that was in a similar situation to me sounds like she just wants someone to take care of her child so she doesn't have to do it at all because why would you want someone to take your children and not have any involvement in their life including not financially support them ? The second issue is that a lot of these Millennials and gen Z complained about the parenting style of the generation before them and so therefore that generation doesn't feel obligated to help them if I was a piss poor parent then why do you want me to help you care for your child now that you're overwhelmed ? Also did you listen when people were trying to warn you about this person or that person or did you just ignore them and say you were going to do things your way and now you're expecting people to get you out of this bind? ❤

I think she is really brave for asking for help and taking her kids there. I think she’s really brave for sticking around and waiting to see what the outcome was and also to ask if she could bring her kids clothes there and then lady shamed her and say well you know they don’t want bedbugs and the lady was like I don’t have bedbugs, but I can understand.

Meanwhile there’s tons of mothers who keep their kids to look good and for selfish reasons and are toxic and mentally abuse and traumatize their kids their whole lives because they can’t acknowledge their issues

Y’all really should have thought about most of those situations before bringing a child into this world…Its unfortunate that y’all’s negligence placed the child in this situation 😔
