When we had full custody of my husband Son, we had multiple false reports filed against us. CPS would not tell us whose filing the reports so we took them to court and our Attorney demanded to know who was doing the reporting. The judge got the name and charges was filed against the person ( his mother). She did 1 year in lockup for filing false reports.
It definitely needs to be consequences for false reporting and then they won’t think it’s a game and be so reckless. No one has time to put their kids through this kind of foolishness. Smh

A social worker has to have existing circumstances remove a child ( which means evidence ) which is presented to court and then court makes the decision to have the worker detain or not based on evidence presented or lack there of. As you see in the video she didn’t have the right to just take the kids , and the husband exercised his right to refuse . Since refused the worker has to do her job with checking in with her supervisor and getting instructions further ( usually whether to go out at a different time or have the police assist ) but it is her job to attempt lay eyes on the kids bc of the report that was made. It’s sad that people use resource this way but she’s only doing her job. She has to do this and theirs step she had to take to close out the referral.
Someone called CPS on me & said that I was doing suspicious activities outside my home & threatened to take my only child from me who is 14… GOD did not allow them to take my kid… Thank GOD 🙏🏾

It's not just Florida. It's Indiana too. I lost mine for almost a year because they said me moving into a motel for a total of 3 days was unstable housing while I waited for my apartment to be ready! 3 days!!! I let them in thinking I had nothing to hide. They saw my kids was fine, asked me to a drug test on the spot and I passed it. Then they said because they counted moving from my old apartment as one move, to the motel as #2, and moving into the new apartment as #3 within less than 30 days. So my daughter's dad went to court and said cuz I smoke cigarettes and drink energy drinks that he saw on Google it's not a good combo and could make you crazy. Google says anything is crazy. But when I injected to that mwss, the judge jumped all over me and down my throat. She took my kids, and I had to jump thru hoops for about a year. The caseworker literally told me, " you know if you don't get them back by 18 mos. Indiana can take your parental rights away, and it'd be such a shame cuz they're so little and so cute. It wouldn't take anything to get them adopted out!"!! Do you know how much I had to bite the inside of my lip and tongue trying not to cuss her and whoop her up one side and down the other! Thank God I got them back, and I'll never ever open my door to them bully's without a search warrant ever again!

You don't need to talk to CPS personnel you have the right to refuse to talk to them and slam the door in their face. People don't realize that the CPS case workers don't have any real power. I worked as a CPS case manager and I would arrive to people's home WITH police presence and they had the right to not answer the door and slam the door in our faces. It was their choice you can refuse to let CPS see your children and you can refuse to talk to them.

What you see on social media isn’t always true. CPS doesn’t show up multiple times within one week, if they determined the children are okay. Trust me, I was a social worker for 10 years. They have a reason for returning and I will leave it at that… 🤔
That's not true depends on what state your in. They showed up to my house multiple times and every time it was bullshit. My exes childs mother kept calling them cause she was upset that we were together. Once I filled harassment on her & sued the CPS & police department for helping her harass me they never came back & closed my file. CPS don't have any authority nor does the police u don't have to let them In your home but I know the law some others don't. No, you can't. The identities are protected. The only way you file a class A misdemeanor is if you have evidence of the person who did it. So like a recording etc or admission from the person. At that point you can strike. Attorney will advise your initial rights but against CPS, the law protect the reporters identity. It's best to listen to the report and record that piece because it can help you narrow down who is doing it.

Wow. My ex used to make the craziest false accusations to CPS over the years without regards to consequences. One was that I fed our daughter to rats and roaches in my basement. Caseworker came over to discover I didn’t even have a basement, rats or roaches. When all the cps cases were closed and he wasn’t getting whatever result he was looking for, she was ultimately falsely put on a national missing children’s list. The root to why he wanted to cause chaos in his child’s life? Because after I dumped him 10 years ago, I never looked back and he refused to move on. I’m not sure what Florida’s CPS is on, but Ohio’s did absolutely nothing about the “false allegations”, so Good Luck!
I’m in temple terrace honey and the 16 month old fell out the second floor window. Neighbor has it on camera. No adults came out only kids and moved the baby off the ground. Ofc the sheriff came but they didn’t ask me nor the neighbor did we see anything nor did CPS come. CPS worker here, you don’t have to get an attorney or let them in. The down side to that is they have the right to talk to them at school without your permission. You can record what you want. You don’t know not one person who is in jail for not opening the door for CPS. Go read your rights. Also we eat regular attorneys up in court because child welfare is not taught in law school state to state in detail.The best attorney is the ones appointed by the court because in family court they are assigned by court room. Which means those lawyers go before the same judge everyday and they are child welfare attorneys or what we call advocates by experience. A high paid attorney can’t rumble with us in court, they just don’t know the business. They get in there trying to act like they are at a criminal trial and we eat them up. Just a little advice, I been doing this 20 Years.

Went through it in Florida and Yah's grace and protection kept our family together. It was horrific.
It's not just Florida. It's Indiana too. I lost mine for almost a year because they said me moving into a motel for a total of 3 days was unstable housing while I waited for my apartment to be ready! 3 days!!! I let them in thinking I had nothing to hide. They saw my kids was fine, asked me to a drug test on the spot and I passed it. Then they said because they counted moving from my old apartment as one move, to the motel as #2, and moving into the new apartment as #3 within less than 30 days. So my daughter's dad went to court and said cuz I smoke cigarettes and drink energy drinks that he saw on Google it's not a good combo and could make you crazy. Google says anything is crazy. But when I injected to that mwss, the judge jumped all over me and down my throat. She took my kids, and I had to jump thru hoops for about a year. The caseworker literally told me, " you know if you don't get them back by 18 mos. Indiana can take your parental rights away, and it'd be such a shame cuz they're so little and so cute. It wouldn't take anything to get them adopted out!"!! Do you know how much I had to bite the inside of my lip and tongue trying not to cuss her and whoop her up one side and down the other! Thank God I got them back, and I'll never ever open my door to them bully's without a search warrant ever again!

You don't need to talk to CPS personnel you have the right to refuse to talk to them and slam the door in their face. People don't realize that the CPS case workers don't have any real power. I worked as a CPS case manager and I would arrive to people's home WITH police presence and they had the right to not answer the door and slam the door in our faces. It was their choice you can refuse to let CPS see your children and you can refuse to talk to them.

What you see on social media isn’t always true. CPS doesn’t show up multiple times within one week, if they determined the children are okay. Trust me, I was a social worker for 10 years. They have a reason for returning and I will leave it at that… 🤔

My exes childs mother kept calling them cause she was upset that we were together. Once I filled harassment on her & sued the CPS & police department for helping her harass me they never came back & closed my file. CPS don't have any authority nor does the police u don't have to let them In your home but I know the law some others don't. I had nothing to hide but coming over and over because of a ignorant x wasn't a good enough reason.

So looked at one of the comments and it says that you can get a lawyer to go to court to figure out who keeps calling CPS on you and file a complaint on them and sue them or even arrest them for false complaints. God is so good.
No, you can't. The identities are protected. The only way you file a class A misdemeanor is if you have evidence of the person who did it. So like a recording etc or admission from the person. At that point you can strike. Attorney will advise your initial rights but against CPS, the law protect the reporters identity. It's best to listen to the report and record that piece because it can help you narrow down who is doing it.

Wow. My ex used to make the craziest false accusations to CPS over the years without regards to consequences. One was that I fed our daughter to rats and roaches in my basement. Caseworker came over to discover I didn’t even have a basement, rats or roaches. When all the cps cases were closed and he wasn’t getting whatever result he was looking for, she was ultimately falsely put on a national missing children’s list. The root to why he wanted to cause chaos in his child’s life? Because after I dumped him 10 years ago, I never looked back and he refused to move on. I’m not sure what Florida’s CPS is on, but Ohio’s did absolutely nothing about the “false allegations”, so Good Luck!

I’m in temple terrace honey and the 16 month old fell out the second floor window. Neighbor has it on camera. No adults came out only kids and moved the baby off the ground. Ofc the sheriff came but they didn’t ask me nor the neighbor did we see anything nor did CPS come. I promise they only bother the mothers who are really mothering and let this incubators get away with everything.

I used to work for CPS. Trust and believe she's only there because she has to be. Not allowing her to see your children only drags the case out longer, and could result with a warrant for your arrest. She has to see the children so she'll be back which is only going to annoy you.
If she has to be there, why is she asking for permission to come in than to go get a court order and say “here is a court order”? What’s wrong with obtaining a court order if you can get it?

Peach …. I too go thru this . I have 12 kids . We live in a good neighborhood, they all have everything, bc they are good kids. And we work hard to give them the best life we can afford . My kids tired of it and so am I. Jealousy is real . I’m always like y’all need to be helping the kids that really in trouble , wasting tax dollars . I’ve cried to my husband like what are my right ? , damn ……. My husband and I get along , we run a tight ship , kids stay clean, pantry full, kids get good grades, in activities they like , oh he must be beating me . Because my house in order. This happens to women with a lot of kids too . Praying for the family!

CPS worker here, you don’t have to get an attorney or let them in. The down side to that is they have the right to talk to them at school without your permission. You can record what you want. You don’t know not one person who is in jail for not opening the door for CPS. Go read your rights. Also we eat regular attorneys up in court because child welfare is not taught in law school state to state in detail.The best attorney is the ones appointed by the court because in family court they are assigned by court room. Which means those lawyers go before the same judge everyday and they are child welfare attorneys or what we call advocates by experience. A high paid attorney can’t rumble with us in court, they just don’t know the business. They get in there trying to act like they are at a criminal trial and we eat them up. Just a little advice, I been doing this 20 Years.
