Hey brother , do you recommend synthetic 5W40 or mineral 15w40 for an old car like the safari Dicor ?also how frequently do you suggest oil change
Sir in our Indian climate , as per my thinking , 6-7k is the best you can go in an oil change , after that , its a compromise.
And if you are running mineral oil then 5k would be a nice time to get it changed.

I want to ask why do you use diesel in the engine before draining the old engine oil. What is it's use. I have never seen any mechanic pouring diesel in engine before draining. Please can you explain.

There is a certain amount of play designed in the system by manufacturer . So we can't eradicate it completely
You can change the rubber bushings of gear linkage (can see in video th-cam.com/video/dyLrOjtwf4k/w-d-xo.html) but it will also correct the play to the extent of company's designed system specification.
Thank you, I will go through it. Actually, it is not the normal play b/w the points, it is extra play. The gear lever will move from left to right and vice-versa for about 2 cm without any pressure. After that only the gear is moving.

It will be really helpful of u if u plzz tell what to do if the clutch pedal of a safari dicor is very hard mine is really hard
Firstly You need to bleed air out of clutch hydraulic system
N if that did not work then change hydraulic fluid
Because safari has self adjusting clutch pedel which will never get hard throughout its life
So it can be just air in the system or u need new dot4 hydraulic fluid

Sir one thing with wipers are that no matter which brand you go for , they will only last one season , if they are Chinese they will last one season , if they are from hella aero wipers they will also last just one season , so go for decent normal priced wipers

Bro, can we use engine flush for every oil change, or its not necessary for every oil change,,,,? Any, side effects,,,?
Sir its not advisable
Oil flush is a harsh and corrosive chemical compound , which can effect the soft metel parts inside engine( piston rings , crank slip bearings,etc) and can also make the life of rubber gaskets short and eventually led them to cracking and start to leak
If you perform oil changes on regular intervals then you can use it after 2 years , means on every third service

Sir on the bright side it helps to clean the internals of the engine, but nobody tells you about the danger to the rubber seals and o-rings which helps to keep the engine sealed and never let the oil leak outside , as its a corrosive chemical it dries up any rubber part , it came in contact with and a dried o-ring or. Seal is good for nothing , so eventually oil will start to seal from places like crank seal , pan gasket etc ,
So that's my concern , usually it doesn't happen to a new vehicle , but any vehicle which is more than 2-3 yrs old in our country's climate is at risk .

Hi my tata safari has a low pickup and exhaling black smoke. Please do let me know what may be the issues. I have recently changed my AMF sensor and in scan there is no error. Do let me know the possible issues with solution. If you can contact me it will be great help.
Sir there can be 3 things ,
1. Clogged egr valve or cooler
2. Intercooler needs to be cleaned
3. Clogged catlytic converter which needs cleaning

Ku ki or kafi product aatey hai engine flush ke jese LIQVID MOLLY KE ENGINE FLUSH vo use kerny sahi hai ya nhi .
Ya fir diesel se flush sahi hai .iss se gadi ke engine m koi fault to nhi aaye gaa naa.

I saw my oil pan, it was like your oil pan. Maybe it is leaking.What could be the possible reason? Every 1000kms i have to add one quart oil.

Sir How much coolant we need for safari dicor 2.2??and how oftenly we have to change fuel filter??brake oil and differential oil??
Sir coolant required is around 6Ltrs ( total including block as well )
Fuel filter is supposed to be changed at every 60k kms but my suggestion is to change it at 40k as the quality of our fuel varies pump to pump
Brake fluid - either 40k kms or 2yrs
Differential fluid 70k or 4 yrs

Sir for safari , the annual oil change is at 10k kms or 1 yrs whichever is earlier
For that you need to change the engine oil ( 15w40 ) along with the oil filter ( either fleetguard or purolator ) , air filter ( OEM tata or mahle ) , clean the MAF sensor , clean and check the brakes rotors and pads ( both front and rear )
And bleed the brakes and clutch system for any air bubbles and top up the hydraulic fluid reservoir if needed , lubricate the steering pin in case of safari dicor ( doesn't apply for storme )
Get the underbody washed and let the front heat exchanger ( radiator, condenser and intercooler) get some spray of water to clean the deposited dust inside the fins

If the air blower is making too much of noise but not throwing sufficient air that means you have a chowked cooling coil
You need to get it cleaned
I guess the amout of gas required is 600gms ±20 gms of R134a

This oil change costs me only 2700 INR + If u want to change air filter its for 290 + the cost of diesel
So its almost 3000 INR
N suspention can be done in almost 15000 INR and clutch is for 9000 INR
For a vehicle of this size these costs are not high .

Yes you can wash your engine
But keep in mind that injectors sit in a cavity and water can flood it, and wait for the engine to cool down before spraying it with water
