Totally Legit Gaming [TLEG] it's because of the hydraulic steering rack! Even my NC has it. That, coupled with my stage one suspension (Tokico HTS shocks and flyin miata springs) makes the car feel like it's on rails. I'm putting on a cosworth supercharger some time in the next year 👌🏼
There is still a big difference in feel between the two racks. I’ve had 3 94R package cars with the manual rack and an 95M edition with the power. The power rack makes the car feel more nimble but jumpier, I can take the turns but I have less confidence in the actual amount of grip. More faith based compared to the manual rack. You know what you’ve got at all times. It’s much harder to auto-x the manual rack as the ratio is different.

I completely disagree. A properly designed turbo kit wont need any maintenance. Mine has been issue free for over 2 years. They are very simple and not alot of failure points
I’d gladly trade away 15 hp for the smooth, linear power delivery of a roots blower. Dealing with nonlinear turbo spool in a SWB car like a Miata would get frustrating.
Thats because people still buy shitty turbos. Got myself a Borg Warner EFR 6758 on a build 2 Litre VVT MK 2.5. 370 HP on the engine and its running linear as fuck.
They already did a K swap Civic vs modern Type R Civic. They also did an Integra Type R vs modern Type R and a turbo Civic vs Modern Type R. TL;DW: Modern Type R is faster, but all other Hondas have VTEC, higher rev limiter, and more fun to drive. The K swap Civic gets nearly as good performance on the track as the 10th gen Civic Type R.

The NA was probably a depowered steering rack which is a powersteering rack with all the power components removed. Definitely an acquired taste, but once you get used to it you can sling it around like a powersteering car.

MP62 isn't a "screw" type supercharger. it's just a old "root" type. the internals are different.
