    Saving up for one, expensive toy but I’m sure it’s worth it. My new retirement hobby.

    If anybody’s seen that video of the 3 year old girl snowboarding through the woods and talking to herself as she goes, that’s what Damo sounds like in this video! Pure joy baby!

    I am looking to get a board. I am a huge fan of snowboarding. I also rip around on a onewheel GT every week. What size board/ wings should I get to get a similar feel?

    • @ElitePWNSFace
      @ElitePWNSFace หลายเดือนก่อน

      I def want to rip turns

    • @LiftFoils
      @LiftFoils  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The smaller the board and the smaller the aspect of the wings will give you high carve. But it can be a bit more challenging to get the feel for the board starting on a quick setup like that. Also unfortunately weight is a factor in board selection. Depending on your size a 4'9 board can give you the most versatility allowing you to swap out wings to enhance the feel.

    • @mjanek20
      @mjanek20 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't think so. I've been researching it and you need to get the battery on-board. You cannot put everything in the check-in luggage. Also the equipment is quite fragile. I'd be angry if something would break on the airport. I think this sport has a very "rental" potential.

    Great video. Okay.... I've been on my Lift 5 foot since last July and now in the next month I will be upgrading to a 4.2. In your video you are hull riding for longer than I imagined right. My biggest concern is the smaller hull in any chop will make crashes. I've been advised by some that the standing up move could be done on-foil in chop?

    • @matthewperreault2348
      @matthewperreault2348 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Started on a 5footer. Took me 6 months of riding my 4ft2 to be fully comfortable. Many times during those 6 months i questioned if i had made the right choice to go so small. Now i can say without a doubt, i am glad i got the smallest board. Chasing swells and loving it. Next progression to downsize my front wing from a 170HA to the 90!

    Yeah, it's ok to just buy one if you are rich I guess...Otherwise, for the majority, this is just out of bounds. In Europe, the cost is around 7000E!!! And this is the cheapest.

    User friendly for beginners DO NOT apply to the 4.2. Please let’s send the right message. Family and kids will have a much better experience with a 5 and bigger board. 👍🤙
    P.S. I pulled the trigger twice, a 5.4 and a 4.2 😻
