Boy I remember the 2006-2009 350 and 500 motors throwing teeth off the cam shaft balancer sprocket. That was a suit MB wanted to settle quick but unfortunately theres still alot of unknowing persons out there buying used MB with thoes motors and getting a p0015 or p0016 code for timing being out. I learned alot from your video about that issue. Thanks for all your videos.

I have E320 2001 ,the 6 cylinder low compression 46,percent ! Can I change the piston with out removing the engine ?! Or you recommend me change whole engine is better idea ? Thanks advance

I hardly ever heard of low compression engine on the 112 engines, this are literally bulletproof engines I don’t think I’ve changed piston on these engines even once, I may have done timing and stuff of that nature but I don’t remember running into a low compression engine unless head gasket was blown or was out of timing, regardless, if you are here in the United States changing the whole engine Will be much cheaper, you can get this engines for as low as $500

Hi, I appreciate if you can give me a hint if I describe the symptoms. I have a 2008 W204 C350 with 143 00Km. I noticed today when I parked after a 40Km trip and it idle in PARK, I hear a slight tickling noise that sounds like it want to drive (engage)the driveshaft or right rear wheel after I climed out to open the gate. It stops if I set the car in DRIVE or REVERSE. I am a gentle driver all the time. I feel zero vibrations or noises when driving. I may have heard this before but forgot about it.
What do you think this sounds like-?

Hi, I start it in the garage cold today , no sound, then drive it 5Km no sound, return park it in front of gate, sound. Open gate drive it in garage, no sound. I only could replicate this in front of my gate which as an incline of lets say 3-5 degrees not much. Footbreak make no difference.
I feel a strong vibration through both exhausts at the tips but thats probably normal. Engine looks the same as always vibrationwise.
You cannot see anything, and I felt the wheel, theres no pulsating.
I will look at exhaust and see if I can find anything at joints.
Hi , I found it on another video I cannot do it better: As he put it in park you hear a slight rumble, so far I only get it in my driveway after a trip.

Leo Leon very good chances, what is your problem?
Leo Leon, please dont say its got a CEL with a p0015 or p0016 code for timing. Thats about a $7500 fix because the motor has to be removed to access the back of the balance shaft. MB Tech did a great video about it. Its the 350 and 500 motor from 2006 to 1st half of 2009. This guy is the best MB mechanic in the world. If I wasnt in Springfield Mo. he'd be the only person touching my cars.

A lot of things can go wrong but many things were probably repaired already

Someone else worked on it and fucked it up…
That's some shady stuff (forcing the cover on & silicone the gap). I would feel bad for the customer...if it wasn't a 90,000$ suv😉....they can probably choke up the 8000$ for a new engine.
We see a lot of stuff like that st the shop.
