Your videos contain a more in-depth walk-through of the individual games than any other video segment in (on?) the network.

This is a decent game, but a variant to let you get all your stuff back if you lose a bid is a safety net for poor sports. Good for playing with newbs, but after that, I recommend taking the training wheels off.

One of the things that gets on my nerves the most sometimes is a game that takes itself too seriously. Let's face it...it just isn't fun to lose all of your cash and have nothing to show for it, and then play a catch-up game for the rest of the time knowing that you probably aren't going to have a chance at winning or even showing well.
I can see where you're coming from, Sam. This can make for a good light game, and catch-up mechanisms are worth having. On the other hand, I also think the tension of putting everything on the line can be very exciting, and the excitement of winner-take-all can eclipse the disappointment of bringing home bupkus. This is one of those cases of drawing a distinction between playing to win and those playing not to lose. I was wondering if you'd have a chance to play Dominare? I know Tom is a fan, and it builds upon Revolution in many ways.

I have played this twice but, don't really care for it. It feels like rock, paper, scissors with area control. The most strategy I found was trying to figure out where everyone else was trying to go and avoid them. Except if you keep avoiding everyone they will win.

My wife and I shopped at Main Street Sweets frequently...but we weren't avid antique shoppers.

Don't play with Sam's variant, makes the game less tense and less fun. Great game, best with 4.

Maybe so...but keep who you're playing it with in mind, too. It may be a good variant to use do that your opponents enjoy the game, too.
