Nvidia is the apple of the GPU market. For both good and bad.
Bro I was just about to say that, and AMD is like Samsung,
Trueeeeee as fuck, amd graphics shutters a lot in gaming just like android but nvidia doesn't regularly
Then amd CPU is the apple of cpu
@@galangmoises amd is like realme 😂
@@manashroy6731LMFAO 🤣
AMD beats Nvidia when it comes to value and raw performance but Nvidia has very reliable cards with some really useful features.
True! However, most of the features are well replicated more consistently by amd, and I haven't had any issues with my amd card yet.
Nvidia = Apple
AMD = Realme 💀
Even AMD have high specs with low price. Nvidia alwat wins.
Idk my new nvidia 4090 doesn’t not feel reliable at all after seeing all the cables burning up and damaging the gpu and high 40 series gpus cracking. Kinda wish I went AMD. Drivers issues can be fixed easily via updates. A dead gpu can’t fixed via updates.

Why not? Even a used 50 dollar 970 would be something

Team Radeon all the way, people who say amd drivers suck don’t know what they are talking about, I’d even argue adrenaline is better than Nvidia control panel now, that ui looks like it was last updated in 1995, yeah there is GeForce experience but it does not have all the functionality of control pannel
I think i will buy Amd cuz i really but i really dont care about ray tracing . I dont wait to my png face be reflected etc
If the idea of driver gremlins really bugs people, then PC is not the platform for them anyway. Both sides have always had, and always will have, driver gremlins. Buying nVidia is not a solution.
Now if you wanna talk functionally… yes you’re likely to encounter some more issues on AMD. But the impact on your overall experience owning the card is gonna be pretty slim.
I’ve used both. Started with Radeon integrated graphics, upgraded to a 3070, and I just received a 7900xt today. Both options are good but it’s really just best to shop around for the best value. Ain’t no way I’m paying 200-400 more for the same performance with Nvidia.
Also I’ve never experienced driver issues from AMD. It’s most likely people who uninstalled their previous drivers incorrectly and complained about it before attempting to fix it.
@@EverBread1another cause of issue could be windows installing whatever drivers they want and to causing issues
Dude fr. Fucking love adrenaline software
prices: AMD
performance: NVIDIA
content creation: easily NVIDIA
just for gaming: easily AMD
for gaming and content creation: NVIDIA
drivers: easily NVIDIA
upscaling, ray tracing, software: NVIDIA
hope this helps.
So i should get amd because im only gonna play videogames.
in most cases, yes, however this is just a rough teardown on the general specs. you should do more research first. happy PC building!@@Operationdrilly.
AMD beats Nvidia for raw performance in nearly every tier, it's only ray tracing and the 4090s they can't compete with atm
Also AMD drivers are actually pretty good and their adrenaline software is cleaner looking and easier to use than Nvidia geforce imo
Bro If I have inbuilt graphic card so can I buy cheap dedicated graphic card plz reply
@@GoSearch-lm8gj do you mean your CPU has integrated graphics?
AMD 7800XT I just bought chews up every game I throw at it and spits it out while staying at a cool 40-50 degrees
I have the same one, I don't think i ever seen it hotter than 55.
yeah right... try cyberpunk with ray tracing
Holy moly I've gotta upgrade to a 7800 XT or wait till the new RX 8000 series comes out, my current RX 5600 XT is nice but runs a bit hot (70-80°c at med/max graphics pushing 120-144 fps) but man I wanna upgrade to 1440p gaming
@@delayedplayer even if you wait til 8000 series, I'd recommend the x800 line of cards since they're usually the best bang for buck, and cant go wrong with a used 7800xt that will be even cheaper once 8000 series comes out.
@@ryzen7428Sure, with FSR upscaling and frame gen I feel no difference than some small quality drop. But ray tracing isn't worth it yet anyway, no matter the GPU.
AMD freesync premium is much more accessible than g-snyc because it is not proprietary, and does the job just as well.
Edit: It's similar for the other features. AMD anti-lag and super resolution work with all games, not just specific ones. While neither is amazing quality they still just work for everything consistently which is nice. The features aren't better they're just different. Only feature that is directly much better is RT (and NV1 encoding), nvidia has gotten it much better.
AV1 is on intel arc too
You left out the part about how all of AMD's implementations of the features are open source and don't require current generation hardware to use, while Nvidia locks the use of the software to their 40 series. You also don't need a proprietary connector with current gen AMD cards. Let's not forget that same connector has been blowing up for 2 years straight, filling computer repair joints with dead 4090's.
To get 16 gigs of VRAM on Nvidia side, you need to either overpay for a card not powerful enough to need it, or spend close to $1,000, when you only need to pay half of that for an AMD card.
Since you focused on nvidia's "highlights," It's only fair that I post some of AMDs.
You want to play Cyberpunk with Path tracing, Nvidia
You don't care bout ray tracing and just want the best performance for value, AMD
You have unlimited money and get the best for the best, straight up 4090
ya but that gpu is very expensive i say 4070 is best option
@@aganbraganca4156 I literally said if you have unlimited money
@@aganbraganca41564070 ain‘t cheap either, if ur willing to cash a lot of money for a graphics card, might as well go for the best of the best
G-Sync arguably isn't much of a feature anymore. Very few monitors actually use the G-sync hardware--they just use Freesync and are g-sync compatible.
Amd why ?
Dont need ray tracing
need less electricity
The cooler is smaller
Its cheaper (6800xt was cheaper then a 3070/3070ti when i bought it)
I had NVDIA GPUs and just had a lot of problems
FSR 2. 0 works even on a rx580 becorse AMD has a longer GPU support
BUT if i would need to work like editing video or 3D model stuff i would use NVDIA
Actually most people don't have problems with their nvidia card and ray tracing is also a optional thing. You can play games without ray tracing and ray tracing in amd is very bad that's why lot's of people buy nvidia beacuse they wants to play old games in high graphics buy using. Nvidia is the clear winner for 4k gaming
@@rd3munna812 amd 7000 series is about nvidia 3000 in terms of ray tracing so not the worst but def not best.
the nvidia 4000 series is much better with power efficiency than amd cards, nvidia drivers still more stable and better, dlss still better than fsr, vram is the only thing amd has to offer. I had so many problems with amd drivers and black screens that i wont buy it anymore, no matter if nvidia is 3x the price.. Peace of mind and stable system is much more valuable for me.

I currently have an rx 6950 xt and even though fsr is a replacement to dlss I hate it right now, when fsr 3.0 releases then I wouldn’t mind getting some graphical artifacts for an AMAZING performance increase
I’ve found FSR 2.1 to be alright. 1.0 is completely unusable and unfortunately far too common. I tend to use XeSS where available, although it doesn’t offer nearly as good a performance improvement as FSR, image quality is definitely better.

Finna get an Imac and boot camp windows 💀
As an owner of the most powerful intel mac, dont. Mac is absolutely insane for everything that isnt gaming related. Just wait till company start to port their game on sonoma to see if a newer M serie mac would be an option too

@@blueeple Still a terrible option especially for gaming since most games don't even run on macs
They are both good and I'm glad for the competition between the two. I'd like to see intell GPU's compete at a higher level. And I'd really like to see Nvidia get into the cpu market.
I love both
Amd got fluid motion and fsr to get fake frames like nvidia dlss. And freesync which is the same as g-sync
Only reason I went for Nvidia is due to productivity differences. But if we want better pricing schemes from Nvidia we need more support for AMD. Though I doubt they'll care due to their focus on AI.
Whats the notes site he used to compare the gpus??
It's logicalincrements.com/articles/graphicscardcomparison. Pretty useful if you just want a general comparison
in my country i can get a rtx 3060 for around €300 (w a good deal 280) while a rx 6700 xt is €480 should i just get a rtx 3060 12gb
i meant €380 oops
Claro que sí
Intel arc is my choice personally
Good to know, but i would've choose amd gpus instead, because they are supportive towars open-source software & it's community, & amd has alot of vram in their GPUs, & amd's GPUs of course work amazingly when they are paired up with amd CPU respectively
you're an outlier to the society
my PERSONAL experience is that Radeon cards give me issues. display drivers constantly crashing. trouble shooted for weeks and the problem never happened to be my PC. Just the drivers. only time my games crash or hang with Nvidia is when im fcking around with the video settings without restarting my game
Bias towards GPUs? Nah fam, we Fractal Design case shills 😍
Thanks, this is the first video that ACTUALLY gave information on the difference.
I wish NVIDIA had an indicator for using DLSS when enabling it
Where the system attempts to find if it has a GPU bottleneck and gives the DLSS a check mark for performance will be gained or a dash for no performance gain
I believe that’s what DLSS is for right? A GPU bound system
Open-source drivers >>> Proprietary drivers

If you purchase ONLY for gaming
AMD looks good
But productive na
Those CUDA cores better better performance in most video editing software through hardware acceleration.
Ray tracing and nvidia features are quite helpfull in 3D designing softwares.
Open gl , x24 is crappy.
I USED both cards and saw the performance.
I also saw most softwares like Adobe animate, after effects run better on Nvidia cards.
nivida for animation,3d model and streaming - amd for gaming (:
Intel Arc and nvidia RTX
I bet that rx 6600 and rx 6700 XT will still be popular in the next 5 or 6 years
The thing is both are so costly here
i have new 6600 but i still love my 1660ti
Both are great, depending on your needs and your preferences.
Both have their strengths and audience. But it’s crazy to me how many people write off amd
Nvidia for gpu, AMD for cpu
When have been said “ lacking behind “ how behind is it , does I care ? Will software updates have amd gpu software not lacking behind ? If “ yes it’s possible “ than what amd gpu should I get so that I be eligible to get the software updated working …
Imma get an amd 7600 xt for because its just a little faster than a 4060 and has 16gb ram making it so you can have better resolutions.
What's the background music?
Nvidia has a slightly better performance. But Amd is cheaper.
So in my opinion amd is better
Alternative for rtx 3050?
I know that Nvidia beats AMD in rendering in programs like Blender, Unreal Engine or in games with ray tracing and good AV1 and it is using something called CUDA cores. But mainly even if I would like to buy to play some raster based game is, that AMD should take more electricity so the Nvidia is cheaper. Is it right or do I have some misunderstandings or gaps?
There are a lot of factors here. The extra cost due to power consumption varies a lot depending on where you live and it might not be that big in the end. You also have to take into account the amount of hours your PC is actually under heavy load. If you game 7 hours a day it'll have a bigger impact of course. And lastly the power consumption is different for each card, some cards in the same series might be less efficient than others.
I'd look at a specific card and their equivalent from both AMD and Nvidia and check the difference in power consumption. Then figure out how many hours a week you actually use the PC on heavy load. Factor in the kWh price at your location and you can calculate the actual cost and decide whether it's worth it.
How do AMD video cards do on video editing tasks vs NVIDIA?
Nvidia has a better encoder
yes
Tight on budget so planning to buy i5 12400f with rx 6600 16/32 gb ram for editing and gaming ,can u guys tell me abt it
Whats your budget for ram? Im planning on getting a 32gb kit that costs 61.99 with no rgb and 69.99 for rgb. This might save you some money.
I went for amd after 😂 thinking about nvidia all the time but the price to performance caught my eye in amd
It's like iPhone Apple vs Android.

@@ryzen7428 first of all have you ever tried amd?
Even though my PC uses a 3060, I still don't run ray tracing. I'd rather use it for performance instead.
Honestly raytracing it's only for single player games, But I find Myself mostly all of the time not using raytracing.
Basically
If you are a high end gamer and want all the features of Nvidia then choose Nvidia
If you are a budget to mid end gamer then choose AMD
I don’t use nvidia specifically because I despise them as a company. I don’t want them getting a penny from my pockets

I love my 7900 XTX. Its not a 4090 but its still one of the best gpus on the market. Beats the 4080 in alot of benchmarks to. Also FSR3 is a pretty good alternative to dlss3.
FSR3 still lacks behind DLSS3 by a reasonable amount tho
I disagree. FSR3 is on the same level and it works on all gpus. FSR3 is a massive game changer for radeons to. It just needs more game support.@@gladiator_prime

3080= 700€ /10gb vram 💀
WHOSE IDEA WAS TO MAKE HIGH END CARDS JUST FOR THEM TO RUN OUT OF VRAM.
Kudos to the Nvidias tactic to force people upgrade due to vram not being enough,
cause nvidia got nothing that touches the performance of that.
4070ti> rx 7900xt stomps (12 vs 20gb vram)
3080ti= rx 6950xt stomps (10 vs 16gb vram)
3060ti= rx 6700xt stomps (+4gb more vram)
😅
if you plan on getting an amd gpu, get one from a brand that only sells for amd, if you get one like msi, it has a higher chance of breaking
Is there evidence of this or is this a conspiracy theory?
The only thing nvidia has over amd, beside the 4090 crazy performance, is dlss. Like that frame gen is way better than fsr. And no one care about raytracing. Maybe like 10 rich dude might be, but the rest? Nah.
The only reason I'm going with Nvidia is because of ray tracing which amd doesn't do as well but if you don't care about ray tracing and you only game amd is the clear better option.

Coil whine is such an easy fix though.
Undervolt for coilwhine, if it still happens in titles with hundreds of frames just limit the framerate (had cw in val at 600fps, limited to 240 cuz it wouldn't make a difference anyway and the cw is gone)
Coil whine depends purely on how the AIB partner manufactures the card, it happens with both companies with the same model.
