basically when you are further away from the angle that your opponent is holding, you will see more so you swing less (dont go into his crosshair) but when you are closer to the angle that your opponent is holding you see less so you swing more
i love these coaching vids bro u really helped me out, applying the techniques from these videos helped me rank from silver 2 to plat 2 in like the span of one month thanks a lot bro
good players knows that sitting in a corner=death, they will continue to peek and re-peek from the corner to create a small off-angle and timing to get peekers advantage. so shift peeking cause of angle advantage is not it in that scenario.
Actually very helpful and logical. If you're gonna see the guy first, taking it slow is better. Sure, he might end up peeking you first but you still got the advantage as imagine if you both peeked quickly at the same time - it would be a fair duel if the timing is perfect. So, being in a position to stop FASTER than the enemy through shift-walking or just stopping momentarily if you think you're gonna get peeked, is probably going to be easier to win the gunfight than if you were to be already running as you get deadzoned by the enemy. That, and angles never stop being against someone if they peek from a bad one.
but you should always use utility to peak if you don't have information, like a sova drone, and then when you know where they are, then flash or concuss and that's the best time to apply these peaks
My man i love this movement/peeking videos cuz i was cs go player for a long time and its very different in valorant i have very bad habits like crouching spray crab walk etc... My muscle memory is used to cs go and i struggle alot in valorant
Wait so when you are shift peeking because you are farther away, do you continue to hold shift until your crosshair is on their head? Or do you wait to see their shoulder, and then quickly tap their head letting go of shift?
@@sondo301_ Well ofc you would clear angles but you wouldnt apply the peeking methods you mentioned in this vid. You're always gonna full swing a corner when rushing. Just an example.
I could be wrong, but hear me out. When you are rushing a site, you want to use as much utility to HELP clear those angles FASTER. For example, molly an angle, flashing onto site etc. You also have to consider that when you are rushing a site you have 4/5 players helping clear those angles, and trading them if something goes wrong. In both cases, you still have to clear your angles, but you have more util and people to do it.
Bruh other valorant tips on TH-cam say don’t shift peek and fully walk and jiggle peek then wing peek now this video tell us to shift peek I don’t know which valorant tip i should listen to
How should i peek on defense? I mean, we can be able to fight no just with one guy, they could be five there, how can i take that kind of figths?when we had to do it
okay i dont know this guy. never heard of him. But this is the kind of coaching that represent a true coach. Too many useless coaches be wasting your time trying to make u play from zero asking u to unbind your crouch or telling you to stop crouching or to not buy vandal or to lower your sensitivity bla bla bla. When u got that type of coaches is when u should know to stay away because all that is just style of play. it may work for him but not for many others. Because many other radiants be crouch killin ppl or using vandal or phantom or not have their crouch unbind or play in high sens etc. It's annoying but there is lots of fake wannabe coaches
In reality you can't peek all corners without getting exposed to many lines too much time. If I strictly follow your advises I will get timed by the enemy. In practice you have to wide swing the corners or you'll be too slow/exposed.
I feel like this helps a lot but also a lot off us are going to do nothing with this information because when your actually in the fights you kinda just go auto pilot and forget everything you've just learnt, I think that's also a lot off people's problems
0:37 the first minute of watching this vid alr smh, don't do this "immediate spray". That's bad. Try learning how Asuna, f0rsaken, Derke, Foxy9, and Jinggg clears angle. That's how u want to do it even u know if sage were there
th-cam.com/video/FQtQjZUTBOk/w-d-xo.html this is an example of how u clear angles. Just do this, nothing flashy or unnecessary wide-swinging. This habit is good if u want to improve. Especially if yall are ascendants shudve known this basic peeking.
So if we're farther from the angle, shift peek/slice the pie and if we're closer, wide swing
This is what I've been looking for for months ever since I've started playing valorant. I'm currently bronze and got so frustrated. This helps.
2 episodes in a row in D1 - applying this as much as i can to my gameplay
I love that guide man, keep it up.
Thank you for making me climb my ranks faster.
"If you suck at first then that's literally a part of getting better" I really really suck at this game but still thanks NO BS.
Hey man there’s a bright road ahead of you if you keep going.
Don't you hate it when you accidentally do a shitf peeking
Lol

This is a great video. Anyone coming from csgo should have learned this over the years and reimplement this into valorant
This is insanely good and concise content
2:26 :POV me jumped on the box and helicopter spray
Yesterday y learn this from a guy on valorant teached me, today i saw this video and get it more clear. Thanks men! :D Awesome
great video honestly i learned a lot
me 2
I needed this now i can have some payback to those who try this and then crouch spray to further throw crosshair placement
This took angle advantage to a different perspective.
Gotchu man

dude this is really helpful. I'll try appl;ying it to my plat games ty
Something in my head just clicked.
i will leave comment cause i liked this video
Problem is, I never know where they are and even if I preaim, as soon as I swing a corner I get onetapped
Keep practicing. Cut all hesitation out.

All that matters is that you learn this.
The guy isn't a real ascendant lmfao he so fucking boosted
ur team in diamond will never know this stuff. but if you learn it for yourself you won't be in diamond for long
These peeks depend on the situation. What if you wanna rush a site? You're not always going to apply these shift peeking methods.
Rushing means not clearing angles?

would you really want to shift peak close angles tho if they could be swining in and out of the angle ?
Yes because they are holding.
