    Pro tip Benny. Fold up your pin out cheat sheet with your wiring notes and tape it to the back of the cluster inside the dash.
    Then, in a few years, you (or the next owner) won't have to go through re-measuring all the wires to remember what's what if you ever need to change or add anything.
    Love the cresta, greetings from the UK!

    A side note for anyone replacing their entire cluster for any aftermarket dash, some cars like skylines, etc, uses the factory speedo to convert the AC signal from the vehicle speed sensor to DC before going to the ecu so with the factory cluster missing, the ecu won't have a speed signal and you may run into issues like power steering not working and flatspots while accelerating, etc so you'll either have to use a separate signal convertor to convert the signal or use a separate GPS speed signal module to the ecu.

    The T at the bottle sounds more reliable, at the rad cap it would favor one bottle over the other.

    • @beefcakeandgravy
      @beefcakeandgravy 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Was going to say this. With separate bottles, and separate pipes to each, when the coolant is drawn back into the rad, if one bottle were to empty first, the other will stop drawing and it will suck air from the first instead of coolant from no. 2. It still might, unless he's linked the bottles together at the bottom with one pipe going to the rad, not just a "Y" in the pipe going to two bottles separately. Ideally one larger bottle would have been better but as he said, space is an issue here.

      Brian Dirou the ic7 part is the easy bit. Each car is different in the way it mounts , it’s a pretty involved process measuring the entire dash cluster and get everything in the correct location

    • @brhino
      @brhino 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DragoserakerIT = SFA, a good marketing gesture, check their site out $259.99 for every other model car dash. You should have a link Benny. Good luck to them. As I said before the 1st one is a tough job time wise. When you get similar dash layouts just stretch to suit, copy & paste mounts in the program (yes with measurements). I don't claim to be a 'TH-cam Certified Mechanic' but I do know a bit about 3D printing. They better keep their STL files well secured. 👍 No malice intended, just giving you an insight into 3D printing. The files are the asset & piracy is assured in the 3D printing scene.
