5:02 This part just reminded me that you'd think the number of times Ben has been getting warned by the Omnitrix that it is going to detransform him and he is going at a fast pace that he would at least slow down before he de-transform back into you know...himself. But that's just good ol' Ben Tenny.

The animation in this is such a huge improvement! So easy to get lost in the feel of this episode. You've absolutely outdone yourself. I expected to be impressed and I was still impressed. Love that XLR8 design, too, and of course, a huge shout out to Paxton Lee for another killer Ben Tennyson performance. Oh and love your cross earing!

@@luis9639 It's safe to say they sort of all are, ben has legions of life times in his watch, a celestialsapien can literally see the alpha and omega of time, ben can also copy her DNA which is a story I'd really love to see, magic ben.
Kevin can copy any element so long as it is solid, he hasn't yet copied Gwen's floor pads which is indeed solid enough for her or anyone to walk on.

Xlr8 sounds like his voice actor from the original series. Jim Ward. Gwen sounds like Ashley Johnson(Alien Force/Ultimate Alien/Omniverse).

He believes he is weak now, so the Omnitrix reflects?
Depends on how you look at it, in the first episode when Four-Arms grabs Vilgax’s “device” you can see a lightning bolt go from the device and into the Omnitrix, so either Vilgax’s device has corrupted it or Ben is just getting older and the Omnitrix is aging with him.
@mahad adane "and the less the omnitrix functions, the less you will function". I think its both, the omminitrix started failing, so Ben's body started to get bad in response, which caused the omnitrix to fail more, and so in a full cicle

It's him, not the Omnitrix, Azmuth said that in the beginning. This Omnitrix has no cool down so Ben can't time out unless something is wrong with him.
I love how this turned out, especially seeing Ben with conflicting ideas between being a hero and being the one who needs saving.
Nothing wrong with being helped once in a while. Does he think that heros can NEVER ask for help? I mean, hes showed that attitude before, where he's done things without telling anyone
This is so refreshing compared to Omniverse and The reboot. So much better

I think they’re the same person just two branching paths in their timeline. Ben 10K had everything going good for him and did more politics to stay a hero. This Ben kept doing the same thing like in Omniverse and everything went wrong.

Xander, this was amazing! The love you put into this was so palpable. The Diamonhead scene gave me total Homlander vibes, and I got so relieved when the reveal happened.
I also really appreciate Ben's characterization here. His younger self is captured perfectly with how hyped he is for the new omnitrix, contrasted by his older self seeing its very user as a burden, with the kid in present fat having the same fascination, but Ben knowing it's not all games! So well done! And Azmuth saying you're the hero, and the Omnitrix is just a tool, great Omniverse call back!
Also, all the voices were great, especially Xlr8 and Ben's! And loved Eye Guy at the end, great use of body horror!

Wow. That was nice and tough. Even with his omnitrix having a corruption problem, he still uses it to help others. And even he knows not to kill a person and do what he have to do, and becoming part alien now there’s a surprise. I can’t wait to find out in the next chapter. Keep up the great work.
I'm intrigued with vilgax's weapon and what will that have to do with all this
@@dreed138 well I’m still new at this but in the first chapter, it seems that vilgax weapon must’ve cause some kind of malfunction to Ben’s Omnitrix when he pulled it out of Vilgaxs arm. I mean, I did see some electric spark when Ben was four arms and pull the device out, and not to mention Vilgax weapon has the omnitrix symbol on it
He used it for self defense tho, the guy with the gun had no intentions in hurting the little kid
@@terminatora1249 I get that but somehow, what ever happen to the omnitrix when vilgax was attacking with that weapon somehow linked to his transformations to his health, so whenever he transforms, his conditions is getting worse

In episode 3, I suspect they'll have Kevin see Ben's condition and have him help with some background knowledge of some place or person Ben can get help from. Then they travel to find that person.

Ben 10 One Last Time is so cool, especially we see Ben became a grown man in his early 30s during the future.
I'm honestly dumbfounded by this.. I watched Ben 10 as a kid and even now this could pass as a continuation for the original series. I'm frankly moved and impressed. You've done a wonderful thing.. The Darker tone also fits as Ben being an adult would also have more mature methods of contending with threats especially considering Alien lifeforms have tried to literally kill him and cohorts plenty of times in the past.. There is one thing that felt off and that was Gwen, every iteration of the adult Gwen had short hair either as a buzzcut or stopping at her shoulders, the reason for that was aliens had habit of grabbing her long hair which she found annoying at some point. Aside from that which can easily be fixed with a haircut, her pink alien mana form being badass, I honestly believe you've done the show not only justice but also brought a lot of smiles and happiness to a lot of old fans of the series as sort of closure we never really got.. so for that on behalf of everyone Thank You.
An Omnitrix that allows him to see his actions into the future. A new fear-based alien. And some interesting plot? Heck yeah I'll wait for this!

When Ben faced the stranger, he transformed into DiamondHead and killed the man, but then it revealed that it was some kind of thought or maybe Ben's imagination. But I refuse to believe that Ben would do this. And since the Omnitrix seems to be connected to him. When his eyes glowed green, I suspected that the Omnitrix gave Ben a look into the future so he can see what would've happened if he decided to do something rash.

@@ultranam4 I can agree with this. The Omnitrix has sentience and it knows when to let Ben have control or not. Although, (Like when he was forced into Eyeguy) it can also react to Ben's anger or pain, trying to find an alien to help him.

This was awesome. You do visual story telling quite well here and I'm intrigued at seeing that the public divided about Ben rather than being almost universally revered. That new Alien was awesome. And I was scared that Kevin and Gwen may have died during whatever happened in the episode 1 flash back. Glad to see they're alive.
Awesome, absolutely awesome! I loved every second and it never felt flat. The interaction between Ben and the Bounty Hunter was my favorite especially the drowning scene. I felt some genuine fear and pity for the guy when he started pleading, but your animation really enhanced it! Please keep on going I’d love to see what you continue to come up with!

That's not ben prime, you can see in the first episode at around 0:09 that kid Ben wears a green T-shirt, but we know that kid Ben wore a black and white T-shirt, plus in the same video there is a comment that mentions this detail(it's also hearted by the creator of ben ten one last time)

It really depends on who you are asking. The series did have some cool parts but all in all it didn’t hit me emotional the way the classic Ben 10 series did. This includes Ben 10, Ben 10 Alien Force, Ben 10 Ultimate Alien and Ben 10 Omniverse. If people like the reboot series than I am really happy for them. I am not trashing the reboot series and am not saying it shouldn’t exist. Just saying it wasn’t for me. This is just my opinion.
A series about Ben 10k with some gore will be good
Headcannon: Ben did kill that guy as diamondhead, He just used clockwork to bring him back because he knew there was a better way.

Like Family Guy, every other adult cartoon fills it with dirty jokes and stuff like that, but we rarely ever had a good adult cartoons. Bojack Horseman is the main exemption.

Bro, this seems to be amazing. Many thanks for making this new series, I wanted something like this as good as Alien Force or Omniverse.
As a guy who watched ben 10 since a very very young age, I can feel the passion just a huge fan can create. Thank you, trully. My theory is that this omnitrix is much more powerful, so it take too much from Ben's health, more than he can handle. And beyond that, it's clear that his sanity reflects on the watch, so if he's beaten up and tired, the watch is malfunctioning.
That'd make this watch even inferior to the previous versions. I mean hell, the prototype version of the Omnitrix protects Ben from dying.

This was amazing, I've always wondered how an edgier Ben 10 that wasn't bounded by Kid show guidelines would be, this nailed it perfectly, honestly I was shocked when Ben had the thought about outright killing the guy by impaling him with diamondhead.
Damn, it's so awesome that this new series will show the consequences of being the "hero" of the story, seeing the show in a more realistic point of view
Tragedy does not make anything more realistic, misery is part of life just as hope and happiness, that everything is more raw and cruel does not make anything more realistic.

I like the concept of ben growing up into a much darker future other than that happy go future it really gets hooked up.

La animacíon es brutal y los nuevos aliens (incluyendo el del capítulo uno) se siente bastante originales en concepto.
La idea de una serie en la que Ben es mayor y está emfermo, agregando al hecho de que parece ser odiado por la mayoria por las secuelas de sus peleas, le dan un toque especial a la serie.
Tambien resulta apropiado considerando que los fans mas viejos de Ben 10 tienen entre 18 y 23 años como mínimo

A mí en lo personal, me encantó este último alien nuevo. Le da ese toque que le falta a los demás aliens de Ben que parecen muy infantiles. Simplemente magnífico

A little detail I noticed, whether intentional or not, the damage and disfiguration of the aliens tend to stem from the left side of him, where the Omnitrix is on his human form. That is to say, aside from XLR8 and that Hallucinogen alien. But perhaps it's a result of genetic damage combined with mental or emotional trauma that's to blame for this.
I've been on a Ben 10 kick for a while now, bingeing every series. And this compliments it well. I love the themes that you're developing, the idea that that watch is tied to him physically and mentally, more so than usual. And that the watch is killing him, it's like a parasitic relationship. Great job, and I'd love to see where this goes.

3:54 Very minor nitpick, but Petrosapiens are known for being one of the most durable aliens in the show. Ben was able to shrug off being punched off planet, from Galvin Prime all the way to Galvin B. I find it hard to believe that an earth gun could cause cracks in Diamondhead’s arm.
That just goes to show how far he has fallen.
His aliens appear to be sick/weakened so that's prob why
Yeah asmuth said that the omnitrix functions as good as bens health and since he is basically close to dying near the end of the episode his aliens power take a huge hit mostly diamondhead,eye guy and swapfire as they look like crap so
Judging by the state EyeGuy was in, Ben's sick, and as we saw colds do crazy things to Ben's aliens. Plus, Asmuth's speech implies Ben will only be strong if he believes he is, so him thinking of himself as weak or useless would probably cause him to lose a lot of power.
Azmuth said that the new, new Omnitrix is now based on Ben's health. Ben isn't well, so Diamondhead isn't well either. Or maybe since Ben didn't fully transform, his Diamondhead arm isn't as strong as it is since the transformation isn't completed.

Your adding a lot of personal touch when it comes to bens situation that the show couldve involved more of. Like "how grateful are people who get the uncertain help" or "how is alien DNA affecting bens livelyhood as a norm person, especially when we see normalcy in the same shot.
Whatever comes out from this i already love what you did to innovate the show.
It just keeps getting better episode by episode. Him turning into eye-guy gives me a strong feeling we'll see grandpa max or the entire ghostfreak team, honestly whatever it's gonna be, I know it's gonna be amazing
