Ok, I just watched the first few seconds of this video and I thought Wendy just went straight up evil with how she said “no this magic belongs to no boy..” in the darkest voice possible
When Wendy injected the pirates with estrogen and they all started making passive aggressive insults about each other, I got chills. The movie of the year.
Ok, that slap was a shock to me, I knew they would "girl boss" the hell out of Wendy but wow, they've exceeded my expectation. Haven't seen the movie yet, but from all the clips I saw, I get a feeling that Wendy no longer has a crush on Peter, or even if she does, the movie just treats it like a nothing burger. If my assumption is correct then it's a huge slap in the face to the source material (and it's not even the worst change in this movie). Her crush on Peter was one of the major reasons she decided to grow up and embrace her motherhood. But then this Peter's personality got reduced to a plain piece of bread so why not. This makes me appreciate Peter Pan 2003 version more, and I've always loved that movie. Jeremy Sumpter nailed that mischievous, cocky, but innocent nature of Peter, and Rachel Hurd-Wood got that sweet, delicate, and mature aura of Wendy down to the T. P/S: I love that you chose the Flying theme from the 2003 version as the bgm for this video 🤭.
Wokes CAN'T create anything good, they can only infect, parasite, deform and ruin anything good talented creators made. Of course wokeness is a slap to original source material... Always has been!
I agree. Another thing of love about the 2003 movie is the portrayal of Captain Hook by Jason Issacs because he makes Hook scary, cunning, and pedo but he still keeps him funny and cowardly.
What’s funny is that by making Wendy this strong character they negate the point of the original movie which is that Peter Pan and the lost boys didn’t want to grow up.
Just when you thought Disney couldn't possibly have more crap to dump on Peter Pan's face after the steaming pile of disrespect they did to him in Chip & Dale: Rescue Rangers...
I was worried that this movie would suck, but when I saw Wendy leap all those school buses on her Harley, I drenched my tampon in delight! TEN OUT OF TEN
I've just realized what my biggest problem with this movie was. It wasn't about Peter Pan *and* Wendy. They were never a duo, they didn't develop a genuine friendship.
Trust me, they didn't want him in the movie. But his name was the only way to get the audience in the theater, they can only remake things now. They would have much preferred to just make a movie about the Strong Female going to a fantasy island and totally crushing all the opposition before winning the day. They needed Peter in the movie, but that didn't mean they couldn't make him a mostly embarrassing secondary character.
Wendy: No, ThIs MaGiC bElOnGs To No BoY! Well... this magic doesn't belongs to you either. And also, I'm really impressed that Wendy could fight equally against pirates, who use and fight with swords during a long time meanwhile she only played with wooden swords with her brothers a few times.
That's a good first Step but there is still a long way to go. Why is it still Peter Pan and Wendy? It should just be Wendy. Where is the representation for Otherkin? It should be possible to get at least one Wolf- or Dragonkin into this. Shame on you, Disney!
Ah yes, this is what we need. True Woke crossover series, where they use all those toxic males as their slaves... I meant servants to make them look even better.
Even though this video is clearly meant to be comedic it truly hurt to watch as its a perfect example of the attack on boyhood and how we're treating our children as well as the erasure of our culture. It literally felt like I was watching my childhood being ripped away from me.
This movie is so great. I have no words after watching it. Unlike the classic Disney Peter Pan having non-sense magic and vibrant colours. This movie have more a dull and plain environments which close to the reality. Live action is all about reality. However, the movie will be better if Wendy reject to go to Neverland the first place and talk about the journey of Wendy growing up as a brave women leader.
There was this one better live adaptation of peter pen.. It was about peter pen choose to be an adult, leaving his legacy. He is now a dad, but somehow got into his realm again which he need to save his kids

Weak male always has to be included.
They always have to include a man to show how weak he is
The male is always there to show his incompetence. Wendy has to save someone throughout the film to assert her dominance.
Can’t name it Peter Pan and make money off of the original story without him.
Idk who that kid was but that wasn’t Peter- Peter is white with red hair. Not an 9 yr old Indian with a outfit that looks like he got it from the dollar store

How many times will Disney have a female character say they're better than a man? Every single one of them make some sort of phrase like that in every show & movie. It's so trite at this point it's just meaningless.
It is what the majority of women and even what many guys believe. Disney just validates normies' apriori assumptions and feelings about reality.
It’s pandering at its finest
About the same number of times we see the woman as the "prize" for the schlubby male lead. Writing has always been shite. It's just the guys turn to roll their eyes
@@katiePetsy That's tradcon propaganda. Serve women to get a woman basically

Really smart move for Disney to adapt both Peter Pan and Pocahontas in only one film, very cost efficient and a truly inspiring move.

Nothing screams "This will be a great movie" better than; In this movie, male characters gonna be replaced by female characters acting like men.
But men don't act like girlbosses and Karens
And it’s completely unrealistic. Even though it’s a fictional movie, we have to acknowledge the simple fact that men are indeed physically stronger than women. A quick glance at any manual labor job would be an obvious indication.
“… Replaced with Jude Law playing Daniel Day Lewis”. Priceless! 😂🤣😜

Ok, I just watched the first few seconds of this video and I thought Wendy just went straight up evil with how she said “no this magic belongs to no boy..” in the darkest voice possible
We're finally getting all the Peter Pandering we all deserved.
Wow, Disney REALLY went out of their way to tick every box for this film.
I have colossal doubts that the makers of this film would be interested in showing a woman hoping to be a mother, so you shouldn't be very surprised
Wokes CAN'T create anything good, they can only infect, parasite, deform and ruin anything good talented creators made.
Of course wokeness is a slap to original source material... Always has been!
She does not have a crush on Peter. Tinkerbell isn't sassy at all. They hate the source material.
I agree. Another thing of love about the 2003 movie is the portrayal of Captain Hook by Jason Issacs because he makes Hook scary, cunning, and pedo but he still keeps him funny and cowardly.
Why would you appreciate a film that portrays boys as a dumb gender?

I like Drinker but I think Despot is even more enjoyable. He doesn't hold back, he really lets them have it, and in depth. This is one he did already.
I've just realized what my biggest problem with this movie was. It wasn't about Peter Pan *and* Wendy. They were never a duo, they didn't develop a genuine friendship.
They took so much away from Peter what’s the point of him even being in the movie
To humiliate him n to be saved n rescued by Wendy n everyother girlboss in the frickin movie
This just deserves to be ... panned.
It's like those disclaimers on Disney+ will let you know that what you are about to watch is actually entertaining lol
