    Based on your recommendation. I just installed Cakewalk by bandLab. I'm a sonar producer user since forever ago. Used Cubase and PT as well. I admit I was Skeptical being it was Freeware. But, I have to say I've never had such a seamless no problem DAW install as I just had. All my old project files and PI's seemed to migrate over no problem. So far so good. Thanks for your excellent advice and reassurance.

    Great video!!!
    I use DS by Fabfilter as my D-Esser cause of the visual aspect AND with the vocal thickening thingy, I actually do it the old way (that Warren once did a video about) which is recording another take and blending it with the main one, I might sing it a bit differently with minor variations or sometimes I'll sing it the same exact way to make a double.
    When it comes to rap, I usually know how it should sounds so I record multiple takes and multiple adlibs in case I needed them but I never did that trick with Little Alterboy.

  • @sphealwithitxd6720
    @sphealwithitxd6720 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hey thank you so much! May I ask, how do you thicken the vocal track like you did? I know you copy it but I’m unsure how to make it sound like you did

    • @Homestudiosimplifed
      @Homestudiosimplifed  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I used a pitch shifter (Little Altar Boy) to thicken it with 5th harmonics

    Hi again, just wondering if you could help me? Many of the plug ins in the guide seem to be quite expensive or unavailable as they are now discontinued. I do have the VX 64 though:) May I ask did you get these plug ins recently? And if they're unavailable, or too expensive do you have any free alternatives to mix like you do?:D

    • @Homestudiosimplifed
      @Homestudiosimplifed  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There are alternatives to any plugin on the market (pretty much). You just have to look. Keep an eye on the community tab and I’ll post some alternatives there soon.
