I use my Suzuki 2.5 hp four stroke as an auxiliary on my Orkney Coastliner 14 fishing boat. It pushes it along at 5 knts at WOT. Handy back up in case the main outboard has an issue. Like you I'm not sponsored by Suzuki - just agree these are great little outboards.

I have had nothing but trouble with my Suzuki df2.5 which I have had from new for about 4 years (about 30 hours use). The motor exhaust valve got stuck causing the push rod to fall out of position. The dealer was able to fix this without taking everything apart. I have had a lot of trouble getting the outboard to start and it kicks back like a mule. Recently I decided to investigate myself - I found the spark plug was incorrectly gapped (at over 1mm). This was factory supplied so a quality control issue. The service dealer had also overfilled the oil which did not help either. I replaced the spark plug and removed excess oil and for the first time it starts second pull. Maybe it’s OK now, however, I would not recommend this outboard after all my trouble with it.

Good video - have you got the 15” or the 20” shaft ?

Yes on longer journeys running at higher revs it’s not ideal…but at low revs taking your time, say getting into a good fishing spot on a smaller lake, not an really issue… (it’s got character for what it is a small cheap light reliable single cylinder set 4 stroke - apparently they get better when fully run in too).
