I highly respect the fact that she openly admitted that she didn't write her music. Oh well. She's #1 regardless.

Many artists didn't write their own music. Aaliyah was 22 and early into her career and she believed in team work, she actually reached out to many (at the time) unknown producers and writers to work with, resulting in three great albums, preferably "One in a Million" (1996) where she discovered Timbaland and Missy and brought a new sound to R&B, and "Aaliyah" (2001) where she was already established as a major artist seeking colab with those that worked on the project like Static Major, who didn't really get his work out prior to that. When she passed many people bought her album, and got to experience the movement, the growth, and the quality of music they all brought forth.

      Beyoncé the HBIC!
The boss bitch that has been running the industry since her first platinum hit with Destiny's Child.. Pre-Aaliyah death.
Get y'all lives in order. As much as we all want Aaliyah to be here and we all know that she would have been an amazing artist. DO NOT undermine the woman that has been the face of African-American & female powerhouses in the music force.
97% of her life has been devoted to living her dream and setting her foot in stone as an entertainer. And that she has.
Don't come for her. REAL RECOGNIZE REAL!

When i see beautiful creatures that the Almighty father have created, i am convinced that i am must praise him for such a gift. Aaliyah was one of God`s creature, It is him who gave her that beautiful voice, face, talent and all that she has, and remember Jesus said "I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believe in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live'"
These are powerful words for a believer, Aaliyah has finished her road, which is not our case we who still in this life ,our journey is too long so we have to do our best to deserve the right place after this life. I think Aaliyah is there and so many other so this is our turn. RIP AALIYAH

Ella Sandrine And then you find out they are MEN and an abomination to God. I love the persona Aaliyah the voice-the music-the character etc...but she's a boy and that's what is truth. They are all switched up on their sex. They cannot be big stars otherwise .The truth has set us free-but it will piss us off first.

EvaEva NTIH she wasn't a born a boy she was a tomboy. She just like acting and dressing like on most of the time. Google her pictures with girl outfits on and she has on tight pants. Look in the crotch area there isn't any pens bulge sticking out. Even if she tucked the penis back you still could see there are no ball sac down there. She had small breast but she wasn't no male.

Aaliyah s third and final album in which I still have. I have had it since I was 14 is fantastic, beautiful vocals it shows her as a young adult and rock the boat I. which I love is sexual without it being vulgar is a kind of song which takes u to a certain place and I also love I care for you is absolutely fantastic!! is the kind of song u can listen to when ur with ur gf or bf. Aaliyah has left a whole in the music industry who has inspired alot of ppl including artists / up and coming also from around the world. She was a fantastic role model to young people and up. She has really inspired me alot. R.I.P Aaliyah the highest and most exalted one xx

Aaliyah’s drip is bussin . That oversized icy blue jogging suit with an oversized necklace with her initial “ A “ to match paired with her midriff revealing white top & the white bandana . 🤩🤩 It really shows off the style of the early 2000’s , I definitely can see everything Aaliyah wearing coming back into fashion like some of her infamous pieces already have .

I used to own this. It came packaged with her self titled album. It contained a cute Anime intro and had five of her favorite music videos that she had done up to that point. I remember because I had just purchased my first DVD player and that's the only DVD I had to play.
They repackaged it for the tribute album and included "Rock The Boat", but the transfer was crummy and the resulting quality of the DVD was subpar compared to the original.
I had a fire break out in my room a few years ago and lost everything. Including both DVDs. Makes me sad because they were limited edition. I can't find them anywhere now :(

He is very upset about it and is in a lot of pain and the woman is telling him "I'm the better girl for you. Give me a chance. Let me hold you, let me wipe away your tears, let me prove to you that I can love you"...I agree with Aaliyah, It is indeed a very beautiful song.

I'm a huge fan of both Aaliyah and Beyonce, But the fact someone said she is bigger in death explains it all. Her records are old and people still listen to them like they're new. Beyonce had growth over the years since she was younger until today Beyonce had to develop the soul she has in her voice today, unlike Aaliyah she was known for her voice and the way she made her fans feel thru her music, not saying Beyonce doesn't do the same but if Aaliyah would have had the time to grow as a artis
