That‘s a great list. DMX How it’s going down is one of my favorites too. And We Need A Resolution was absolutely fantastic. I have to admit, if I were Aaliyah, my list would include mostly of songs of her own. But she always respected the works of other artists. It‘s a rarity that a person has such a high appreciation level of other artists, she was truly one in a million.
By the way, Sade shares the same birthday like Aaliyah. Happy birthday to both! 🎊🎉🎁

Right! I swear I used to stare at her all the time, still have all her photos. I lived having the same complexion and always styled my hair like hers. She was sweet, classy, so smart and articulate. I am still so blown away by her death, so sad that we will never know what she would have become.

She was born to be a star. So smooth, so much charisma. Very natural. Her voice had such a soothing tone. Aaliyah doing The video drops, all the double takes, laughing, smiling, just having a good time; she made every situation as an entertainer so fun and enjoyable. Really miss that girl.
I remember this. She did a lot of interviews that day. I could tell she was tired but she handle her interviews with Grace and kept it moving. She was always professional and smiled through whatever. I remember hearing people who was around her say they never saw Aaliyah get mad or have a bad or negative attitude. They said her personality & vibe was so positively contagious made you have a good day when everything was going bad. Rip baby girl you are truly missed ✨❤️
Let me remind the fans that this was in July of 2001 she flew overseas and came back just to do 106 and park then Miami and bahamas for rock the boat which shows the reason why she was ready to go home and rest after a summer of press for her album..she was very dedicated to her craft
Aaliyah was so media trained even when tired she worked so hard!!! She fulfilled her duty on this earth I just go back to this and know her soul is in a better place. What an incredible human being! Never another after her to this day.

I was born in 05 I wish I was there to witness Aaliyah being alive but then again I'm thinking it would been worse cause I wouldn't been able to handle her death cause I barely do it now. It's the fact that she was gonna be the biggest thing in the world she had the potential for it. I discovered her in 2016 and I was so obsessed with her during that time. I still am but I been growing now and I'm bout to be the age she was during the one in a million Era and I'm just realizing how young she was.

I didn't know her personally but Aaliyah was so natural and angelic in the public eye!!! I'm quite sure she was the same funny and down to earth person behind the scenes with friends and family. My favorite R&B singer all-time!!! Nobody and I mean nobody did it and or does it better than she did!!! She's truly "One In A Million" and her legacy will go on and on and on!!!
