This loss hit me at an all time high being the fan that I am, she died at the peak of her career. We didn’t get to see her become legendary. Today she would of been 41 and by this time I would assume she would’ve had multiple Grammys, clothing lines, Oscars, top charting albums, been on tour at least 5 times , married with kids.
I’ll never get over this loss man, the way she went just wasn’t right, wasn’t fair.😩🕊🤧❤️

Exactly , Knowing she would have wanted her fans to have access to her music . I remember her saying on her MTV Diary Episode she said after she was happy with her music that she wanted to put it out to please her fans because it was all about them . She would be highly disappointed to find out that her uncle and her cousin were keeping her music from us . They should put it out to help continue with Aaliyah's Legacy . Well the day I have kids , my children will definitely know Aaliyah and her music that IS out and hopefully love her music just as much as their mommy does ♥️ 💯 💯 It will played all throughout my house along with the rest of some other Incredible Musicians .

One thing that I really loved about Aaliyah and that people rarely mention, is how humble she was! Beautiful, flawless woman but she didn’t let that stop her from complimenting someone else! Even when she became a celebrity, she still kept that down-to-earth, kind, humble personality. And for that, is why I will always be a fan!!! If only other women and celebrities could be that way. She is wearing a wig here which looks great on her, but she usually rocks her own hair in a full afro which looks like a royal crown on her. Her natural hair made women proud to wear theirs too. One of the things I used to love about 106&park and the AJ and Free era was they color coordinated with their set design and guests wardrobe. I remember an interview from back then where their wardrobe stylists Lisa Smith Craig, and Demetrius Armstrong mentioned how it wasn’t just a video show but each show was a visual production.
