That’s a good time 🕰️ for fossils hunting in January! Some truly amazing finds will turn up around then, if only small all the fossils are so well preserved 🙌
Great video as always Brandon nice finds lice the calcite ammonite ,I’m back for the fossil festival in June for 3 days hoping to get a hunt in as well 👍
I really enjoyed meeting you at your shop last September. I enjoy your fun videos, and hope to join you on a guided fossil hunting adventure someday. Looks like the real season for fossil hunting has arrived. 👍
Cheers 👋 for that comment! I was certainly wet 💦 through from the rain ☔️ that day . I didn’t see anyone else out there fossil hunting that afternoon ⛈️😊
Thanks 🙏 I’ve got a TH-cam video called “ 10 Fossil Hunting Mistakes,” that’s a longer video on TH-cam that I made and helps you not to make certain fossil hunting mistakes. There is also an old film 🎦 on TH-cam of mine called “ Ammonite Lyme Regis.” That shows you how to look for the nice little commonly found iron pyrite ammonites at low tide . There are other tips and tricks videos on my “ Lyme Regis Fossils,” channel. The cliffs are dangerous and liable to fall suddenly and without warning ‼️ there is a fossil collecting code of conduct in operation along the Jurassic Coast! See the West Dorset Fossil Hunting Code of Conduct 🙌
@@tomchanin3621it’s amazing that with all Mary’s knowledge and Tray the dogs 🐕 that a landslide got him! It shows just how dangerous the cliffs are, that’s why I go fossil hunting at low tide a lot to be safer
@@LymeRegisFossils yes and you do an excellent job of reiterating the dangers of the cliffs in your videos which I think is very important for people to understand. Yesterday at Charmouth I watched a couple place there dog about 6 ft off the ground on a bit of a cliff ledge, so they could stand back and take photos of it ! 🤦🏼♂️
Some lovely finds, can't wait to be down in charmouth at the end of January.👍💯💥🎄🎄
