    had one for a few years now only thing ive done with it wwas fit sling swivels.drilling tthe forend was a bit nerve racking but has held together okay. only time you notice the recoil off3.5 cartridges is when you miss!

    I had the over and under version of this gun - the hammer started peening over when I did my end of season strip and clean. Got rid of it shortly thereafter.
    I now have a baikal side by side - 3 inch chamber, single selective trigger, ejectors, and multichoked. A great gun and cracking value. Like you I have no desire to put 3.5's through a side by side so the shorter chamber means I'm minimising blow-by.
    Are you sure that choke is appropriate for the yildiz thread pattern?

    Why’s it’s the Teauge choke not flush with the barrel

    • @CumbrianWildfowler
      @CumbrianWildfowler  หลายเดือนก่อน

      That is an extended choke type which means it extends from the muzzle by design.

      @ ok

    • @ghillie35
      @ghillie35 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It’s just I hve the extended and it sits flush and then the extended part it must be super extended

    • @CumbrianWildfowler
      @CumbrianWildfowler  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@ghillie35 sounds more like a flush? But I’m no expert. Extended normally means it extends past the muzzle. super extended are longer still.

    • @ghillie35
      @ghillie35 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @ it’s not flush as it extends a inch out of the barrel the flush are flush with barrels

    Hi nick has you know i have a over / under yildiz wildfowler 3 1/2 inch swear by it but I now shoot 3 inch cheddite 36g number 1 in steel out to 40 yards 1/4 and 1/2 chokes internal and have killed Canada's for fun my only problem is the recoil pad abit thin might replace it after the season let them in maybe a few clays and don't punish yourself to much we all miss pal
