Love it! Nice bit of kit! I have converted my 1964 GT 200 to electric. It now has 490 nm of torque, 0-100 kph in 1.3 seconds, tops out at 180 kph. Without breaking even a sweat or making a single noise. No time lost just pure power. Lol and runs flawlessly and has for the last 12 years literally only bought a bigger battery and changed me tyres out 2 times. Now I get a cool 680 k per charge. Way better than any petrol slush!
Had almost identical figures at Santa Pod many years ago with a Hill Climber Mini 1380 Swiftune which was stripped down to 650 kilos and on slicks. Very quick Lambretta
Hiya mate, i have a standard Li 150. can you give me any tips how to make it go a bit quicker please I>E> what kind of exhaust and carb to use and rough prices if possible on said parts tnx.
Superimola kit, 30mm Dellorto and a franspeed pipe. If the crank and the rest of the engine are all good then that little lot will set you back about a grand and give you around 24 bhp.
Hi my ts1 230 will do nearly 90 but more interested in 0-60 can you recommend an exhaust for low down acceleration Rather than kicking in from 6 to 10 thousand revs ?
@@Robert-hf6dw changing the exhaust won’t make much difference. It’s a combination of parts that will improve acceleration. Having the right gearing/carb/exhaust/tuning is what you need to get right. Most pipes come in between 6-9000 rpm. Changing the gearing to 15x46 SX200 gearbox will make it accelerate quicker but u will loose top end. If you riding on the road that’s probably fast enough.
@@Shedtune_Russ ok thanks il look at sprocket instead will be cheaper anyway prefer acceleration and losing 10mph be fine dont do 90 often cheers thankyou
Hi I messaged before that my ts1 was spluttering flat out I put a denso plug in that works with sip speedo and runs perfect It was built by madspeed set up by darryl taylor so dyno is correct The only trouble is I cant seem to get over 82mph 30mm phbh tsr taylor endcan Sx200 gearbox ported casings tuned kit af 60mm crank You said pipe design are good will it really make that much difference dont want to change carb as previous owner said tried 34mm and it wouldn't run as good A friends mhr does 87mph and its frustrating because I cant keep up and lambretta should be faster Where you getting similar speeds with exhaust before pipe design
Mine has always done 90+ mph. But I ran mine with a franspeed race and that was what it was tuned to go with. How often do u do that speed? If it rides ok then leave it as is, otherwise call Darrell and ask him what difference a pipe design exhaust would make to the tune he has done for you.
Oh wow ! If only I’d had that back in 1974 instead of my Jet 200 ! I’d probably be dead now !

Big thumbs up from a motorcycle rider! Impressive stuff.

No center stand, though. Long stroke, ya can hear it. Nice! Also, nice insulation job on the Shed!
Ha ha, your the only person to have noticed the Shed lol 😂

Sounds good and out of interest, do you have your CHT gauge under or on top of spark plug.
Hi Paul, It's under the plug on mine
You can hear the poke, 45bhp+ at the rear wheel got to be. TS1’s are over 30 years old but a lot of tuners still swear by them.
No only 32bhp at the wheel on this one...
@@Shedtune_Russ really??!! My RB’s got 37 Hp atw does 90 on standard gp gearing don’t fancy any faster on 10” wheels 😁
How’d you stop it from wheely?
Use the clutch
i dont know if thats what lambrettas want...but its what they gonna get....my gp was a very similar set up and bhp.. but probably not as fast as yours

Maybe quickest road goin TS1, but certainly not quickest TS1 in the UK over the quarter mile
Probably right, I’d love to see the timing ticket of a quicker one tho 👍🏻
I ran 12.81 at 100.68mph at santa pod on a TS1 230 about 20 yrs ago
WOW that’s fast! I recon faster than Eric Cope! 😀😀😀👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Lengthened and raked frame, not for road use. Sprint only. And nitrous oxide injection
Any pics, would love to see it?
Whehey hair raising.
Doesn't look that fast tbh 🤔
😂 its fast enough for me
