Upsaaru or upsaru is very popular in southern part of Karnataka and Curry prepared by drumstick leaves is very very healthy.
Drumstick leaves are specially considered to have all the vitamins and proteins needed by us. The best way to strengthen your immunity is to have one serving of drumstick leaves twice in 4 weeks.
Consumption of Drumstick leaves controls diabetes and are known to improve glucose tolerance and hence prevents your blood glucose level from fluctuating
Drumstick leaves are rich in fibre and helps in emptying the bowel, and hence improve bowel movements.
Drumstick leaves help in regulating blood flow to the abdomen and reduce pain during menstruation
People who are suffering from eye problems and eye related diseases are recommended to eat these leaves

I remember my childhood, my mom every day prepared same food for me ,we had drumstic tree in our garden, I love to eat this upsaaru and ragi kali with dhal spinach ,totally it's a healthy food but we add few red chillies not more than 4 or 5 nos. tq for sharing ☺🙏

Hi...i don't understand why d masala is not cooked...why is it eaten raw...if tge ground masala was cooked in d daal & moringa leaves mixture...it would have become a nice curry or gravy
And i was expecting u to use coconut ...
As karnataka people use coconut in almost all recipes...
Anyways i think it is ur authentic style...especially mysore people who eat ragi mudde more instead of rice
