The dark elf ability is triggered by specific amount of kills by any side. Example: You need 800 kills to get it. If 800 men die on the battlefield, ability will trigger, no matter which side got the kills.

The passive for DE is dependant on blood spilt on the field, it does not matter who did the spilling, just the glorious red mist that follows.

6:24 It dosen't matter who kills them. When a certain percentage of all units (even your own) die, your passive wil pop.
Using fodder to just die for you, is a valid strategy.
If you hover the mouse over the purple bar, you can see how many kills are needed.

Apollo, the passive for the Dark Elves gets activated as soon as about 420 men have been killed on the battlefield, it does not require you to kill all of them, they just have to die.

Murderous prowess by the dark elfs is popped when any amount of men on the battlefield die so ur men die enemy men die it all adds up on ur ability so u can litteraly sit there not get a single kill and ur ability will pop. So in ffa dark elfs murderous prowess is kinda useless unless u r the first in combat which in ffa is usually a bad thing....so in ffa if ur looking for that ability to give u a uperhand it probably won't work out like that. Love everything u do pixie!!! Ur fucking awesome!!!!!! U were the first total war youtuber i subbed to!!!
The passive ability (Murderous Prowess) for the dark elf is about the number of death in the whole battlefield not the number you actually killed.
yeah, as the dark elves, don't take a ranged based army in FFA, because you either have to be the first into melee (making your army pointless) or you give up the blood buff. either use the high elves or make a melee rush army.

In MP Dwarfs are really good they have anykind of though troops and good ranged that can handle a fight almost with any other core infantry. Liked a lot the full gobbos army he got only morale issues but managed well afterall

Always love watching Warhammer, seize battle, field battle, free for all, you name it. They are so close and you don't know til the end who wins which is really awesome. Except if you are empire or bretonia user, they suck so almost auto defeat

Does the dark elf passive charge up based on your kills only? Might be that it charges based on enemies being killed, so in a 1v1 it goes off you getting kills, but in a FFA as the other players kill eachother it helps you charge up.

If i were you i would hold ground and skirmish the dwarfs and burn them with the hydra (also imwould be skaven Lord Skrolk or Teclis high elves)(and i wouldnt use cav i would use more range and artillery or melee)

In a free for all I always try to stay out of the fight as long as possible, let the enemy fight it out. Once they are weakened I sweep in and win the match!
Elegast wow you get points for kills though so staying out too long you won't have enough points to win.
