Being 1 of Pixels first 10,000 Subscribers I can happily state he hasn't changed a bit and thats why we follow him.
He is a great commentator with extraordinary depth in the knowledge in all categories of strategy. He knows how to translate the complicated stuff that's going on into simple relatively English .
He makes Total War seam like an actual battle simulation rather than a game. His friendly tone and controlled chaos Demeter makes him sound well knowledge, approachable, and confidently comically.
The rode to half a mil is approaching. Considering the fact that a year ago this channel was a lot smaller like if I guess 30,000-70,000 maybe smaller.
The point is that Apollo Is now are Vanguard for Total War.
And if he can get to 500k it will be a win for the whole community.

Oh yeah, I've missed those.
Warhammer would also work really well for Life of a Soldier since there's small units and heroes/monsters who are easy to follow and pick out from a crowd and less likely to die too suddenly.
I wouldn't mind following a regular goblin or something if possible, but it could end quickly.

Hey PA just want you to know I enjoy all your total war commentaries. I am watching other total war youtubers but so far your commentaries are the best. Others are just so focused on the strategy factor but you are able to utilize strategy advices with entertainment contents. Really feels like watching a movie 😂😂. Please keep up the good work.

Can you make some historical battles, for example punic wars with using strategies Hannibal used? :D
The thing with warhammer is that generals are a lot less fragile. They're also a lot easier to pull out as long as you can see their health bar. They are some of the most powerful units in the army and some of them like Kholek can solo entire forces. Used properly, they can turn the tide of an entire battle.

I have never played a totalwar game and have been trying todecide if they are worth the purchase. This video has pushed me to the point that I feel I should give it a go. From yalls experience do you need a high end gaming machine to get quality visuals and game play? Is the game more cpu or gpu taxing? ty.

Apollo I highly recommend the Steel Faith mod if you want a completely re-balanced and waaaay more lore friendly total war warhammer experience also makes the battles last longer :). Please like so he can see this!

I am surprised Dwarfs players don't use Dwarf Rangers more. They are great versatile units. The throwing axe variety have very high ap damage that can make short work of monstrous creatures and heavy cavalry. They are cheaper than slayers also.
Near the end you should of MOVED YOUR CAV BACK AROUND AND HIT THEIR ARTY FROM BEHIND, i say this but if it was me at the time i probably wouldnt of thought of it :P

Like I say all the time the warhammer fantasy universe has so much untapped potential imagine this game but with the combat as slow as Medieval 2, the siege battles that look, feel, and play differently for each race for example in a Brettonian siege the streets are very wide and goes uphill allowing cavalry to be effective in a siege battle to get epic down hill charges and your weak brettonian infantry to have a downhill advantage, but is balanced by the fact that it would give the enemy ranged/ artillery to have better line of sight on your troops.And there would be 4 types of these maps that vary in design + unique maps for certain cities in the lore. But this design would be completely different for all the races, which would result in different play styles and tactics for each race, meaning siege battles would be the most diverse and fun with the most replay ability of any total war game ever. another good example are the lizardmen imagine you set up a scenario with your friends of a lizardmen last stand, the forces of chaos have broken there way into a temple city and your forced to fall back to the city center (which is located on top of the largest "pyramid") where your elite troops the temple guard are falling back to the top of the pyramid to make a last stand with your slaan mage preist, but it is not just one choke point you have to defend the four staircases. The forces of chaos approach from all four sides, the slaan casting devastating magic after devastating magic but chaos are to many and they eventually scale the enormous set of stairs only to met your near unbreakable warriors, the temple guard fight to the last but all your defending forces are eventually slain, but have killed an enumerable amount of foes, and so ends the the story of the most powerful lizardmen city ever known, but they will be remembered throughout all the coming ages of this world for there stalwart bravery and ferocity in the face of the ultimate evil and our eternal foe.
eh eh not completely horrible right ;) and combine all that with the fact that all the factions look and play completely differently and give us free for all and an army painter, it could have been one of the best total wars ever and become a widely accepted classic. So much potential you know. So hopefully CA will take all our feedback,and take their time. Because I really want to love the TOTAL WAR WARHAMMER trilogy, but it needs our help total war and warhammer fans alike to in mass tell CA what needs to happen if they want it to be a widely renowned and accepted classic that people will always come back to in 10 years time. I really do believe that this has so much untapped potential , and it's our job as fans to once again tell them in mass what needs to happen, but we all have to do it in a stern , strict, but polite and uncompromising manner or they will never listen to us.
You can link them to comments that you think are productive, or a video or even multiple videos, but the worst thing we can do as a community is do nothing if we don't do anything than they won't improve the Total War Warhammer trilogy and they won't make historical title any better. Ha Pixie if you ever read this comment maybe you can make a collaboration video with someone that knows the lore so you can handle total war and the other person can handle the warhammer aspect of it. But remember the worst you can do is nothing . I hope everyone enjoyed and maybe learned something, have a great day and let us the total war and warhammer communities for this one moment join forces for something that we both care much about, to send a strong signal to CA. I hope you enjoyed reading this and please for the sake of something we all love , don't do nothing.
