      If you cleared the code and this fixed your issue no. Unless im missing that your problem still exist. On some trucks the speed sensor is located on the differential

      Trans speed sensors can be found on the differential, transfer case etc. Varies by maker & model

      Go to www.rockauto.com put in your vehicles information. Click on electrical and then speed sensor and you'll see ALL the many speed sensors listed and you can select from the many different brands. You can always use google or contact your local autoparts store

      Yes. This is why i tell people to go to rockauto as it shows you what yours actually looks like. Then all u have to do is match it to the 1 on your vehicle

    Is this one 4x4 or 2wd car? Would a 4x4 and 2wd car speed sensor be in the same place?

    • @avery214j
      @avery214j  ปีที่แล้ว

      The speed sensors are always on the transmission some place. Some trucks the speed sensor maybe located at the very end of the tranee.

      Go to www.rockauto.com or any part stores web site. Put in all your vehicles information. And search for Trans speed sensor. NOW u have a pic and start looking with a bright flashlight for the same sensor as the pic.

      The 4x4 should be located on the differential but u are the best one to tell this by looking

      Speed sensor should be on the transfer case.

      This one is on a 2wd transmission. The speed sensor on a 4x4 is located on the top right (passenger) side on the transfer case and threads in instead of held in with a bolt down like the one in the video.
