    Can u please do a video on CF job you did with more details, did u act up as spec doctor of just SHO with usual nonsense jobs ? Thanks

      I did a CF job in Dermatology, rather than as a specialty doctor. As Dermatology is an outpatient based specialty, you don’t really get any ward based jobs and you get a lot of time in clinics.

      You will need to do medicine as an undergraduate degree.

    Isn’t internal medicine training 3 years instead of 2?

      Internal medicine is 3 years but you can apply after year 2.

      It essentially means doing a dermatology job in the hospital, alongside your GP work. You can speak to your local Dermatology department to see what the process is.

    thank you somuch,,,i just wanted to know that,,, i m a foreigner,,an asian,,,to get settle in uk as a dermatologist,,, where should i begin?? After completing plab and after getting a job at nhs can i apply for dermatology?? How can i do that??

      Definitely, get your GMC license to practise medicine in the UK first. Afterwards, you can consider applying to Dermatology jobs.

      Yes you do. You can also go through the surgical or paediatric routes as well.

      Hmm you will need to check with the GMC (General Medical Council) as you may require to show evidence for your medical training.

      Unfortunately, having this isn’t sufficient to become a dermatologist in UK. You need to check GMC for further guidance.

      I did basic medical degree MBChB and then proceeded to do medical training and further specialty training in Dermatology 😅

      No, it can’t be counted towards your dermatology training but can be used as evidence for dermatology application!
