How about a real test? How long will the motor run without the panel compared to how long it will run with the panel? A real objective test to see the actual benefit of using the panel.
1 How long does it last in one fully charged go in case I don't want to carry the canopy? 2 And how long does it last while charging and using simultaneously under the sun? 3 What's the speed on your 14 feet roundbout with torqeedo? 4 Are there instructions to assembly and disassembly?
1. The run time varies depending on the speed but it is rated for 13 hours @ slow speed / 6 hours @ half speed / 0:50 minutes @ full speed. The solar panel will work laid on the front deck as well if you don't want to bring the canopy. 2. This will vary greatly depending on the speed that you are cruising and the amount of sunlight. On a clear sunny day it will significantly add to your run time cruising at a slow to medium speed. 3. The 14ft Sport Runabout? This 3HP equivalent motor will push that model around 4mph 4. Yes it does come with instructions. The assembly and disassembly is very easy.
@@SeaEagleBoats And can you give a rough estimate for full speed added time with simultaneously solar charging on a sunny day? From around 50 minutes to how long approximately? Trying to get an idea of how quick I can reach the near bay for my summer camp from the city. Range is enough for sure but I don't want to slow down and make it longer.
Does it charge the battery pretty quickly? So if it is fully charged and you keep it plugged in, do you notice that it stays fully charged thru out the whole day? Thanks
Depending on how you use the motor it will draw power faster than it recharges. We will be doing a follow up video showing the exact specs on charge speed versus draw. Stay tuned!
Looks sharp! Sea Eagle has a lot of options on boating! Thanks!
Yes we do. We're always working to perfect our models and come out with new ones. Cheers!
Looks awesome!
Thanks! Its an awesome little setup.

We have a full test planned. This was just an intro to the package but we definitely will go over more specs in detail. Cheers!
