- Prestwick Golf Club hosted the first Open Championship in 1860. Designed by Old Tom Morris, it features unique and challenging links terrain. The course is famous for its historic holes, like the 1st, "Railway," beside a railway line. Prestwick remains a revered site in golf history.
Thanks to Prestwick Golf Club for their hospitality.

"Here comes the rain". 😂 Looks super enjoyable. 😜
Found you through your Durness video, loving the content. Thanks buddy!
Love Prestwick. Course worth traveling 7 time zones for. You picked a great 5 to give the world a taste of classic links.
Ru, love your videos. Played Preswick twice on our fifth trip over from the states last summer. Absolutely loved it as we do all links courses. (Love your Cruden Bay too). The welcome at Prestwick was lovely as was the food/drink and clubhouse.
Just back from playing Gailes, Dundonald then Prestwick. We had no wind and sunshine 😂 I’m still reliving playing the Alps. A relief to get down in 8 😂😂 enjoyed watching it again on your video
Played it in 2019 loved it, plan to go back again. 17 what a hole
I love your videos, get some of those squirrel tails for your mics. Are you on Bluesky? Actually I'd rather hear the wind, its fine lol! Love that you say they are only blind the first time!
Oldmeldrum for the open for me
