Problem with those rubber bands, is they break after a few months. Just curious, how about painting them and then throwing them on an adapter in the drill and using the chrome polish on something harder but not too hard like a rubber sanding pad? Seems it would help your process since the rubber wouldn’t pull the paint out of the grooves. I’m gonna try that
You're absolutely correct about the rubber bands breaking. A few months later I took all of them off because of that and wish I'd never have put in the video. Let me know how your proposed method works out and good luck!
Blevins dry completely, take smooth side of microfiber wet with good off industrial or your choice of solvent lightly, put socket on adapter in a drill, place rag tightly around socket as you spin on high.but I will try chrome polish too
