Victor is an instrumental animal and I mean that in the best possible way! Dan doesn't need sleeves! It's hot in Brazil at Christmas! It feels to me that what happened that night is often portrayed as a pretty little fairy tale; Dan and Victor do not leave that option open for us. Dan's vocals emphasize that it was the Lord of Heaven and Earth and Eternity born that night. "Let all within in us praise His Holy Name!" That's the way to sing "Christ is the Lord!" Like an earthquake! These two geniuses! Merry Christmas, Joyeux Noel, Feliz Natal, Feliz Navidad, Buon Natale, God Jul!
What I can tell you is that Victor emphasizes the 3/4 time signature with his guitar, and on the walls, all you can see are the black guitars from his collection; the colorful ones he put anywhere. With the poster on the door, he's expressing his connection to Death Metal.
Victor and Dan are blending two completely different music styles - waltz and metal - to create an iconic masterpiece.
3/4 time is my favorite time signature! It just feels right which is why so many classic Christmas carols are in that time. I've notice some real stunning ones in that room alone. I wonder how many he has in total. I only have 12😭.

@@BemusingBill OOOooo (that wasn't meant to be a train whistle...just an extended OOO, but as I added the fading ooo, I had to giggle. I LOVE TRAINS! I love watching them, studying about them, drawing them, and RIDING on them (YES!). The thing I love about them the MOST, though, is standing about 30' away from the tracks, in different places, and just listening to the sounds of the passing train, from the perspectives of the different surroundings. It's so AWESOME!

Aha! I've been waiting for this one! Hooray!!! It's still Christmas at our house, as well, because my son-in-law had to work (nights) this week. His "long weekend" is THIS week, so we just waited a week, but we've been CELEBRATING since the 24th, which really isn't unusual, because we simply celebrate our Lord Jesus Christ every second of every day, all year long. 😀

I was the only one in my family that love this song. I don't know what planet my family is from.
Don't give up! If you can figure out how to get them to listen again, maybe in a different setting than before, or something, they might end up "getting" it.
There have been FLOODS of people who reacted negatively at first, but there have been BIGGER floods of people explaining what the "earthquake growl" was about (and there are several REALLY good descriptions of that--every one of which is correct--it's not just a static thing), and every time I've seen other reactions, I've seen MANY of the ones who really, strongly were upset in the beginning, who are now extremely, wonderfully "preaching the Gospel" which is NOT just a cute saying, in this instance.
There is a scripture that says, "God's Word NEVER returns void (or empty of its content)."
BEFORE I watched the video, I was getting ready to post my latest Grandma's Got Grace video, which actually has several scriptures in it, that made me go back and change the very end of the written article (on my website), which is the article you can hear me read in the video.
